I’m going to the US for 3 days. May only need to use SMS. The pay-per-use rate is listed as $10 per 100 outgoing texts. Does this mean I pay $10 no matter what and can send up to 100 texts?In other words, if I only sent two texts, do I still pay $10? If this is the case, Easy Roam is obviously the way to go.Thanks!

Our trip will be longer than 30 days. Can we renew the plan while we’re in the States?

Hi, I am current prepaid user of Koodo. I have one question about U.S roaming data booster. If I buy that booster, can I use data right away once I land in U.S? I don’t need to phone and text service in U.S, I need just for searching something by data. Is there any extra fee I need to pay in advance or need to go Koodo to add some plan? I am going to stay 4 days in U.S next month. My friend told me that I need to prepare something else. can you give me some tips?  Thank you for your time! P.S If I need to pay extra, what kind of service I need to heads up?

My plan is supposed to include data (have email for confirmation) but it still does not show.  I can’t find a number to leave a message for callback.  Is this still available?  How do you talk to someone?

HelloI recently ported my number to Koodo because the Service Provider I had didn’t have coverage in my new place. I was able to call Koodo Shop and they assisted me with the porting which came at a $50 cost nonetheless. But the max data I could get was 15GB. I accepted it because I was desperate at the time for network coverage and data.At the moment, I needed a bit more data but I could not find any option in my Self Serve to upgrade my data plan to a much more bigger one.Does anyone know how I can go around this and be able to upgrade to a bigger data plan?Thank you all for your suggestions.

Can you please advise whats the best Add_on I can opt for if I have to travel to India for 2 weeks as per day 14$ is too much? Even if I use it, will it still consumes my Data from Canada or I need to buy additional min/Text/Data to use in INDIA. Also, how is the coverage i.e. partners Koodo has in INDIA?

Hey all, I feel like I know the answers to these, but the Koodo website does not provide direct answers. If I am on a postpaid plan, let’s say the 15$ starter plan, and travelling abroad for months at a time, will I get charged anything for receiving text messages? My only needs while abroad are to occasionnally receive text messages for 2FA purposes, and to keep my phone number. I’m currently on a postpaid plan, the same plan I was on while paying back my tab. My tab is now paid and cleared. How come I can see the 15$ starter plan when I am NOT logged in, but I don’t see it when I am logged in? Do I have to call or go in-store to get the BYOP plans, even though it says Available Online Only? Thank you in advance for the help.

I heard today that Koodo offers a plan for about $45/month that would allow me to take my phone with me to the USA and includes calls to Canada and USA as well as unlimited texting.  All I can find on the site is the Roam package at $14/day.  Can someone please point me in the right direction??  Thanks.

Will Koodo ever be getting plans for Apple watches or selling them?

I created my Koodo account(1) for my childern 4 years ago, and I have another Koodo account(2) for my husband and myself.That is, all of my 4 family member are using Koodo.Among us, my daughter( secondary student ) is using $33 for only 250MB. Actually she complains that.Because, her father and brother are using $30 for 2 GB. So, I would like to change her plan to $30 for 2 GB, the same one as her father and brother’s.How can I do that? She is too young to tell this kind of issue with a unfamiliar someone.So, I would like to do that on her behalf. How can I? 

Hello I recently purchased a brand new IPhone 12 64 GB Black and opted for the $15/month Device Care Complete add-on. This warranty claims to include “Unlimited storage for photos and videos “ but I am unsure how to utilize this feature I’m paying for. Is the feature tied to Apple Photos, the iCloud suite of plans or another app altogether. iCloud is Apple’s service separate from Koodo so that makes no sense. Any help ?

I invited a friend to join Koodo. She already has her own phone and does not want a new one, but she’d like to become a Koodo customer for the reasonable monthly fees.Problem: When she clicks on the link she received from Koodo (when I invited her), it seems like the Koodo website will not let her on board unless she buys a new phone, Is there really no work around this issue?

I got a call a couple months ago from koodo saying that for my loyalty I could get a Samsung Galaxy a7 lite tablet at a discounted rate and just have it payed little by little with my monthly pay.I thought that I needed it so I agreed and I hardly use it because I realized I have zero use for it. Is it possible for me to return this? I literally never use it and it’s just making me pay an extra amount on my plan that I don’t think I’ll even be able to afford. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I am an international students, not Canadian citizen, don’t have driving license, and haven’t got a SIN yet. Can I get a regular plan (not prepaid) and transfer my number at Koodo store? If yes, what document do I need to bring? Study permit? Passport? And what else?

I am planning to add-on a monthly long distance to call the USA. It is $3/month and $0.05/minute.This add-on is per month at the moment I add it Or is it goes per bill cycle.example,, Add-on January 1 st, 2022 $3, the next month is February 1, 2022 $3 orAdd-on January 1,2022 $3 but my Billing cycle ends in January 11,2022 so Do I have to pay another $3 on January 11,2022? Or only $1.50 per half of month?I hope someone can answer my question
