I have 2 phones under my account. One in my name, one in my daughters name. Is it possible to give her some of my 19GB of data?
Hi,I am travelling to the US with my family and would like to be able to text as needed. But the 11/day seems crazy where it might only be a couple of texts over the course of the vacation.I see there’s a 10/100 texts for pay per use option - how do I ensure I use that instead so I’m not charged 11/day to send one text?Is there another option that would make more sense? TIA
Previous Plan:100 MB dataAdd-on: 250 MB for $2/monthChanged Plan to:2 GB dataAfter I verified the plan changed in my account I checked my usage: 0 / 2GBI then noticed the 250 MB add-on was still on my account. Since I don’t need that add-on anymore and no longer want to be charged for it, I removed it. After I verified the add-on was removed I go to usage and it shows: 0 / 1.7GBIt looks like removing the add-on after changing my plan incorrectly removed data from the base plan of 2GB. Obviously, I would like my data to be set back to 2GB as per my plan and not be charged the $2 for the 250 MB.Thanks...
I currently have talk and text only. What would extra monthly cost be to get data on my phone. Thanks
This morning I received a message from Koodo: You are currently using a 3G phone that connects to 3G networks. This means you’ll no longer be able to use data, text or make phone calls- including 911 when roming in the U.S.But I am pretty sure that my mobile supports 4G LTE, it is just not supporting VoLTE (because I can’t see such option in the data network setting, and my mobile model is also not in the VoLTE list). And what is mentioned in koodo webiste: https://www.koodomobile.com/en/help/3gshutdownUSis confusing, from the information provided there I am not sure if I can roam in US with 4G LTE but without VoLTE. Does any body know the answer? Thanks
I was looking to upgrade plans and one is 20GBs at 4G LTE speed and another is 20GBs at 4G speed, I asked a rep over the phone and she didn’t sound like she knew, just said that they’re “pretty much the same”, obviously if they’re giving you the option between 1 or the other then there is a difference, is one better than the other?
I am about to leave the Canada to travel to central and south america during 4-6 months. After, I want to go to Asia (vietnam, thailand, singapour,..) for about 4-6 months.I would like to find the best deal to be able to receive incoming SMS from around the world for authentification. Thank you !
Hi,I am traveling outside Canada and I added roaming service but unfortunately I can’t connect to a network (no network) so I can’t receive any call or messages, so do anyone have any Idea what I could do!
if i have applecare+ for my iphone 11 dose that cover broken screen or screen replacement
Hi,I am on a Koodo Plan for Canada, but I will visit Turkey soon. I was wondering whether it is possible for me to receive SMS messages from Canada when I am there.I am not planning to use my Koodo Sim Card actively when I am there. So, I do not want to pay daily for some extra international service for weeks, but I will definitely need to receive messages for connecting to some of my online accounts for dual authentication. Would you be so kind as to inform me about this? Thank you very much. Best,
Hello fellow koodos I am looking at purchasing a Samsung smartwatch to use with my Samsung S20 on the koodo network but I'm a little confused as to whether the whether the LTE network is actually working for those watches or not Can someone please help me or should I just get the Wi-Fi version.
I can’t figure out if Koodo offers home and network security or if it’s through Telus only.
I have a Koodo home phone and would like to use it as a cell phone now. Can I put my Koodo home phone sim card in an unlocked smartphone (if so what would be the sim pin ? 1234 I guess ?) or do I need to port this already Koodo number to a new "cell" account ?
I recently switched my old plan to a 4G plan that had almost double the GB limit. I switched the plans via self serve and I have not been able to access/use data since. I also used willmyphonework.net to double check there was no issue with compatibility, I have a OnePlus 5T, and there seems to be no issues. Can anyone assist?
Hello, I have Easy Roam, but I can’t make any calls. I have checked my profile and has all add-ons added to my account as follows: $11/day US Easy Roam $14/day Easy Roam INTL International Data Roaming Pay-Per-Use Intl Long Distance Koodo VoLTE Access International Voice RoamingI do see the charge of Easy Roam ($14/day) in my account every time I active roaming service, but I am not able to use the service I am charged for. If anyone could help, I would appreciate it. Thanks,Anna
I account--two phone numbers.. if both phones are added to US add-on and they call each other is that $12per person on the account or $24 fore that day? if they call different US friends on the same day is it still a $12 bill to the account for that day or $12 for each number for a total billing charge of $24? thank you.
I have the protection plan with my phone and have been paying for it for years. Never had to use it till recently. I'm just curious if I have to pay the 50 for asurion to fix it even though i pay for the protection plan or if it is cover by koodo
I see a lot of posts going from prepaid to postpaid, but what about the other way around? I’m no longer in Canada but I need to keep my phone number, and I’d like to swap off a postpaid to a prepaid and keep my number. Is that possible?
Anyone know why the majority of the rate plans that are available to new customers are not available to existing customers? My son is currently on a $15 a month plan and he needs more minutes, but the only available plans to him start at $60! 4 times the price when all he needs are more minutes. Is there any way to get the “starter” plans that are advertised as for new customers only? Thanks!
I am looking to add a line to my Koodo account. It looks like I need to bring my own phone to purchase the starter plan that works best for me.After I purchase the phone, do I then order a SIM card and wait for it to arrive before I purchase my plan? Thanks.
Hi there, I just have a question that i’m curious about and wonder if anybody could answer it for me.My partner and I both used to have our cell phones through bell. Last year, i switched my phone over to koodo after my contract expired, but he had to remain with bell because he still had a year left on his contract. his ends at the end of the month, so we plan on switching his to koodo as well when that happens. My question is, when we switch his phone over to koodo, would we be able to put it onto my bill, so that we can have both phones on one bill? or would he have to set his up seperately on his own plan with a separate bill?
Back in September, I got a text from Koodo saying I was going to get a free 5gb of data added to my plan for free, just for sticking with Koodo. I have never gotten the extra 5gb. How am I supposed to get my free 5gbs extra?
I’m trying to cancel my international roaming add-on + pay-per-use international online but it won’t let me. I can’t make a call because I’m in the USA. I’d like to only have EasyRoam turned on. What do I do?
