if we subscribe to stream plus can all three of our lines use the account on mobile or is the account line specific?
I have no tab and don’t want a bunch of data I won’t use. I want a starter plan but don’t see a way to get one. Can I cancel my account and return to Koodo to get a starter plan? Is there an easier way? I’ve been trying to get ahold of a human for support but have had no help. Terrible customer service.
I had a $65 plan but self serve let me switch to a $55 plan. My understanding was $60 was the minimum for tab mid/plus. If I already have a tab obviously that is still there. But am I now limited in the future to only tab basic options? Our other line got a tab on a $55 plan last week too which is below the $60 stated. So I guess I’m also asking what dictates the tab you can get in the plan you currently have and where can you see that as self serve doesn’t specify the tab allowed with the plan when you switch plans.
How does Stream + access internet? Does it run off my phone? How does it work if I want to watch it on my TV ? Is it connecting through my Apple box? Or do I need a separate internet provider to use the service?
How does the new Rollover Data perk for postpaid plans work? Would it roll over multiple months? If I have a 10 GB plan and use only 1 GB every month, would my data accumulate every month. Like month 2-19 GB, month 3-28 GB, month 3-37 GB etcThanksHans
So I have had a really hard time getting a straight answer from koodo registering upgrading my current plan which is $55 20gb of data at 4g LTE speeds. I went to the mall and I have an offer on my account for $55 for 30gb of data but it says only 4g speeds doesn’t say LTE the rep at the mall told me it’s the exact same thing. Later that night I go to change it on my self serve and it says on the new plan capped at 100mbps so I called into koodo and told them what I was seeing and he also said no there’s no difference in your plan and the new plan aside from 10gb more and when I told him the message about the speed he put me on hold came back and then said yes you’ll get less speed so pick if data or speed is more important to me. He put in a request to have a manager call me back which I got a call today from the manager and the manager also has told me there’s no difference in the two plans and that my current plan which is 4g lte is capped at 100mbps as well but I did a speed test wh
I’m currently in the process of transferring my number from Bell over to Koodo (I haven’t received my SIM card yet).My question/concern is that with the emails that i’ve received from Koodo, it shows that they provided me a number and it’s not my current active number. Will this correct itself when I go through the process of transferring my number? Did i do something wrong?
Hi: I am a Koodo customer with an iPhone6.Koodo contacted me that I need to upgrade it if traveling internationally.I want an iPhone SE, but there is an 8-week wait for one through Koodo, too late for my trip..However, I could get an SE immediately through Apple. Can I do so & transfer my SIM card and info myself? Can I keep my current Koodo plan? Thanks, Jane
Hello Kodoo Community! I am looking at my current plan versus 3 other plans offered. What would I be giving up or gain with a change. Your input is greatly appreciated.
I signed up today for Stream. I have a Netflix account and it has linked successfully. I was also able to access discovery. When I finally got signed in to Apple, I am being advised that it is only valid for 7 days. Is the service not included in Stream? I do not have an Apple account.
Hey Everyone, I am seeing some promotional plans offered to me in my self-serve option. Are those plans all part of the current tab option that I am on? Currently, I am on a old Tab Mid plan and just wanted to make sure that before I switch to a plan shown (for the same price that I am currently paying) I wouldn’t be selecting one from the Tab Basic. Thank you
As the title states. Can anyone describe what the new Premium Voicemail perk is. Is it a combination of instant voicemail and visual voicemail?
I currently have 2/4 Gigs of data on my current plan (2 Gig with current plan and 2 free gigs with an older promo). For $45/month and $10/100mg data a month. My tab is paid in full and my contract is over. I was thinking of upgrading to the $45 6gig plan. Looks very similar to my current plan with similar features, other than the extra 100mg gig a month if you go over you limit is now $12/month instead of $10, but when I add it to my card and go to check out, it adds a sim card. I don’t need one. And it does not say if this plan is monthly or for a 12-24 month contract. Anyone know the answers??? TIA
I am with Koodo on a $60/mnth plan for 15GB of data with a phone that i brought myself. I am looking at changing my plan to the $55/mnth for 20GB of data plan which showed up in the self serve change plan area of my account. Upon further investigation i found the $55/mnth for 20GB tab plus plan, which i am leaning towards because i can get the google pixel 6a for 0$ and lower my payment by $5 per month at the same time. Under the $55 for 20GB tab plus offer, it says 8GB included and a bonus 12GB to total the 20GB. My question is, is the bonus 12GB of data permanent or is there a time limit on the bonus data and eventualy it would disappear and i would end up paying $55/mnth for only 8GB of data?
When changing a plan, am I gonna loose my current promotion?
I received an email stating the below:Our plan is to make yours better. We’re always thinking of ways to keep you happy. So we put together one of our very best offers to make Koodo even better for you.Your exclusive offer is20GB for $45/monthThis is one deal you won't find anywhere else. All you need to do is log in to Self Serve and select Change my plan to jump on this amazing offer! However when I go into Self Serve to change the plan, I can see the plan, select it but then I get an error message saying “It looks like you can’t choose a perk right now. Please check back shortly.” I’ve tried on different devices, different browsers over the course of the past 3 days and it doesn’t help. It does not say I need to change or upgrade my phone to get this rate plan. I also already pay $45 a month, just with less data so I am not downgrading cost wise. Am I missing something?Any insight would help. Thanks!!
Just wanted to give a shout-out to Bernadette! Yesterday I called Koodo and got a man on the line who said he was going to put me on a brief hold to confirm my account… and never came back. since you have to wait for a callback, I was annoyed and hung on the line. 30 minutes later, I got Bernadette. She was lovely!!! So worth the wait. She went out of her way to help me with my plan issue and I got it all resolved. Thank you, Bernadette! Will do a survey if it comes through but if it doesn’t, here’s to you!
My order for koodo service and a pixel phone was placed yesterday. Today I received my login details and the number “ 289-423-3828 “ this is not the number I want. I want my old number. My old number is still active with Rogers. When I activate the Koodo sim,*Will my old number port over to KOODO and replace 289-423-3828 ?*Will my service with Rogers terminate automatically at that point?Thankyou. Only been with Koodo 24 hours and I already vehemently despise this company who is too lazy to offer free phone support and the automated assistant is broken and was programmed by a 7th grader. I deeply regret switching to Koodo. Please help.
i wanted to add a new line to my account for my daughter? when asked to add a plan will that add a second plan to my account or will it just be under 1 plan. me and my wife share 1 plan already
I have Koodo prepaid. I added on US Roaming Text and Talk as I will be in the US for a while. In less than two weeks, I (according to my statement) have racked up 152 texts and used 112 minutes. This is totally untrue. I also have umpteen texts/contacts somehow to 7723 origin Prod 1 - whatever that is. Also, friends who have US phones have indicated that when they try to call, they get a message: the number you have called has call restrictions. I scheduled a callback with Koodo help today and the callback was blocked as SPAM. So frustrated!
Hi. Any advice on whether I can move from a monthly plan to a Pay-as-you-go? The only issue is this is not possible via self service. I'm tempted to end my koodo plan entirely but would prefer to stay as there has been no issue aside from the cost.
I just added 1000min International LD Add-on (AUS UK, GER, CHN, HK, IND, S. KOR) to my account (Nov 16).When does this take effect? Can I call HK immediately and this will be covered by the 1000 mins?I called HK before I added the add-on. Does that get calculated into the 1000 mins?
Can the Stream+ add on be used on Samsung tv, or does it need to be used with device registered to mobile phone on Koodo network?
Trying to cut down on cell phone usage and thought it would be easier if I had a landline (Koodo wireless I guess is the option?) I don't want the hassle of having to give out a new phone number to everyone so wondering if I can use my current cell number so it rings through on both devices (current cell and new wireless phone) if someone calls?
When I try calling my voicemail it says call failed or error performing this request Unknown error. It has been this way since June or July. I am frustrated because I have tried using self help chat and I scheduled a call back and no one can seem to help me. I am about to switch providers! Please help.
