Can I downgrade to pay as you go?

Hi. Any advice on whether I can move from a monthly plan to a Pay-as-you-go? The only issue is this is not possible via self service. I'm tempted to end my koodo plan entirely but would prefer to stay as there has been no issue aside from the cost.

You can, yes.

You’ll have to visit a store and purchase a prepaid sim card first. Then you can activate it following the instructions on the back of the sim card or the rep at the store may be able to do it all for you right there as well.

To clarify, once your prepaid account is active or during the activation process, you can port your koodo monthly plan to the prepaid sim.  This will close your monthly account and your prepaid account will be active with your old phone number.
