I ported to Koodo on Friday and wifi calling will not activate on my iPhone. Returns an error saying to contact Koodo to allow.
I am traveling outside of Ca/US. I am receiving voice messages into my phone but when trying to access those, I am asked for a password. I tried my pin for password but it keeps saying ‘invalid entry’. Now my voice mailbox is locked from too many trials. How do I reset my voicemail password, unlock the account, and access the messages? FYI, it never asked me for a password when I was inside of Canada. Is it only a roaming feature?
My mobile data was hit or miss after I received a new sim card. A lot of websites simply refused to load. After doing some research I came to the conclusion some of the settings were erroneous.MMSC = http://aliasredirect.net/proxy/koodo/mmsc on the site, however if you remove the koodo part it’s one of the corrections. Also changed APN protocol to just IPv4. Very happy with the service now.Hope this helps those with similar issues.
Hello.I recently ordered and received a refurbished phone but no charger was sent? Are chargers not included with a refurbished phone?
I need to talk to someone about my activation. I did not want my number changed but my account has a completely different number than the one I want transferred over. I do not want to instal my new sim card in the fear that my old number will be lost forever. Thank you

My data usage has suddenly gone from about 5mb per day to 3 gig in 8 days.Any suggestions?
AS the title suggests, my WiFi calling just stopped working on my galaxy S21. It was working flawlessly for months and just quit. I’ve cleared cache, restarted phone, reset WiFi, but still nothing.Has anyone else experienced this issue?
3 days old Samsung S23 FE purchased to replace my aged S20 FE 5G because the 5G never did worked on that phone. Quite happy with this new phone EXCEPT I need WiFi Calling, ie: VoLTE. Apparently this “upgraded” phone doesn’t include this feature. Does Koodo have to activate this for me? There on no answers to this on Self Serve and no apparent way to contact a tech support person.Anyone have any ideas?
I was at the store on Nov 27 and the rep helped open my Koodo account and ported two lines from Fido to Koodo. I only noticed yesterday that I haven’t been able to receive text messages all this time. People can receive my texts ok but I didn’t receive any of their messages. I tried all the troubleshooting steps and nothing works. Need help please. Data and calling are ok.
I am from Ontario but currently living overseas. I am returning home to take up a new job and I am trying to sign up for a new service with Koodo.I did the initial online process of picking my plan/phone etc and it was accepted/charged to my card.I then got an email saying that the process is stalled as I need to schedule a callback to verify my information.Koodo specifically says they won’t call an international number and I do not have a Canadian number as I have been overseas for a number of years.I have tried emailing but received no response. Can anyone let me know what info they might be trying to verify, how they do so, and if it would be possible to do so via email and/or authorize someone else (a family member residing in Canada) to verify information on my behalf? Thanks!
It seems to be a systemic problem here that Koodo won’t actually post the solution to…I am trying to purchase a phone online and have it shipped to a location that is NOT my billing address. I spoke with Customer Service and they said, “Sure, no problem.. the online order dept can do that for you”.Once I was transferred over to the online order dept., they said, “No, I cannot do that for you”. … and when I asked how do we change the location to where the phone gets shipped, he said I can’t.So, there is no way to separate my billing and shipping address?I can't get a phone shipped?… without changing my billing address?I can’t even get a phone shipped for pickup to one of their stores??This seems to be a bit prohibitive, and really should be a way around this…. Any Suggestions??
Hi I signed up online on 27th November and ordered a sim . Neither I have received the si nor any information about it.when I try to log in my password doesn't work.if I have tried password reset several times but I don't receive any email for instructions on the registered email.everytime I try forgotten password I am told that an email has been sent but I don't receive anything.
Is it possible for me to retrieve a phone message that I didn’t save?
I have the Samsung S20 FE 5G 5G phone and switched to a 5G plan. From others that already posted there is no fix?Correct? My question is that if the issue does not get resolved what happened to my speed….I switch away from my plan with speed boost ( thinking I was going to get 5G speed)….I see 4G/ LTE and LTE plus( top 4G speed?) show up on my phone. Does anyone have an answer? Have i lost speed not having speed boost? thanks!
I can receive email to text on my phone from my employer (yay!) but when I try to send a test email from outlook on my laptop, it doesn’t go through. Last night, I thought I’d try to send an email from my gmail account instead of through outlook, and it went through!I thought I’d share this discovery, in case anyone else is having trouble doing this. Also, to see if there is a setting somewhere in my outlook that I may be missing which is preventing these emails to get through to my phone? Thanks
Been trying to track down this problem for months on and off as time allows. As the title says, internet using cell data works on the phone. Hotspot, when enabled, allows other devices to tether, but no tethered devices has internet access through the hotspot. A breakthrough today that only makes things more confusing...In my APN settings, I have an APN called Koodo (editable) and another called Koodo Tether (not editable), and if I delete the Koodo APN leaving only Koodo Tether, internet connectivity through the hotspot comes back.Of course, by deleting the Koodo APN, I lose 4G and LTE access until I reinstate that APN either manually or by re-loading from default names, however.(Also, I cannot add “dun” (APN Type under Koodo Tether) to the APN type under the APN Koodo - it says carrier does not allow it; although I can imagine there are very good reasons for this limitation )What am I missing?
I recently upgraded my plan from 4G/LTE to 5G. I’ve read that I need to go into connections/mobile networks/network mode and select 5g but the only options I have listed involve LTE/WCDMA/GSM. Do I need a new SIM card?
I switched to a 5G plan from a 4G plan and traded 5 gigabytes away for this process. Now I am only receiving LTE at 48 megabytes per second. Very disappointing. Is this part of the way things are promised? One thing receive another. I reset my phone. Took out the SIM card. When I first reset my phone it did show 5G for about 3 seconds and then went back to LTE
Hello!I’ve switched to the new 5G plan, but the phone still shows LTE or LTE+ only.I’ve done so far:Rebooted the phone Reinserted the sim card Reset network settings Turned airplaine mode on and off.The phone is fully updated. It shows 5G selected under Preferred network type, but it shows only LTE under data network type when I dial *#*#4636#*#*.Any suggestions how to fix it?Thanks.
I switched from Koodo to freedom last March 2022, worst decision, and I want to switch back to Koodo. I'm locked in till March next year but anyone know if I can get out earlier?
Hello, I changed to a 5G Plan, but my device is still only connecting to LTE. Device is a iPhone 13 using a Physical SIM. 5G is set to “5G On” in settings, and I’ve tried restarting multiple times, along with doing multiple “Reset Network Settings”, along with removing and inserting the SIM a few times. Still nothing… The speeds on LTE are horrendous getting 10Mbps down/up while getting 5 bars, and being able to see the Cell Tower from my window. If I put the SIM from my work phone that’s on Telus, it connects to 5G just fine, so I doubt it’s a coverage issue Koodo support has been hopeless so far…
I switched to a Koodo 5G plan. Not connecting to the 5G Network. I am(clearly) in a 5G coverage area according to the Koodo map.My phone is a Samsung S22. Turnedoff the power saving mode. Set Network mode to 5G. It has check mark.Restarted the the phone. Removed the Sim Card and cleared the Sim Toolkit Cache. When toggling Airplane Mode is shows 5G for 1 second and then reverts back to LTE.Trying to get a Koodo Callback failed . The "chat" goes endlessly in questions and suggestions. My wife's phone, also S22 has the same problem. What could be the problem and how to solve it?Thanks for listening
Hello! While going through the process of porting a Bell landline to the Koodo wireless home phone, I found that there weren’t any instructions available specifically for this situation. When I asked a rep, they sent me the instructions for porting a cell #, which are quite a bit different after the first few steps. Here are the steps I followed for the landline port in November 2023.Do not cancel your Bell home phone line! Go to koodo.com/changenumber. Log into self service. Select “Transfer your number from another provider”. Enter landline number to be ported. You will be directed to go to the virtual assistant KoodoAssist and type #porthelp. You will then be asked to choose a time for a call back from a rep. Note: depending on how busy they are, this could be same day or next day or two, so be prepared for the extra time. Koodo needs the following information from the landline account for the port: Name on account, address on account, account number. Note: a rural address can
