Hello, I am helping a family member get their first cell phone. The plan is to purchase a phone outright (from Koodo) and then go on a koodo month to month plan. They are not existing koodo members. They requested to keep their current phone number (landline, not with koodo) but transfer it to their new cell phone. Based on what I could find on the website this is something that an be done. Does anyone have experience with this and can explain the process to me so I can prepare my family member to do it? (Assuming it’s not something I can do on their behalf?). Any advice is appreciated. 

Hi,Posting this for a friend as he doesn’t have a Koodo account. Tried getting the Stream+ subscriptions online but didn’t get any activation email despite payment made. Need either the subscription or process refund. How do I get in touch with a live agent who can sort this out? Thanks

HiI'm going to Mexico 1 week vacationI don't think I'll be needing roaming while in the resort assuming wifi is readily available... but would like roaming when I'm out sightseeing.Is it possible to roam on and off? Or once start roaming, it wont stop until I'm back in Canada?$16 per day for 7 days is lot of money....

I received a call from someone claiming to be from Koodo, offering me a $25 discount on the home internet plan (slightly better than the $21 discount offered online. But only available over the phone). I told him I would prefer to contact koodo directly as I'm uncomfortable giving out any personal information over a cold call. Is this legit? He scheduled a callback for tomorrow but I'm wary it might be a scam. Is this legit? Is there a number I can use to reach koodo directly? 

I got the Amazon prime deal for 3 months for free. Now I'd like to do the stream plus deal, but it won't link my Amazon account because I have an existing account. But it wants me to get in touch with Amazon, but Amazon Says I need to get in touch with koodo... 

Hi Koodo Rep, I wanted to change my plan since currently i am being charged 65CAD for a 4g plan. I tried changing it but all the options i see are 65 for 100GB and 65 for 75GB something like that. I barely use 10GB of data and want to reduce my phone bill. I need a cheaper plan but I can't see anything else. I like kodoo service and don't want to switch to another carrier if I don't have to.  

Hi I have a basic $30 monthly unlimited canada wide plan. Are there fees if I answer incoming calls from the USA while I'm at home in canada?

Hello All,I have paid through Koodo for Amazon Prime March 25 - April 24.Also signed up for Streaming+ with payment already processed March 31.Will I be refunded for Koodo Amazon Prime?Also is Streaming paid through Koodo or direct to Credit Card?Thank you !

Good day to all,I have an existing Koodo Prime membership billed through Koodo. Now have signed up for Stream+. It seems I have been double billed as initial sign up payment has gone through for Stream and have been billed Amazon 9.99 through Koodo on my bill. Noticed Prime is not activated but Disney/Netflix is. If I try and activate it goes to Amazon stating Im already a member. How does this work do I have to remove Prime as an add on?  

I tried searching Koodo's FAQ but I couldn't find anything (or I couldn't use the right search terms)Basically - If I travel somewhere and put my phone in Airplane mode for a week (or two weeks) and someone sends me a text message on the first day I leave...Will I receive that text message when I turn Airplane mode off? (And if so - does anyone know how long those messages are cached for?)Thanks!

I have two lines on my account. One phone is continuing to show message usage but the other one is not. Is there a way to stop showing the message usage in the self serve option? How would someone stop their messages from showing up in the usage? 

Hello Guys, Any idea how can I add my business name on every invoice so that I could claim my phone plan as a company expense. 

I just switched from Rogers to Koodo today. Left the kiosk thinking everything was good to go only to find out I cannot send or recieve text messages. I have done all the steps recommended and still not working. I can make and recieve phone calls and use other messaging apps. I also have not recieved any sort of welcoming email. I cannot register my account as I can get the code they text to set it up. Help

If I change my plan and select the unlimited long distance pack, can I then call the US without charge.Also what if my other cell is in the US, but they do not have the plan, do they get charged?Please help explain this to me - not sure how this works.Thansk 

I have subscribed to the Stream+ Bundle and have read many help articles, FAQs and forum posts, but I cannot seem to link my Prime account. I have disconnected my subscription from Google Play and been in touch with Amazon support twice, they are unable to help at this time. I just get the usual “existing prime members are ineligible for this promotion” error. When I spoke to the last help agent, they told me my membership must be handled by the 3rd party.What is the trouble with the account linking? Can you help please?

Hi, I just signed up for Stream+ Basic that comes with Disney+ Basic with ads.  I have an existing Disney+ Premium subscription that is paid up until July 2024 so I would like to continue using this and then cancel at that time.Does the Koodo Stream+ Activation method for these services expire after a certain time; ie will I still be able to activate Disney+ Basic in July?

I’m getting charged for a device protection plan though my banking app, but it doesn’t show on my Koodo account that I pay for it! How would I contact Koodo to help me with that. I do not want the plan because they have been charging me more and more money for it. 

I have been going back and forth on and off of phone trying to apply a tax exemption on the Subscription based Stream+. It seems like a lot of the support techs do not know of this subscription based Steam+ option. I emailed the Tax Exemption Department asking to apply the tax exemption to my Stream+ Subscription and they are telling me to add Stream+ as an Add-On to my regular phone bill. There are 2 different services with the same name which makes this very frustrating and confusing for both the customer and seemingly the support. The separate subscription model has Prime, Disney+ and Netflix. The Add-on version has Netflix, AppleTV and Discovery+.Can I go through this thread to escalate this matter? Since its not an add-on to my current phone plan and billed separately as a monthly subscription, it will need to be applied to that separately.

I have the $15/month prepaid plan (unlimited texts, 100 Canada minutes, and 250 MB) on my iPhone 11 (model A2111) running iOS 17.4.1. (I just changed to that plan today from an older form of $15/month that didn’t include the minutes.) I understand that in order to be certain that the US roaming boosters will work when I travel to the States next month, I need to have VoLTE activated. The support chatbot says that as of February 2023 VoLTE is being enabled for prepaid customers, but I’ve been a prepaid customer for more than ten years, and I still don’t have it. When I go to Settings --> Cellular → Cellular Data Options → Voice and Data, the only two options shown are LTE (which is selected) and 3G. I have tried resetting my voicemail PIN, but that didn’t help. How can I get VoLTE enabled on my line?

I have seen a few different answers online regarding Motorola Edge 2023 esim compatibility. Some say yes and some say no. Does anyone actually know? I will be travelling Europe this summer and I need an esim compatible phone. Thanks!!! 

I have a koodo phone plan that i pay for through my bank account after i am billed.   Im wanting to start a koodo internet service but i would like the same payment method,  not auto payment from my credit card.  How do i go about this?
