I have an iphone 12. When I go to settings to create a hot spot, it says it cannot and that I should contact Koodo. As I am sure you are aware, there is no way to speak to someone at Koodo. Any suggestions?
I was issued a new phone number, activated my new account 24 hours ago and installed the new SIM earlier today after receiving it in the mail. The SIM card matches what is in my self service profile. I continue to see a “No Service” status. Airplane mode is off, Do Not Disturb mode is off, I have removed and re-installed the SIM card, reset my network settings, restarted the phone and still do not have any service on my iPhone SE (2020). What else have I forgotten to do?
I had a repair done on my phone, and was given $100 off i I activated with koodo. I was to cancel within 14 day trial period to avoid being charged. I am trying to activate, but I get stuck at this screen.
Hi Folks,I’ve got a Pixel 4a and my wife is using a OnePlus 7T. I’ve enabled EasyRoam with KooDoo for both our numbers. On the devices, I have enabled Roaming for the KooDoo SIMs.But, I am unable to send out any texts on SMS on the Google Pixel 4a.I’m can send out test texts from the OnePlus to the Pixel, and the Pixel recives the test. But I texts do not go out from the Pixel to the OnePlus. What have I configured this incorrectly?TIA
Screen stuck on pick new phone/add new line page. Can anyone help me?
Anyone know why I never have internet when the power in my area goes out? The last time, I also had issues with texting anyone. Can't check on power outage status let alone report the outage without internet.
I have followed all of the steps to transfer my phone number to Koodo, it says it will take up to 2.5 hours. That was 5 hours ago and I currently cant even send SMS messages to anyone I also don’t receive messages if any are sent to me. I DO have the new Koodo sim card in my phone. It is VERY important that this process is complete before tomorrow as I am expecting a very important phone call. I have since called my old provider and they said that for some reason they didn’t get the “yes” confirmation text and I have to redo the whole process. The problem now is that self serve still says the transfer is in progress and there is no way for me to cancel it so I can start over.
I’ve read up on the subject on Koodo, Telus, XDA, and other websites. My OnePlus 6 has volte and vowifi enabled. My APNs and all settings are setup properly. My SIM is ok for LTE.My Koodo account shows volte as an add-on.But volte does not work. It drops to 3G/H when I make a call.Going into my phone’s *#*#4636#*#* testing menu / phone information, it shows IMS Status / Registration as “not registered”. Who can I contact to whitelist my IMEI so that I can use volte and vowifi? I don’t want to call regular customer service because they will likely give me the runaround that they’ve given many other people (“incompatible device”) or not know what I’m talking about. I require a higher level technician or engineer.BTW, I also have an LG V30 that has the same problem, yet it’s even on the Koodo list of supported devices! H933 Canada model. It was bought via Bell. My wife’s Samsung S10 (bought from Koodo) has volte and vowifi working perfectly (the testing menu shows IMS as being registered
For few days my data is very slow. Websites will not even load. Its only if I disaable my VPN that data works. I was told by customer service that Koodo does not support VPNs but it always worked in past. Anyone else have this issue? What can be done?
A friend escaping a BAD relationship notes "I hate that even after you block someone on your iPhone they can STILL leave voicemails. Their number doesn’t show up on your call display, your voicemail counter doesn’t show you have a message but when you check your messages, SURPRISE!" Any help to block this caller would be appreciated. I recognize if he changes his source phone # we are SOL. But if he uses his normal phone surely we can block him from VM. Thanks!iPhone 8+

Hi all.So, my wife’s iPhone 12 can receive messages with photos via MMS, but she can’t send them. She always gets this error: “Cannot send message. MMS nneds to be enabled to send this message.“ Sending texts without photos works fine.I’ve thoroughly checked her settings. MMS is turned on. So is cellular data. So is data roaming. It’s not on airplane mode. She’s adequately connected to a network (three or four bars). Cellular data works fine when internet browsing or when sending or receiving iMessages with photos when connected to a cellular network. I’ve rebooted the phone. I’ve reset network settings.Yet the problem persists.Any advice?
the short version - my voicemail is not working, koodo says it should be working. yet no one can leave a message, and i cannot retrieve the messages. the long version - My friends and family cannot leave me a voicemail. When they call me, it either goes to a busy type signal or “this person is not available” type message. I am currently out of country (in Mexico). I checked my voicemail about 10 days ago by calling my number (from a different phone in Mexico) and entering my password when my voicemail answered. My mailbox was empty at that time. Yesterday was the first day I tried to use my koodo sim in Mexico. The first call I tried to make was to my voicemail by pressing 1. The call failed due to ‘call barring’ which I understand might be a koodo hates samsung sort of thing (still under review). Hopefully they will refund my easyroam charge from yesterday as I was unable to receive an important phone call due to the voice issues on my easyroam. I then assumed not being able to acc
Hello Guys,I use this android phone ( android version 8 ), can’t send a picture text msg although data is open. The text app that came with the phone is from google play. can’t see APN settings on this phone...your help is appreciatedThanks
I’m travelling. Data paused at 100%.I want to upgrade my plan and get a new phone. Will the new plan be on my current phone (and with data started back up) until i get home to set up the new phone?
Had an issue with the Data Access Network when I changed SIM card. Did all the fixes stated including Network Reset, reinserting SIM, etc. Fix was that the SIM card was still somehow linked to the profile that was set on the previous SIM card (used in the Japan). Fix was to go to Settings/General/VPN and Device Management. Delete the profile that is linked to the old SIM card, in my case Docomo. Rebooted and fixed. Have an iPhone SE.
I switched from a Moto G7 to Samsung S21 FE phone. The G7 has a switch in the network settings to allow the ability to read MMS messages without Data being enabled. This worked automatically.I put the SIM in the S21 and I can’t seem to find a similar setting on the new phone and the only way I can read a MMS message is to manually enable Data, which I prefer not having to do each time.APN settings are set on the new phone as per https://www.koodomobile.com/en/help/setting-data-your-non-koodo-phone?search_api_views_article_search_fulltext=apn%20settingsAny idea how I can get this to work on the S21?
Got a new SIM card from koodo, but it came as a Telus card. Installed in my son's iPhone 7 and it doesn't work. Did the new sim card thing where I changed the number, reset my network settings, and restarted the phone. Nothing. And all of a sudden there's no one to talk to. This is beyond frustrating. Plz help. Thank you.
I got a new SIM card(monthly-billed) for an ASUS Zenfone 5Z that was working fine on Fizz network(unlocked phone, not bought from Fizz). I transferred my old phone number from Fizz to Koodo and the transfer did work as my self-serve account phone number is now my old phone number but I did not received the welcome SMS from Koodo. When I put my new SIM card in my phone, I had 3 APNs, Telus, Koodo and Public Mobile, none of them would connect to the network, ‘Emergency Calls Only” is displayed on top left corner. I made a new APN as per the “Setting up data on a non-Koodo phone” page, won’t connect. Airplane mode is off, Do Not Disturb mode is off, I removed and re-installed the SIM card, reset my network settings, restarted the phone, switched it off-on, etc still no luck. Tried making new APNs with Koodo APN settings from the web, nothing is working. I put the Koodo SIM in a Samsung A13 and still no network. Thanks for your help
Yesterday everything was working fine, able to send and receive MMS. Then started seeing MMS as "New message available for download" but could not download. Confirmed was able to send MMS without issue. Checked, removed, and readded Koodo APN, did not work. Using Google Messages, uninstalled and reinstalled, did not work. Checked default messaging app, same issue. Restarting phone did not work. Removing SIM and reinstalling did not work. installing SIM into different slot did not work. Reset network, did not work.Oneplus 7 Pro, Android 11 (Oxygen 11.0.8.1.GM21AA)
Hello!!! I travelled to Ireland in June and even though I have easy roam, my phone was unable to connect to data. I could only use wifi when it was available. This has never happened in all the countries I’ve visited. It was stressful and unsafe - not being able to use my phone when outside of a wifi zone. I could not even call Koodo or anything because data was not connecting. I had my data roaming on and everything, I’ve done this so many times but it just did not work in Ireland. Thoughts? I should mention that this was the first time travelling with my new iPhone, which I purchased directly from Apple and not from Koodo-my previous phones were purchased directly from Koodo. Not sure if that makes a difference? Nothing has changed with my Koodo plan.
Hi,My phone calls keep getting dropped and the audio is really scratchy. Can you help me determine what the issue is? thanks,k
What can I do if I keep getting text messages with downloads to my number. I just got the number a week ago, and have not gave the number to anyone yet.
Hello, I want to block all international calls calling me. How do I do that?
Hi, spoke with Koodo regarding transferring my Bell landline to Koodo mobile phone. the rep said they did all on their end and that I have to call Bell withing 24 hours to give them my permission for the transfer or the transfer will be cancelled. I called Bell, the lady said I didnt have to call because the process is automatic: as soon as the number has been transferred, it is automatically cancelled at Bell. The only thing she can do is to cancel the line. I was not sure it is the right thing to do. My cell phone has the transferred number, can call and receive calls. Should I still call Bell to cancel it or just wait (how long?) thanks,
