Hello Everyone,Ive set the Call setting, Forward when busy last week and it was working great until today. It seems to have reset itself back to the default settings. Anyone know why this happened? Im on a Galaxy S22.
My friend tried to call me this week and she said she wasn’t able to so I’m wondering if her number is a long distance number it starts with 1-906 would that be considered a long distance number outside of Canada?
Galaxy S20 using Google Messages app is regularly failing to send & receive SMS / text messages. When trying to send “Not delivered yet, tap for options” appears and “Message delivers when xxx is online...”, which makes no sense. My phone should send it now and the recipient can get it whenever they’re ready. It’s not my problem when they’re online. Also gives “Tap to download” instead of simply downloading my SMS messages sent to me. Tapping does not download the message. Sometimes restarting the phone will relieve the constipation. This problem only seems to happen on WiFi calling. I don’t know if it’s the phone, the app, or KoodoMobile. Any ideas?
I’m looking to upgrade to the S23 with Tab. Am I reading this correctly? $25 per month for 24 months then the phone is paid for in full? I understand I will have to upgrade to Tab plus which is $55 per month. I don’t want to get lost in the fine print. TSYM everyone :)
I recently switched from Bell to Koodo and since then have been missing iMessages. It happens randomly and the only reason I know they have happened is because I get notices on my Apple Watch (which does not have cellular).can you help? I saw someone post about this before and said it was an issue on Koodo side
got a CPO iphone on Apr 2023, now I’m having issues with it. unable to call caller when not on speaker, tried restart and reset plus changing case/screen protector. i’m not sure if koodoo online still covers it for repair or returned if i didnt buy the device care, i checked through apple too, theres no apple care avail.
S23+ with 512 GBI have noticed that the retail price quoted by Koodo, and therefore the calculated “tab bonus”, are not accurate. The Tab Bonus is calculated at $672 but it is really only $307.Your new phone:Phone: SAMSUNG GALAXY S23 PLUS 512 GREENSerial #: 354206310215483Cost of your phone:Full Retail price: $1,925.00Total Tab amount: -$792.00Tab Bonus: -$672.00Your upfront phone cost*: $461.00 The Tab Bonus is inflated by $365 - Koodo quotes a "Retail Price" of $1,925 but Samsung regular price is $1,559.99. By the way, this phone is on sale and the sale price is even less at $1,419.99.See here:https://www.samsung.com/ca/smartphones/galaxy-s23/buy/
For the past several weeks I’ve been noticing issues with call control. Normally, to my understanding, a caller only needs to pass the call control once. Now however, callers are being asked to pass the check randomly. My wife who calls me several times a week has had to perform this gymnastic exercise several times. Today, a client called me in the morning and then after calling me later, they texted to say they couldn’t reach me because the call was blocked. Are there known issues with call control or what can I do to correct this? I’m using my phone to run a business and I know this is effecting my clients ability to contact me…
I recently upgraded my phone with Tab. The phone I upgraded to was my second choice, as my first choice was out of stock. A few days after ordering, the phone wanted more came back into stock, so I’ve initiated the return process for the first phone. I want to get the phone I actually want ASAP, and my understanding is that I can’t order it until my tab balance reads zero.My question is, if I pay off my Tab in a lump sum and go through with the return, what will happen with my account? Will I get a refund of the money I used to pay off the Tab? Will my account have a positive balance that I can use to pay the new tab?
Hello, my situation is:I am looking to purchase an iphone 12 online at retail prices to retain my current plan. Due to an accounting error on my end I have been overpaying my monthly services which has resulted to a credit on the account.I intend to use this credit for this purchase as it covers the full cost of the phone at retail.I unfortunately cannot complete the order without providing my credit card info to complete the purchase.I have scheduled a callback but trying my luck asking here.
Hello - Im considering changing from Bell to Koodo and unsure if my phone is compatible. I bought it at Bell and it is an iPhone Xr. Would it work with a Koodo SIM Card?
I'm looking at purchasing a new phone and the page says there is "up to $188 in bill credit" is this a guaranteed amount, or how will I know how much I actualy receive in credit?
I just signed up with Koodo and have UL US LD. I cannot access a US number. I talked with the local sales person, he tried my SIM card,,, changed a few settings, etc. with no luck. Previously, with Rogers, I could access this number (1 667 770 1400). The number is a teleconference hub. I will have to cancel my Koodoo account if I cannot reach this number. i
Bonjour, If i turn off the roaming while i’m in the USA, will i still receive text and phone calls? My plan is not to answer, just see who is trying to contact me.
My daughter is in Spain for a month for an exchange, and her host got her a local SIM card to use while she was there. It was cheap and works great (8 euros for 22 GB or something). My concern is she reported that when she started up the phone with the new temporary SIM, she received a SMS from… Koodo? (I’m not sure), saying that (and I’m paraphrasing here) after 29 more days her current phone number with Koodo would be lost.Does this make sense? If you swap out the Koodo SIM for a month, do you lose the Koodo phone number or is there some other problem with using a local SIM card while traveling for an extended time? Easy Roam is crazy expensive compared to local European plans.
Hello!I have Samsung S21 FE that I bought from Koodo a year ago and Koodo sim card.I trying to add eSim as a second mobile network of my country of origin (to receive some text messages), but I can not find “Sim Card Manager” option in my settings. Quick googling gives me an answer that it can be lock\hidden by the carrier. Is it possible to unhide?
I just switched my mobile service provider from Freedom to Koodo on the 16th of this month. However, until now, I can only make outgoing calls but cannot receive any calls. Any calls made to my number go directly to voicemail. My text messaging is also not working, so I cannot receive or send messages. This prevents me from using my online banking. I have tried using different phones and restarting, but these issues still persist.
I just switched to Koodo and cannot send or receive text messages on my galaxy A8 but I can send and receive calls
I have 4 lines on my account and I can only view calls on two of them. When I try I get a message that says this.
I posted on the koodo Mobile forum because of my frustration that Cubot has not programmed for All 4G LTE and 3G bands for their line up of 4 inch smartphone such as the Cubot J10, Cubot kingkong mini 2 and Cubot Pocket smartphones. I get these smartphones on aliexpress.com. I am going to cave and buy a $110 Cubot Kingkong mini 2 even though it is not finished programming I have emailed Cubot once a month for the past 13 months to ask when Victor gets coverage for the essential 4G LTE bands for the Cubot . I even asked my asked my electrical engineer Friend Chenbuke at Rogers when the Cubot Pocket is fully supported there. I complained to Nokia corporation and their former 3G HSPA+ network programmer Keanu reeves. I told Asus Taiwan about the 4 inch smartphone and they say they will make it. I told Nvidia CEO Haung Jensen and he offered a grant to the first programmer that successfully programed 4G LTE for the Cubot smartphones My friend Deacon Dan tried to use a Cubot J10 says
Hi all,I have some voicemails that I need to permanently save on a computer and/or storage device, so that I can delete them off of Koodo voicemail. The voicemais are large in size and take up almost all the voicemail space allocated to me.How do I go about doing that?
(Currently using the Xiaomi Pocophone F1)After switching from Fido to Koodo, I am unable to open most of my apps such as BMO app, chrome, bacon reader, twitter, my phone updater and most other game apps when using data. However apps such as youtube, gmail and instagram works fine.I have checked all my data settings and found that it is indeed turned on and turned off by mistake. I have even done a full wipe and factory reset on my phone. Tried removing and reinserting the SIM card, which after doing so broke a few more apps altogether making it worse.I have even reset and tried creating multiple access point and the various fixes for the APN and MMS ports and so forth. My only solution was to download 1.1.1.1 App by cloudflare and after turning it on and “securing” my connection all my apps now works on data. But doing so slows down my data connection since I am going through a VPN. Everything also works fine without the VPN when using WiFiI wholeheartedly believe that the issue is from
Phone having problems connecting to mobile data after hours of WiFi.That started a few days ago. Voice works OK.Needs rebooting several times to eventually get data. Is it just my phone or a common issue ? Thanks
I activated call control and it has worked well to deter unwanted telemarketing calls, but recently, in the last two days, it has authorized two calls with the caller id of 'a2' through the screening process. What does this 'a2' mean and how did it get through without having to identify a phone number?
