I just switched to Koodo and cannot send or receive text messages on my galaxy A8 but I can send and receive calls

I have 4 lines on my account and I can only view calls on two of them. When I try I get a message that says this. 

I posted on the koodo Mobile forum because of my frustration that Cubot has not programmed for All 4G LTE and 3G bands for their line up of 4 inch smartphone such as the Cubot J10, Cubot kingkong mini 2 and Cubot Pocket smartphones. I get these smartphones on aliexpress.com.  I am going to cave  and buy a $110 Cubot Kingkong mini 2 even though it is not finished programming  I have emailed Cubot once a month for the past 13 months to ask when Victor gets coverage for the essential 4G LTE bands for the Cubot . I even asked my asked my electrical engineer Friend Chenbuke at Rogers when the Cubot Pocket is fully supported there. I complained to Nokia corporation and their former 3G HSPA+ network  programmer Keanu reeves. I told Asus Taiwan about the 4 inch smartphone and they say they will make it.   I told Nvidia CEO Haung Jensen and he offered a grant  to the first programmer that successfully programed 4G LTE for the Cubot smartphones

Hi all,I have some voicemails that I need to permanently save on a computer and/or storage device, so that I can delete them off of Koodo voicemail. The voicemais are large in size and take up almost all the voicemail space allocated to me.How do I go about doing that?

(Currently using the Xiaomi Pocophone F1)After switching from Fido to Koodo, I am unable to open most of my apps such as BMO app, chrome, bacon reader, twitter, my phone updater and most other game apps when using data.However apps such as youtube, gmail and instagram works fine.I have checked all my data settings and found that it is indeed turned on and turned off by mistake. I have even done a full wipe and factory reset on my phone. Tried removing and reinserting the SIM card, which after doing so broke a few more apps altogether making it worse.I have even reset and tried creating multiple access point and the various fixes for the APN and MMS ports and so forth.My only solution was to download 1.1.1.1 App by cloudflare and after turning it on and “securing” my connection all my apps now works on data. But doing so slows down my data connection since I am going through a VPN

Phone having problems connecting to mobile data after hours of WiFi.That started a few days ago. Voice works OK.Needs rebooting several times to eventually get data. Is it just my phone or a common issue ? Thanks

I activated call control and it has worked well to deter unwanted telemarketing calls, but recently, in the last two days, it has authorized two calls with the caller id of 'a2' through the screening process. What does this 'a2' mean and how did it get through without having to identify a phone number? 

I’ in Dominican Republic, on vacationI have VOIP service at home in Canada, which I can acess via WiFi.However, when I call my number and dial “1” when I hear my message, I’m asked for a “callback number”.I don’t want someone to call me back!I just want to access my voicemail!What should I do???thanks

Why is my koodo phone number always rejected when I try to use it register for anything online.I always get "invalid phone number" response when I try to apply for jobs and register for important services.Please help me. I have 2 numbers on my profile with the same issue.

Yesterday I had a Telus sim and I could send and receive photos in my messages.  Today I have Koodo sim and I have to turn on my data in order to send and receive photos in my messages.  What needs to be done so I don’t have to keep turning my data on and off?

My Koodo Home Phone was working fine this afternoon. I was away from the unit, and when I came back to it, there is nothing but a Red Y - no bars whatsoever. My cellphone also has no bars. What the heck is going on?? I’m seriously thinking of using another carrier, as getting support for Koodo is basically non-existent. It’s ridiculous.And before you tell me to unhook the home phone and wait and reconnect it, I’ve done that twice already and it doesn’t work. I checked my cellphone to find that there are no bars on it either. Can someone please help with this?

Hi Friends,One of my two cellular line’s data isn’t working since yesterday. The plan cycle resets on the 11th, and definitely data isn’t used it up Already restarted the phone and settings. When I’m at home, it connects to wifi and it works perfectly fine. What are some options to get support from koodo? (I’ve sent them a message on facebook per their group) Thanks! 

I keep getting spam call from China with +86 country code phone number. However, the number keep changing so call control is not working. Is any way I can just block all call from China?

I am currently in Spain with easy roam on but am unable to receive SMS texts. The issue I have is that my voicemail has also been locked, and Koodo is trying to send me an SMS with the new password which I can't receive. Can someone help me either set up the phone to receive SMS or could someone at Koodo reset the voicemail password and email me the new code to the email that I have registered on KOODO.?

Message from Koodo - old Nokia flip phone getting too old and will stop working sometime in 2023, called Koodo and had them ship me their TCL flip phone, arrived today,  Nokia sim to large for the TCL, paired the phones but when I try the phone switch/selecting the TCL as the paired device I get “service not supported by other device, so far I have been unable to get the contacts from old phone to new one, any ideas other than manually putting in the contacts

Hello! I  bought 2 separate SIM cards for BYOP. Can I cancel one right away without using it? Or will i still have to pay for the first bill? 

My voicemail hasn’t worked for the last several days. Every time I attempt to call it I either get an ‘Error performing request Unknown error’ message or it connects and is completely silent. When it connects and I end the call, I get a call failed message

I am an existing Koodo customer on 60 dollar plan. I want to buy Pixel 7a on tab but am concerned that it would result in a credit check. Will a credit check happen now? A check had already happened when I joined Koodo for the first time.

Can I buy a phone on tab with my wife's profile but use it with my sim?

I added the Stream+ add in yesterday and have waited 20 hrs to activate the streaming services. The stream+ menu under mobile services continues to read “service unavailable”Based on what I read as an existing customer I am being charged right away. I am also still waiting the email confirmation and information on how to activate the streaming services and heard nothing. No email received.

Will this model work on a 5G network when travelling in NZ?  Plan to purchase a local SIM card and not use Easy Roam service. 

Not receiving calls, but getting text messages. Recently started koodo- never got that text about porting the number. 

I tried ordering the pixel 7a and go through the entire process of entering credit card details and approving the purchase about 4 times and when the sms code is entered, a screen shows “Your choice is no longer available”. It’s a popular phone blah blah blah.  Anyone else having this issue right now?
