My 2 daughters have been having problems for the last week with either their call dropping after one ring or their text messages either not sending or not receiving. They have restarted phones and took sim cards out then put back in. Same thing happens, but comes and goes
HiI enabled on the phone and on the self serve portal. the VoLTE still doesn’t work. I have another provide on the same phone and it is working fine. See photo below.SIM1 - Koodo (not working)SIM2 - FIDO (working without any issue)
I'm technically a new Koodo customer. Returning customer is more accurate. I was with Rogers previously I ran a phone called a red magic 6r which ended up breaking and being sent in for repair. Upon return the phone could once again access data and roaming but sending and receiving sms was broken. After switching phones to a Xiaomi blackshark 4 I could receive but still not send. Now that I am back on Koodo I am having both problems again unfortunately and I would like to fix them promptly. I can't group message, send or receive pictures or videos despite having an international sms plan which is pointless if I can't message the group chat I was planning on being in contact with. I have added screenshots of the apn I believe but I only seem to put one photo in from my end I'll post and try and edit the second screenshot in
I currently have an account with a different provider. I am thinking about switching to Koodo, but I use it in some remote places with poor mobile coverage, so I want to make sure the coverage is at least as good as my old provider before I commit. What I’m thinking of doing is this:Sign up with Koodo and get a SIM and a new number Try it out for a while, while maintaining my old service as well for comparison If Koodo works well enough, then transfer my old number and cancel that account. If not, cancel my Koodo account. Is this possible, or do I have to transfer the number right from the beginning?
I have an older Samsung Galaxy ACE GT-S5830D phone loecked to Koodo. My account has been cancelled by me and inactive for more than. How do I unlock my phone so that I can use it with another provider?
I recently got a CPO iPhone 11 from the Koodo site. The problem is that my wallpaper keeps disappearing and I am left with a black background. The phone still works properly, and all of my apps are there.I have tried shutting off power, turning it back on. and my wallpaper comes back. A few minutes later the background just turns black again while I am using the phone. I performed the most recent software upgrade too.Any suggestions?
I purchased a new phone during a promotion where a bill credit of 189.84$ was offered with the phone (may 23 2023). During checkout it showed the bill credit being applied to my remaining tab balance of 132$. Now in the new month that credit has disappeared and replaced with the 132 tab upgrade fee.
Quel est le problème avec Koodo, ? Ca sonne un coup et ça raccroche !Plusieurs amis ont le même problème !Je commence à être tanné de ce bug !
eSIM is disabled on my phone, the option is not showing up. Please help me enable this.
Changed my last name and can't figure out how to change my name greeting for voicemail.
After 4+ years with Koodo and no problems I am suddenly having issues with sending texts. When texting the same person several times some will go through and others have to be resent. This just started yesterday and continues today. Is there an issue with Koodo? I have tried restarting my phone and it did nothing to help this problem.
Having problems with texts and making calls this afternoon. Reboot the phone - problems persist.Any ideas what’s up with the network?
Hi. I made a big idiot mistake when I picked up a new phone upgrade - which is to say I inserted the provided SIM card directly to the slot without the tray. Bad case of skipping important steps. It’s pretty snug in there, and so far the places I’ve reached out to have said the best they can do is try to pull it from the outside because of the way the phone model is made (Pixel 6a). I don’t see that working.I purchased the phone as an upgrade to my current one (also with Koodo). To be clear the old one works, it’s just sluggish with apps. That being the case: I’m not fully savvy on the upgrade process - theoretically, would my old phone be able to continue to function as my phone as-is, if the new one cannot be fixed? Or am I going to one day find out that my phone number has been “transferred” to a phone that hasn’t been properly activated?Basically- if the phone number is going to stay indefinitely on the old device, I will have more time to try to find someone that could deal with a
Can I convert my existing active prepaid SIM to an eSIM?If successful, can I replace the Koodo SIM with another provider’s SIM and alternate use of either SIM/eSIM? Has anybody done that successfully?
Ordered SIM card more than 2 weeks ago, never arrived. Being billed for service already. Customer service was extremely unhelpful and wouldn't send a new SIM. What are my options? Basically ready to cancel my credit card and find a legit mobile company at this point.
I can recieve calls and textsWhen I try to call....it's says "ringing" but the line is silent and nothing happensWhen I text...I get a failed message/cannot send. This has been happening all night.
When I send a text message I get trouble sending check option but the message is sent how do i clear this up its annoying
Myself and a number of people I text with are experiencing slow delivery time or a red box saying the message cannot be sent. Have to hit the resend button a couple of times to get it to send. All phones are Android in the Samsung galaxy series. Is anyone else experiencing this? Is there an issue with the system?
I tried to transfer from Phonbox to Koodo. But I am in stuck for 5days.and I got that email from Koodo.I am dongju beak and my phone number is 902 403 7539 Sir, after checking with the department in charge, it seems that you applied for port in to Koodo and received the above message. If you apply for Port In to the mobile carrier first, it becomes Port Protection and it is difficult to issue an account number. Therefore, please contact Kudo and cancel the port-in application. The port out process is currently in progress, and if you cancel the port in application to Kudo, the number transfer process will continue.Thank you.
I need to speak to a live human being after I have been wrongfully charged for roaming fees. when the callback came in and I hit ‘1’ to request to speak to an agent, it did not register. I was again prompted to hit 1 again with the same result and then again a third time. This happened with all 3 callbacks this evening and still have not spoken to anyone! This system is absolute garbage? Can anyone help?
I have a trip that’s going to take about 2 days to drive, I want to connect my phone to my car to listen to my music, it’s an older car.. 2009 Ford Focus 4 Door Sedan.. the car HAS Bluetooth, the car CAN connect to phones and devices, I can’t for the love of god get my phone to connect though. The car has a SYNC system with it’s Bluetooth where it gives a PIN and I’m supposed to find the Car/Device on my phone in the Bluetooth search and input the PIN, but my phone WON’T pick up the car’s Bluetooth Signal. Is my phone just too new for this car? As far as I can see, my phone doesn’t have the SYNC function, but I’m also not very tech savvy at all..Anyone help? Google isn’t helping.
Hello, Now that Telus and Koodo are supporting the Sim > eSim conversion, will it cost anything to move the eSim to a new phone?I just converted my SIM to and eSim thinking it would be easier to switch phone later this year but now it seems I have to pay for a new esim s it can be used on my new phone?can we confirm Quick Transfer works for Koodo AND Telus? https://www.telus.com/en/support/article/esim-voucherhttps://www.iphoneincanada.ca/2023/03/23/telus-convert-to-esim-iphone/thanks!B
I just noticed today in my Recent calls section that a call was made FROM my cellphone to a number that I don’t recognize (I.e., an outbound call that I didn’t make). It happened when I was at work and near my phone and I can confirm no one had physical access to it. It doesn’t look like it connected though, as there is no information about how long the call was. When I clicked on the number for more information, it showed that in the past month there were two other such outbound calls from my phone to the same number; the first one shows up that there was a 4 second connection. When I do a search for the number via Google, it says there is no information on that number. I’m concerned about calling the number myself in case it is a fraud thing. Any advice?
