I have a Motorola G7 and am a Koodo customer. I recently purchased Motorola G Pure while in the United States through the dealer Boast Mobile. I put the Sim card from the G7 into the Motorola G Pure and it shows Network locked. The display shows the unlocked padlock. I cannot use the phone or text messaging. Message says cellular network not available for voice calls.
Hey folks, My old SIM stopped working randomly. It was pretty old so I figured it had just lived its life.I got a new one to replace it, activated it and switched them. It worked for about 10 minutes and then suddenly stopped.I can’t phone Koodo to ask because, well, no SIM card. 😉I have two questions: Is there such thing as email support for Koodo? And, does anyone have any idea what might have happened here? Has anyone experienced this?(In case it matters, the phone is a Pixel 6)Thanks!megan
My Public Mobile phone shares the record of my calls and FaceTime of my Koodo phone. I had the SIM card in my Koodo phone removed for 7 weeks while on vacation and replaced with a SIM card from the destination. The Public Mobile phone displays the activity, phone and FaceTime of the other phone during the 7 week period when Koodo was not being used. They have 2 different account logins. Also, during the 7 weeks, the PublicMobile phone was left on as our home phone. It registered data and phone calls and no one was in the house and data usage, at 12:16 every night. Is there a phone number that I can use to call Koodo or should I call Telus? Why and how is the PM phone getting usage information from the Koodo phone?
I called tech support and didn’t get anywhere. Who can put me in touch with the Spam Filter gods at Telus/Koodo? Any help appreciated. Thanks,Daren
I just switched over to Koodo and had my number ported over. However, I cannot receive any texts and if I send texts, the other person doesn’t receive it. I have restarted my phone too. How can I fix this? I have an iPhone. TIA!
Why doesn't Koodo just allow us to type in our city instead of choosing from an incomplete menu? I live in a major city and it's not even listed. On a quick review I see many cities and towns missing from my province alone, so it’s an issue for hundreds of thousands of people. What should be quick and simple (log-in, enter new info, save, log-out) turns into a drawn out process of having to call a rep. There are many other posts in the community regarding simple address issues; why does Koodo make more problems and work for it's customers and themselves when it could be a simple fix?
I just transferred my number to Koodo and I’m having trouble receiving phone calls. I think I can still call and I believe my number appears on it? So I don’t know why this is happening. (Also I think I’m having issue sending/receiving SMS)Going through Koodo Assist is useless since it’s just a bot and keeps trying to schedule a callback, when I’m not in a position to receive any calls.
Every time I log into my Koodo account and click “Shop” to get to “wireless home phone” it says not available. Is it available or not?
I activated the lates update Android security patch Feb 1 and now my wifi calling will not activate. I get a security number and validation from my account but it will not complete service.I have a Samsung s10 and it was working fine before the update. Has something in the update stopped wif i calling
I’m a new Koodo customer. I signed up online and will be bringing my own phone and phone number. I am just waiting to receive my SIM card so I can set myself up with Koodo and port my phone number over. My question is that the service agreement sent to me has a phone number on it that is not mine. Is this a Koodo screw up or do they assign a temporary phone number for some reason until I port mine over? If it’s a temp number, it seems strange that they couldn’t put my actual number on the service agreement since that’s the number I will be using! I’m worried that I won’t be able to p set up my phone on Koodo properly. Can anyone hopefully set my mind at ease?Thank you!
I received an email from koodoservice@mail.koodomobile.comit says my son’s number is roaming on a USA network.I know exactly where he is and he is not even close to the states. is that a scam? And if so, what the hell?
I have been getting text messages since last June saying Koodo was making changes and my service was going to be impacted. I should mention I was with PC Mobile first but then Koodo took over, so I thought this had something to do with that. Got a text message even saying to visit a koodo shop if I needed assistance in making the necessary changes. So I thought this was all legit, so I created a new koodo account. However, when I log-in I cannot access anything. Got a bill the other day, it was way higher, so I’m freaking out, but then I get another bill and this amount looks correct. Has this happened to anyone else?
With the ‘new and improved’ ‘turndown’ created through Koodo - it created a ‘new account’ (which really ISN’T - just a new account #), I took a 31 point hit on my credit rating and don’t have any way of contacting Koodo to rectify this… (Went from ‘Excellent’ credit to ‘very good’ - I’ve worked damn hard to create an Excellent credit score after going bankrupt several year ago!!!)I think I will dispute it through TransUnion… although they aren’t very user friendly either...
So, im in the process of taking Ottawa to court. i need phone records for the last 4 years. where can i download the PDF of my call log, for the last 4 years.
I changed cel phone service suppliers about a week ago. So far things has been just fine but I am unable to receive any short code messages. Every time I have to log in to say a website like CRA its set up to text me a pin but it never comes through. I’ve had to ask them to phone me with it. This is less than ideal. I never had this issue with my other provider. Any suggestions?
Trying to port my landline from another provider to Koodo (mobile). The other provider claims they never received the request and there doesn’t seem to be a timely way to speak to Koodo. Request a callback and it’s 24h out..how can I get better support?
Bonjour, je voudrais changer la langue sur ma messagerie. Lorsque j’ouvre ma messagerie tout est en anglais et je n’y comprend rien. je voudrais l’avoir en français. Merci de m’aider
My data works fine and I have good service. But everytime I go to make a phone call it is just silent. No rings go through, nothing or call failed. I can't get in contact with Koodo because I can't call and there's no way to chat online with someone. I’ve turned on and off the phone, I reset everything, I took out the sim, I left it off for an hour. Calls ring but won’t connect. This is iPhone please help
I tried to access my voicemail messages last night (9 of them) on my cell phone only to find that all 9 vm msgs had been deleted. I did not do this. Is there any way to retrieve these vm msgs?? Thank you.
I need Koodo’s help to provide me with a phone number for an incoming call that was a private number. I tried calling Koodo customer service and technical support and they could not help me. The person threatened me and I need the phone to contact the local police. Please call me so we can discuss this serious situation further.
My monthly allotment of data was used in a matter of days. There are some unusual high periods of data usage. While there have been months that I use all data, it’s never within a couple of days. Could this be some sort of glitch?
I have been using my cell phone as also my business phone for texting only, but my customers keep trying to call me. So I want to have a business phone number that's texting only to communicate with them on, and have my personal phone number for the rest of what I need. Is there a way to do that?
Keep getting error message, “Sorry! We can’t complete this process right now. Please try again later.”
Do I need to remove my sim card when I am on a seasonal hold? I have an esim arranged for a trip to Europe but was hoping to know if I need to remove my physical sim card. Thanks!
On March 3 and 4th I was charged for unexplained data usage to the tune of approx 3.7G of data overage. This happened in bursts of data usage while my phone was sitting inactive. Where do I go to get an explanation for this?
