I changed cel phone service suppliers about a week ago. So far things has been just fine but I am unable to receive any short code messages. Every time I have to log in to say a website like CRA its set up to text me a pin but it never comes through. I’ve had to ask them to phone me with it. This is less than ideal.  I never had this issue with my other provider. Any suggestions?

 

Which phone do you have?

Have you tried restarting your phone?

A phone restart clears up minor glitches and is recommended after changing service providers.


Did you port your number over?  If so when?

 

When i need a short code for 2FA with CRA I do not have any issues


I did have it ported over 8 days ago. I have restarted the phone 3 times. It’s a Samsung S23.


Try contacting Koodo’s porting team at 1-844-232-7678. A rep should be able to verify whether the port transfer went through successfully or if your service needs provisioning. If you prefer, you can schedule a callback through Koodo Assist to speak with a rep.
