I need to switch providers for the main line on my Koodo account because I don't get service at my trailer and I am on call for work. I have 3 lines total on my Koodo account but I only want to port mine and keep my account open with the other 2 numbers staying the same. I am worried if I ask Rogers to Port my number my entire account will be closed and I will lose the other 2 numbers. Can someone explain how this will work?

I live in Toronto. Whereever I call I get a message 6Ut1 number not in service. LTE works. Tried to reset my phone and the SIM card. It does not work. Looks like Koodo network issue. Would be nice to have a heads up if you know you have issues. Cannot do my work.
I recently transfered from Rogers and brought my number and phone with me. I did the phone number transfer and my Koodo account reflects the correct number. My phone is stuck using the number given when the Koodo account was created and is not using the number that was ported to my account.
I’d like to transfer my number from Bell to Koodo. But my service plan with Bell has expired and I currently cannot receive SMS. In this situation, how would I transfer my number from Bell if I would never receive the confirmation SMS from Bell?Very much appreciate any help!
I’ll try to register online my sim, but in the web page ask for: Which City do you live?I choosed Ontario, but it doesn’t show Markham City or Stouffville (Whitchurch-Stouffville) City.
I fail to understand why in a world riddled with spam and fraudulent calls, a call would come through on my phone from a Koodo representative. This call I believe was legitimate, however because of my lack of trust in talking business over the phone (unless arranged), I ended the call.
Why does my data keep cutting out. In a major town in Ontario Canada Time to switch to another carrier
I scheduled a callback for today. The agent called me and we were in the middle of a conversation when for some reason the call was dropped. The agent never called back after that. What is the deal????
I set up my account and transferred my number to Koodo 5 days ago. While transferring my number, I had a temporary number from Koodo for about a day. It took 2 attempts to transfer the number. However since then, some of my contacts see the number I transferred over and others still see the temporary Koodo number. What is going on? Thank you.
My wife and I are Koodo customers. I want to merge our accounts and keep our numbers the same but not sure where to start.
Well my phone I bought was black listed then that was fixed then my SIM card from bell was locked and it might be unlock now who knows hoping but I been trying to get this phone hooked up for the last 4 days and it might just be the esim that’s not working
I live in Beamsville ON and our cell service it terrible. I’ve been trying to get a hold of a live person but I’m always directed to schedule a call back. Unfortunately the service in my area is so bad that all my calls just go to voicemail. How do I talk to a live person if I can’t get a call back?
I had scheduled two call backs tonight, no one called for the first one, and the second one just kept ringing. What is even the point of a call back?
My cellphone is hacked
I’d like to be a postpaid customer of Koodo (currently with Rogers), but apparently I have a ‘thin’ file ( definition: limited information to determine credit score) when Koodo ran a credit report. What options do I have to sign up with Koodo and how do I do it? I’ve read that I could have a co-signer on my account or pay everything up front? Only interested in a post-paid plans.
Today I have a problem with a text to USA which has resent more than 30 times. I have texted other people in Canada today with no problem. My friend is annoyed at the persistent recurrence of the same text. I cancelled it and I restarted my iphone already to no avail. Thanks for any help.
Previous thread I was following with similar information got closed.Basically the issue is that several services that ask me to attach a phone number to them (for instance, the 7/11 app or the ChatGPT app as examples) , do not like my phone number. When I enter my phone number they say it is invalid and sometimes add that they believe it is a VoIP number. It has never been on VoIP. How do I fix this? How do I get Koodo to tell whoever manages this stuff that the number is A-OK? I do not want to change my number as I have had it a long time and it would be extremely inconveinant.
Ever since switching to Koodo a couple of months ago, I experience these regular interruptions or blips during all of my phone calls. For about 8-10 seconds every 5 mins or so, I can’t hear the other person and they can’t hear me. I’ve checked that my iPhone notifications aren’t somehow interfering, but it’s not that. I’ve also closed all other windows/apps and it still happens. It occurs during all calls, both with other Koodo provider phones and with landlines. I used to be with Rogers with the same phone, and this never happened. I’m thinking about switching from Koodo if it continues as it’s very frustrating. Has anyone else had this issue?
I changed my number using the self service. It shows up as the new number on the account but it is not active; people still have to call and text my old number and get a 'number not in service' message when trying the new number. Its been a few hours. Any idea why? Thanks
I had an issue this morning receiving calls from my colleague. The caller reports that they were prompted by Call Control to enter the number, and did so. Then the line hung in dead air, no ring tone, until the caller hung up. In my Call Control call log it shows these numbers as authorized, but my cell phone didn’t ring. Amy suggestions why this occurred? The caller was using Google Voice app on an android device
Jesus christ, i waited a full day for a call back and the agent transferred me to a different department.During the transfer, it asked me to press 1 to speak to an agent. I pressed 1 and “sorry I didn’t get that, try again”Pressed 1 again “Sorry, I didn’t get that, try again” And then my call got dropped. Now i have to wait 2 DAYS for the next call back.
I’ve been testing Google Voice for our office and I’m having issues connecting through to lines with Telus Call Control. I have Call Control enabled on my cell phone. When I call my cell number from Google Voice App for Android, I am prompted by Telus Call Control to enter the number to connect the call. I enter the number and then the line is silent and the call does not connect through. However, when I look at my call log on the Telus Call Control site it looks like these calls are authorized. I don’t have any missed calls on my cell phone. Does anyone have a suggestion as to what might be the issue here?
