Hey guys,

I have a quick question for the community !

I am a student currently based in Paris. I am planning to move to Canada, more precisely to Ontario city.

I will be in the need to remain reachable at all time in order to stay in touch with my parents.

Do you think/or know if KOODO is able to deliver me a SIM card outsite of Canada (in Paris) so that I can activate it once I arrive in Canada?

and how can they help me if I have troubles activating my line once in Canada ?

Thank you in advance for your answer you all !!!!

Koodo does not deliver outside Canada, unfortunately. If eSIM is an option, you might want to look into Public Mobile, which can be activated in their new app.. I do believe you would need a Canadian credit card though.

Welcome to Canada! (Well, soon 😁)

So Koodo is not very user friendly with international visitors, especially with international credit cards.  WIth this in mind, I would suggest prepaid (no credit check needed) over postpaid (credit check needed).

I would highly recommend you go with Public mobile instead (they have the same parent company as Koodo) since they have esim (assuming your phone can do esim) and you wont need the sim shipped to you (koodo and Public wont ship outside of canada).

When you get to Canada, you can buy vouchers as local stores to topup your prepaid account (Koodo prepaid and Public).

You can also buy topups here, but note they will be slightly more expensive than in store in Canada

You may be able to top up with a virtual credit card (canadian) if you are able to get one via https://www.koho.ca/
