I had an issue this morning receiving calls from my colleague. The caller reports that they were prompted by Call Control to enter the number, and did so. Then the line hung in dead air, no ring tone, until the caller hung up. In my Call Control call log it shows these numbers as authorized, but my cell phone didn’t ring. Amy suggestions why this occurred? The caller was using Google Voice app on an android device

If it’s authorized then they shouldn’t have been prompted to enter the number.

Is it possible that they were calling from a different number, perhaps they have a separate google voice number?

Does this happen to anyone else who tries to call?
