I got a new no in May 2023.. I tried to update my telephone no on few sites like the CRA, TD Insurance and one credit card company.. I’m getting an error on all of them with the same message ‘Must contain a valid 3 digit North American Area code..

It will take time for companies to get used to it, since it is a new area code.
If you do not mind changing your number, you can do it on your Self-Serve account and choose one starting with 587 or 825. https://www.koodomobile.com/en/help/changing-your-phone-number
