I’m new to Koodo. I want to sign up for a plan and buy a new phone here, but transfer my phone number from my current SIM card to the new one when it arrives. I’ve found instructions for how to do this, however I’m not sure how to handle on the Checkout page where it asks permission to “authorize this number” (the new SIM card number which I won’t be keeping) to make changes on my account. Do I just have to phone someone or buy in-store to get around this? Thanks for any insights.
I am currently in Cuba. On the first day my phone registered fine on the local network and I had full roaming capabilities. The last 2 days my phone won't register. Turning off "select automatically" in network operators shows 1 network (36801) but registration fails. Any ideas?
I’ve been trying to connect with a koodoo person by telephone to fix this problem. We’ve paid our bill 2x by accident and would like the amount credited back to our account or a refund. How do we go about resolving this? Thank you! :)
I have a Public Mobile SIM and phone number. i want to keep this phone number -- but switch to KoodoI’ve already gone to the store to purchase a Koodo sim card (I have it here at home with me). I see that it has a phone number assigned to it already that isn’t my Public Mobile phone number that I want to keep. SO - i have a Koodo SIM with phone number i don’t want. And a Public Mobile SIM with a phone number I do want. How can I get my Koodo SIM phone number corrected?Thank you so much.
Rather than using the default Koodo voicemail number (which requires me to phone for messages, go through security, press numbers to repeat/delete etc.) I have a VoIP number that I set my phone to forward unanswered calls to. (The VoIP service forwards voicemails to my email address as sound files. Much more convenient.)I just checked my first bill and see that Koodo charges me $0.50/minute for “Local aircharges” when someone leaves me a voicemail (in fact even when they don’t - as soon as I miss a call and it starts to forward it costs $0.50 even if they just hang up when I don’t answer). The number my voicemail forwards to is local; it’s in the same area code as my phone. My Koodo plan unlimited phone calls. Why am I being charged for a local call?
Hey, I thought I would try here as this a pretty simple question but I cant find an answer online. I added 45 dollars to my bill which is 0 at the moment, but if you add it onto a 0 dollar bill it becomes a +balance? Just curious as I like to pay things ahead a bit but not sure how Koodo handles it. If anyone knows much would be appreciated! Thanks
HelloI have two adds on which seems they are the same. But I pay for both:$5 Unlimited AIR Mins$2 for unlimited minutesI would like to confirm If I cancel the first one, I will still have the unlimited long distance incoming and out coming call. Thanks
I just received a call right now from this number with an id name "koodo loyalty" but as they hear my voice they cut it. How was that!? This is already a RED FLAG! I am about to block the number!!!
I switched from Koodo to Fido in November, 2022. I need to access my Koodo account to download all of my bills for 2022 but no longer seem to have access. It doesn’t recognize my email address.
I'm not sure what to expect. Any help would be awesome. When adding a line, do i get to choose the new number? We are adding a line for our child, and they wanted to know if they could choose the number they are getting. If so, would this be done before or after receiving the sim card?
Hi, I will use easy roam in US while travelling next week. My plan has unlimited Canada wide phone calls. my question: if I make calls in US -- to Canada, or US local , will I be charged for that? Thanks.
I have a new iPhone 13 (mini) purchased from Apple. I’d like to transfer my number to this phone, do I need to take it in to Koodo. I am presently using an iPhone 8 unlocked and use Koodo as my cell provider.
Hey There,I”ve just received my new Koodo sim in the mail but have been charged since Dec 16th.Are you able to assist with a credit as I’ve not used the device since then till today.THank you.
I transferred my service to Koodo and purchased the Stream+ service yesterday from a Koodo kiosk. The salesperson told me I’d get an email for activation but haven’t yet received it. I already have Netflix so I don’t want to be double billed. When I go into my account I see the add-on but I don’t see a way of activating it. I’m billed for my Netflix at the beginning of the month so would like to get this sorted in the next day or two.Am I being impatient or should I have received the email already? Thanks.
So I signed up for the black Friday deal of 50gb and was charged $65 or so just yesterday. The thing is I never activated my account or did anything, I never even opened the letter that came in the mail from them. I don't even know where it is. How can they charge me knowing I did nothing to activate it !!!?!?!?
I am a new customer and awaiting the delivery of my SIM card. The email updates I have received in advance of setting up my services includes the assignment of a new mobile number despite I requested the porting over of my current mobile number. Do I need to worry about this now or do I simply wait until I receive the SIM card for my current number to be ported over?
Where can I view my rollover data balance?
Since a month or 2, I keep receiving almost 3-4 times a week a spam email by message text. But the address use to contact me is: (myphonenumber)@msg.koodomobile.com, and those fraud guy keep having different email to send me this: “Votre plan NetfIix associer au (myPhoneNumber) a été bloqué en raison d'un erreur de paiement. Veuillez confirmé vos données personelle.https://is.gd/coc1s8y8v”(do not click on it!)With a link that I never click on. I am so tired of receiving this, I keep reporting it to 7726 and even Netflix, but it never stops!example of those fraud email: 24kushad@reeds.surrey.sch.uk. or ti@hidromasbrasil.comAnd I put on my Iphone the option to filter to block call and unknown senders text, but because it is send by email, my phone do not recognize it and filter it. I keep blocking the email adresse, but they use different one each time.I would be so thankful to anyone who could help me and without changing my phone number.(sorry for my not so good english)
What is the cheapest plan i can get that gives me access to sms when I am both in Canada and abroad? Can i get sms abroad when my account is on seasonal hold? Thank you!
I am planning to change from another provider to Telus or Koodo because of the need for Call Control ability. Does the $15 starter plan have call control?I know that Koodo only gives call control to post-paid plans, not prepaid, but does this also apply to the online-only $15 starter plan? My old plan was a basic $20 plan and is very similar to this one. The main reasons I’d get this are call control and price similarity, if call control is not available, then it’s a deal breaker for me.Will I be able to bring my old number with this online-only plan? Is this an entirely online process or should I call Koodo to smoothen this process?- Since this plan does not offer picture texts, do I get charged if advertisers send me picture texts?I have never had picture texts in a plan before, do they count as part of the data plan or do they work separately? if I turn off my phones data, will it disable picture texts too? Are emojis mms or sms?On overage fees for picture textsI was reading a previ
Whenever I log in and go to my self serve options for example my usage the page times out! I've tried on 3 different browser apps on my phone none of them will load! Other websites load just fine so I'm not exactly sure what the issue is... I tried restarting my phone and everything!Works just fine from my computer but I'm not home right now and I need to know how much data I have remaining now!Does anyone have any ideas? Thanks!
Hi I’m trying to add a line to my account but I already have a Sim card for the additional device, but Koodo wants to charge me for a new Sim card when checking out online. Is there a promo code available to forego the Sim card when ordering online?
Hi Koodo community,I switched to Koodo a couple of months ago at a Kiosk, the clerk there helped me set up a plan of 55/mo with 8GB data, and I also get monthly credit of $10 + MC Service Discount $10 (for 24 mo), so I pay 35/mo for 8GB.Now that I see on self service there is a plan of 55/mo with 50GB data, I wonder if I change my plan to this new one, will I continue to receive the current monthly credit ($10+$10) on my bill? or I would have to pay for the full 55/mo? (This is not part of the question but - last month I wanted to switch to a new promotional plan of 35/mo with 20GB data I saw at a Kiosk, but the Kiosk clerk said as a current Koodo customer, I’ll have to schedule a call back - which I tried, multiple times, but couldn’t get a call back anyhow! 😡... Then earlier this month, I received the data offer in SMS and replied Add25 within the next week - nothing happened, I got no reply ever since. 😡)
I have gone through self serve and added easy roam & easy roam international. I cannot get connected to any mobile networks. I have tried both automatic and manual.
Hi, I signed up for the $30/20gb promotional plan for BF by switching over from Fido. I was mailed two sim cards (two lines), and I was not informed of this by the representative. I switched over my phone number from Fido and I have only used one of the two lines since. So now on Koodo Self Serve there are two lines under the supposedly $30/20gb plan, my phone number from Fido and another random number I was provided. I received my bill today and I was really confused by the charges. This is the charge for the number that I had supposedly replaced:This is the charge on the 2nd line that I don’t use: This is the charge on the line that I switched over from Fido, replacing one of the lines: I see that the BF monthly credits are applied to both lines (other than the $5 new line credit), but I don’t understand why I was given two lines when I was not informed by the representative about it nor did I ask for it.
