Seems like Koodo/Telus is countering Freedom Mobile’s prepaid unlimited talk & text $99 yearly plan. I just noticed Koodo has a “360 days” prepaid offering shown on the front page of the prepaid site, however there is no other info anywhere other than having to follow the “activate now” button.  https://www.koodomobile.com/en/prepaid-plansIf I am understanding the verbiage correctly, if you prepay a plan (any prepaid plan??) for 360 days you will get 60 days “free”?  This also looks like it’s only geared/setup for new customers/activations only.  I did not see any offerings or abilities for current prepaid customers to switch to this.Any more details here would be appreciated.    

I am on a Koodo Prepaid plan Unlimited SMS texts.  When I go to the US will I be able to just receive SMS texts for free if I don’t buy a U.S. Roaming Text Booster? I don’t need to send SMS texts when I am in the US so I would like to know if I can just receive SMS texts for free while in the US if I don’t buy a U.S. Roaming Text Booster. From what I have read a Koodo Post pay plan allows free receive SMS texts while in the US but does a Koodo Prepaid plan so allow free receive SMS texts while in the US without buying a U.S. Roaming Text Booster?Thanks!

I have a Koodo plan that does not cover for picture and video  when sent via text ($15 plan) due to minimal data, so we get charged. If we are connected to wifi, we should be able to send pics or video without getting charged, correct? Just got our bill and had $6 of charges from pictures & video but we are usually connected to wifi.

I am trying to setup call forwarding using the *21 then the number to forward to then the # key.Keep getting the call can not be completed as dialed. 

 I am having difficulty producing the postal that is required for setting up my self serve account. I was hoping someone could give me some advice I have tried the only two postal codes I would have used and it is still coming back as the wrong postal code. Is there a way to bypass this or contact Koodo directly as I would really like to register my self serve to access my billing information.  Thanks in advance for your help and suggestions!  

I’m on Prepaid. If I turn on call forwarding and then turn off my phone, will calls be forwarded?Or does the phone need to be on and connected to a cell tower?I understand that if I take my phone to the US I should be able to text and use data on TMobile 4G LTE, but I can’t receive/make calls. So I could turn on call forwarding to my home OOMA phone (Cdn# but we’ll have it with us in the US). But do I have to have the phone on and in Canada for the forwarding to happen after I’ve set it up.Thanks in advance.

I would like to know thr procedure on how to activate new koodo sim from India. I got this sim card from VFS Global.

I cancelled my automatic top ups in April 2022 but have continued to be charged for the last four months whilst I have been living overseas and not using my Koodo account.  How can I get a refund for the amount that has been taken from my bank account? 

Hi  ,my son (17.5 years - minor) who just moved  to canada as an international student . wanted to get a sim and a pre paid plan.. is it possible to do so by going into a koodo store along with study permit and passport to buy and acfivate being a minor.

Can I delete a specific incoming text message ? If so, how?

I have tried everything under the sun to get in contact with Koodo, but they seem to only have 1 single option: the robo-chat. The main problem I’m having is that certain phone numbers seem to be shadow blocked (I have looked in every sub menu and the permissions. I have tried different phone apps, and everything else the wide internet can suggest). My boos and mother have not been able to call my phone or leave a message (though they can sometimes leave a message).The main issue, is the koodo callback number seems to be included in this list of somehow-blocked numbers; all i can get is voicemails from them. My phone does not ring, there is nothing in the call logs (not even showing a call was blocked) ; I just get a notification about 15 mins later that I have a voicemail.This means that I have an issue that the bot cannot fathom, and I have absolutely no way of getting a callback from their support. I can make an outgoing call, but their support number just says to ‘

Hi , After moving back to Ireland 3 months ago I’m finally ready to cancel my Koodo account, but I cannot see a way to do it from Self Service.. Is there a way for me to do this without having to call the helpline from abroad? Thank you in advance for any help... Liam

Hey everyone, I have a quick question. I keep getting these spam emails with scam site links in my SMS text message inbox. Newest one was 3:00am, and again at 3:30am, both of which woken me up. How do I permanently stop these stupid things from coming in. I’d prefer it if people could no longer email my SMS altogether. I’m using a Samsung Galaxy Note 10+, if that matters.

I’ve purchased an add-on for international long distance, but when I try to make a call it says international calls are not enabled and I don’t see anything in my self-service add ons to enable it. I’ve scheduled a call back for later but I need to make an international call urgently. Is there any other way to get it enabled?

I’ve seen others have had the same problem.  I have 2 accounts for my kids - one is getting the 50/90/100 warning, the other only gets a warning at 100%.  Can I please get an agent tagged to change this? 

I bought a Koodo SIM in a Telus store on 16 August. Signed up for Koodo online 17 August. Received email shipping confirmation 18 August. Today, 20 August, I registered for Self Serve.Now I’m at https://www.koodomobile.com/my-account/simswap/step-2 trying to change my number to the SIM I purchased in store, so I can use new phone before shipped SIM arrives. However, I get error message: “Your email address must be active for 48 hours. To continue, please choose the text option.”The text option does not work, since my phone isn’t on the network yet. This is my first cell phone ever. Can you call my land line? Or send SMS to a member of my family (but I’m not sure how to add his mobile number to my account).I’ve had this email address for years. When does the “48 hour” clock start? Is it from when I signed up for Koodo Self Serve?Thanks

Hi, if I don’t activate roaming before heading to U.S. will I still be able to see calls and texts as they come in?

If I pay off my tab will i lose the tab bonus i got when i purchased the phone? my phone was destroyed and i need a new one but don't want to forfeit the $600 bonus. 

Is anyone else's current usage (minutes and messaging) not displaying in self serve? It's been a couple of days
