Changing Plans Abroad

Hi There,

 

I am out of Canada for several months and am currently overseas.  I want to downgrade my plan to just the number only, something that would cost me $5-10 per month.  On the self serve app there is only the option to change a plan to something more expensive.  I am unable to call an agent due to being over seas, how can i downgrade my plan?

You’ll have to then send a private message to Koodo via FB Messenger or DM via Twitter to get a rep to assist with your account. The cheapest options are 15 dollars a month for seasonal hold plan, and the starter 15 dollar plan. I would suggest, if it’s going to be several months, to port your number to a VoIP service. It will likely have a one time porting fee but it will be free or close to free monthly to keep your number and you’ll even be able to use it.

I doubt you will find someone within that range. You can either put your line on a Seasonal Hold plan, which will remove your existing plan, or switch to the cheapest plan, which is the $15 plan. Send a message to a Koodo rep on Facebook Messenger or Twitter. https://m.me/Koodo
