If I were to buyout my remaining tab balance, what would happen to my table bonus balance? Would that disappear or be altered? And would I be able to change plans to a different Koodo plan? Bonus Balance is a new feature that wasn't around last time I bought a phone through Koodo.Thank you!

How can I speak to a customer service rep? I find it very odd that this is a difficult task. I have used the serf services and requested a phone call,  but no luck. Anyone has an experience with this? And what is  the best way to resolve this issue?Thanks!

I am travelling to the US soon and wanted to put Easy Roam on my 2 phones to be able to text each other and call when required while away on holiday.  I am wondering if my one phone has a data block for pictures on it can I still use that phone with easy roam?

New to koodo: ordered plan and SIM card online. Got email back with a phone number/account number. Used that to register online. Didn’t wait for the SIM card to arrive and instead used a store bought (post paid) SIM card. Using online account changed phone number to an existing one. Number was ported and while waiting for confirmation from Koodo that my line is active, which never arrived, I realized that I should have activated the SIM card first and then port the number. Now that I try to activate the SIM card the verification allows to use either email or text to make sure you are the account owner. Can’t use text since the ported number is in limbo: previous provider account is closed so can’t use the old SIM with previous provider, Koodo is not active so it can’t receive text yet. Email choice is also not accepted because the account is less than 48 hours old!Tried using chat with #AssistSS and after number of tries it says that the system is busy and they cannot

When the apartment staffs are trying to connect my cell with the buzzer it says ‘Log distance calling’ then I called Koodo and said the issue and they did something with my phone lock saying that now  everything should work and scheduled a call back on that day itself. But it was still not connecting and when they called the same day I said it not working and they looked into it and said it might take some time to be activated so give it a day and will call the next day. It’s going to almost a week and I did not get a call back also am not able to get a call back as the Koodo assist is not giving me the option to schedule a call. What am I supposed to????????It is really frustrating.!!!!!!

I currently a student and I have an XR. My 2 year contract with Koodo is ending next month and I want to switch to Telus and get a 14 with the BiB program but the plans there start at $85, not including the phone tab I’d have to pay as well. I find my current plan at Koodo really worth it, would I be able to get a better deal from Telus considering how I’ve been with Koodo for so long, and I’m a student? And if so how would I be able to? TIA 

I have a monthly plan that has Unlimited international messaging (text & picture) does that apply to sending as well as receiving  texts while in the USA

Did Koodo lay all their staff off? Fire them? File for bankruptcy and sell off their assets? Because I cannot seem to get any help with anything anymore..

Just wondering if anyone else is having issues with robocallers getting through your Call Control option?I live in BC and have recently received a number of calls from ON with recorded chinese messages. Any suggestions on how to ensure that they don’t get through? 

When my existing Netflix account is transferred, do I need to change Netflix login email address to the one I am using for Koodo?

Same here, esportz365 charged my daughter's account for several weeks. She got a scam email that she ignored that asked her to text a code back to them to confirm her account, which she of course never did. She then got another spam text saying that the account had begun and she'd be charged every week. She's young so of course she didn't look into it. These people can send a random text to anyone and unless you reply they can start charging you. It is unbelievable that a company would allow this to happen. These people need to be blacklisted immediately. Koodo can see these messages and there was absolutely no confiration on her part. I don't even think that someone used her telephone number to get a free account, I think they find people's numbers via cell phone companies and just send out the messages in mass to fleece people. 

Hello I’ve been trying to activate my SIM card on line for hours now no luck I have no access to txt or phone call when I try to put my email it says that it has to be active for 48 hours before sending me the 6 numbers to reactivate the card and when I call they only send me to robots  anyone can help me activate my symbol card ?? Or knows where to call to speak with an actual human ??

I’m having trouble activating Discocery+. It’s been 4-5 days since signing up for Stream+

Ported my number from PC Mobile to Koodo a few hours ago. My account says that my number was successfully transferred, but I still have no signal. I’ve tried removing my SIM and restarting my phone, but no luck.

Hi. My child is currently on the $15 prepaid plan and now that there is a $15 postpaid plan, I would like to move that over to my account. I have 3 questions:Can I keep the existing number? Can I use an existing (never used) postpaid sim card to activate the new account now? I know I’ll still get dinged the $5 for the sim card online but I’d rather not wait for the new card to be delivered. I upgraded my own phone 2 weeks ago and they sent a new sim that I did not use because I just moved the old one over to the new phone.  Can I do all of this online?Thanks!

I have Easy Roam set up and was automatically charged the $11/day when I used my phone for the first time when I went down the the US. I just checked my bill and I was also charged a per minute rate for several calls I made down there, while I was supposed to be on Easy Roam! How do I get this fixed, as I can’t talk to a human about it. 

I am a new customer in Koodo and my bill is nearing its due. I am trying to use my credit card to pay which is a Canadian VISA. I have tried self-serve and dialing 611 but it’s showing an error and over the phone it saying that my card is not accepted. What else to do? This is frustrating. It’s not supposed to be this hard to pay. I really do not want to miss the due.  I have read the threads from this community but there’s no clear resolution for this issue. 

Moving to  a place with minimal to no Koodo service.  How do I get out of my plan?I tried a new phone, and a new SIM card, but now I’m locked in *because I tried what options I had,) and the house I’m moving to I can barely get any service.  Minimal text text messages is all I Can send out.  I did everything I can (new phone, new SIM, tried a different phone,) but now I’m locked in, and moving to a location where I can’t use my phone, but Koodo wants $1000 to get out of my plan.  What can I do?No, its not in the middle of the countryside.  It is right in Brantford, ON, and there is nothing to mess with the signal… I found out the neighbout had to cancel Telus because it only got worse.Should I go to the Better Business Bureau?

I availed the promotional $45 for 10GB offer but my rate  is shown as $60. I just want to make sure if I will be charged $45 or $60 because my online account shows $60

Just buy a new SIM card in a supermarket and can't create an account in self service. It asks phone number or account number, but I a new pre-paid client, I don't have it. And can't activate card, stuck on the Payment step, it just reload. Please, help
