Hello,I owe some amounts to Koodo. A debt collection agency has been hounding me using very inappropriate methods. That aside, I need to verify with Koodo that this debt collection agency is legit, and that they are indeed contracted by Koodo, and that payments are to be paid to them, and that to know the timeline to have my debt removed from my credit history after the payment. I’m hesitant to pay anything to anyone until I have verified that they are who they say they are and indeed legitimately contracted by Koodo. I’d very much like to have it resolved asap personally too, but through the correct and appropriate methods. Thanks.
When I signed up for Internet, it stated that the equipment and set-up fees are charged to your credit card, but that going forward for monthly charges, you would have to request automatic payments to your card if that’s what you choose. I don’t want my card charged. I want a bill and to be able to pay it on my own. You can’t state one thing then do another, that’s not good customer service. How do I change this?

So I have a tab and a tab bonus when I got my phone in the fall. But I still owe month on both tab and tab bonus. I'm bored of my phone and want to switch back to an iPhone. I understand I'm able to pay off my tab if I want to but I don't see an option to pay off my tab bonus. Am I even able to switch phones? What happens if I do?
I set up auto pay but I have no idea when the payments will be coming out each month. Can it be set up to a Mastercard instead of bank account?

Hello, I recently canceled my Koodo account on November 30, 2024, as I moved back to my home country. My account shows a credit balance of - $17.32, and the due date for my final bill is December 11, 2024. I had been paying my bills through automatic bank payments, but I have not received the refund for the credit balance in my bank account yet. Since I am currently overseas and unable to use the callback service, I would like to know:1. Why does this credit balance exist?2. How can I request a refund while being outside Canada? I would appreciate any help or guidance regarding this matter. Thank you!
Just got off the phone with a rep who told me that, in order to cancel a line with a tab, I would need to first return my phone and then call back to cancel the plan. The order was placed over the phone so he emailed me the prepaid label to return the device.My question is, the return is cutting very close to the 15 day trial period. What happens if I send the phone now but it gets delivered after the trial period? If I call back to cancel, will I still be charged for the month since technically the plan wasn’t cancelled until after the trial period?
Hi, I have a shared account with my brother. He was unemployed for a couple months and hasn't paid his bill. My bill is paid up. If I make a payment for one of his late bills would it go as a credit to my bill or go to his? Thanks
Hi there, I’m Deanne and I’m new to the community.I recently signed up with Koodo as a new customer, and noticed that the customer sales rep at the store took my cc, even though I did not ask for pre-authorized payments nor was it set up (at least I thought it’s not set up, since self-service online asks if I want to set up pre-auth). I couldn’t find more info about it on my billing history as nothing seems to have been charged through it. Is there a reason behind the rep doing this? Should I be worried?Is there a way I can confirm that pre-authorized payment has not been set up? I would like to pay for it each time.Thanks,D
Hi everyone,I wanted to get clarification on Tab Bonus and how it is affected when cancelling a plan that completed its 24-month term.My plan term started on November 25, 2022 and ends on November 25, 2024. On May 07, 2023 I purchased a phone and received a Tab Bonus. My current plan has completed the 24-month term, and I have paid off my remaining tab balance. If I decide to cancel my plan and switch to another provider, will I have to pay back the Tab Bonus?
I don’t see the $5 discount showing up on my second bill after changing plans. I was already set up for auto pay before this plan. Please advise.

I just got a new phone and kept my same old plan, but was told that I not only had to pay my remaining tab balance, but also the bonus tab balance from Koodo. On koodos website says the bonus tab balance only has to be paid if you upgrade with an inillegible plan, why was I charged this? Koodo would've paid the bonus tab portion regardless if I paid my tab off sooner or not, so why am I being charged this extra amount?
My daughter and I are travelling to the U.S. for 5 days soon. I’d really like to avoid paying the Easy Roam fee of $28 per day ($14 each) just so we can text each other.My hope is to remove the Easy Roam Add Ons and just use pay per use for our texting (100 texts for $10).However, I have a few concerns...1) I’ve read elsewhere in this forum that you should put your phone in Airplane Mode if you want to avoid any roaming charges. But if we do this, will we be able to text each other? (I’m not very tech -savvy).2) Can we still use data if we’re in a place that has WiFi without worrying about data charges?3) Do the 100 texts a day include just texts we send to people in Canada and the US - or also any texts that we receive?Thanks very much!
