Hi @fschigor

As @Oliver C mentioned, the first bill is usually higher due to proration and connection fee, when the activation is completed with a rep or in store.

The connection fee is waived for online activations.

Your first bill includes the proration, the connection fee and the monthly plan. The second bill includes the regular cost of the plan.

You can view the details of each charge by downloading the PDF bill in self serve https://www.koodomobile.com/en/help/viewing-and-downloading-your-bills

More about first proration you can find here  https://www.koodomobile.com/en/help/proration

Your story is a little confusing. Have you paid any bills yet? If not, that adds up after a few months. Have you checked self serve and downloaded your invoices?

Hi there,

if you were to download the PDF of the last two bills and post some of the charge details here (while blocking out any personal information please as this is a public community platform) we can definitely advise you better as Sophia mentioned. To add to @Sophia is it just one phone line or multiple? As of the first bill, that one will be higher due to connection fees, proration rates, and your monthly fee. If you have multiple lines too, this will apply for each one. For more information about your first bill you can check this out here https://www.koodomobile.com/en/help/your-koodo-bill-after-youve-activated-a-new-account-or-added-a-new-line

but as they mentioned the late fees is due to non payment and they add up quite quickly as you’re seeing.

I'm canceling my Sim card today, as well as my wife's and our kids Sim cards.

Yes because a pretend customer will pretend interest in a fellow customer's story and point out their complains as confusing. Confusing is how you guys structure your whole customer support in fake customer accounts instead of just having a land-line phone number and actually solving their clients issues in 10 minutes.

The connection fee is $60 per line, to which the monthly plan is added + the proration. Please feel free download the PDF bill in self serve using the link above and check pages 4 and 5 of the April bill.

Let us know if you have further questions.

We actually are not employees. Only the people with “Koodo” in their names are Koodo employees.

While unfortunately Koodo does not have the option to call a rep directly anymore, they do have the option to schedule a callback to speak with a rep over the phone.

Having a bill much larger than you’d expect is definitely shocking. Being at 380 now sounds like the first bill, which includes proration as explained, the connection fee, and the next bill now that you mentioned a late fee, sounds about right. That’d be someting like 2.5 (or however many days the first partial bill was) months of service, plus connection fee, plus taxes.
