Hey folks, I had a koodo plan where I was getting 50$ for 70gb, 5G speeds. I have been trying to get the EPP applied on this for like 2 months now but there was a paystub issue, I got that fixed and just got an email my plan is not eligible for EPP.

So I called Koodo and they switched my plan to 55$ for 80gb, 5G speeds. They also mentioned only 55$+ plans are eligible for EPP, Im just afraid I was oversold because in self serve I can see 50$ for 60gb plans too.

Can anybody confirm?

Hi there,

So quick question, EPP is only available on the Telus side of things, Koodo doesn’t have EPP plans (except for sometimes they can have EPP discounts rather than specific plans). So are you saying you were offered Koodo to Telus EPP or were you being offered an EPP discount? And really I would say the main benefit of EPP with Telus would be for the phone pricing rather than the plans as they tend to be much cheaper, that or the base plan comes with CAN/USA which can be useful. Where as with Koodo it’s just a discount. So if you were looking for a new phone I would make the switch to Telus EPP, if not though I’d probably stay with Koodo if you were looking for as cheap as possible but based on what you said $50 60gb would be better as if you switch again in the future (plan or otherwise) you would have to go through the EPP check process again which can be a hassle as you’re seeing now. I hope this helps 🙂👍

Hi @KushKaur

We have checked and can confirm that your current plan $55 80 is eligible for EPP discount.

@Flo Koodo is 50$ for 60gb eligible for EPP? Or only plans 55$+ are eligible?

No, the $50 60GB is not eligible for EPP.
