I want to transfer my wife’s Koodo postpaid number to a Koodo prepaid number. I am the account holder. The reason for the switch is for a couple of reasons. 1) my wife’s health has deteriorated drastically and we want a basic service. 2) we need to save money on our cellular usage. Is it a simple process that I can do at home? I do have a Koodo Prepaid SIM card. Lars
Im locked out and need to add time with a new bank card can u help
I am a prepaid customer frequently operating outside of the cellular network (travel to the remote north or outside of the country). Many apps and programs require 2-factor authentication. Is there any way to access my text messages while I'm outside of the cell network (eg via the internet)?
It is stated that ‘’Long-Distance Talk Booster Add-ons can be used to make calls to 50 international destinations, including the U.S. For a full list of available countries, click here.’’However, when you click on that link, or check other webpages as well, you just cannot find the full list. I really need the full list so that I know if I can call my family members who live in Europe or not.Can someone provide a full list of all 50 international destinations? Thank you.
This is my current plan: $25 Unlimited Text & Picture Messaging, Unlimited Canada-wide Calling and 250 MB of Data with Automatic Top-up This also includes:30 Day Plan Bonus 250 MB data with Automatic top-up Unlimited Canada-wide Calling Unlimited Text and Picture Messaging Voicemail 10† and Call Forwarding† Call Display Call WaitingConference CallingSo I should have 500 MB of data a month correct?Side note I now see there is more data for the same price but am mid cycle so will have to wait to change. When I look at my usage summary it shows the one 250 MB there and I think I remember that is just how they set it up but I never purchase a booster specifically So based on the info in the pic above I am confused...lolIt says ** since last booster purchased which I don’t think I ever did.and where is the 250 MB from my plan? When I check my actually usage I see this: So where is the 152.607 used come from? Also here is my booster screenshot -- I did pay $10 for talk and the data shows
Hi
On the new $15 base plan, do the “unlimited incoming calls” include calls from the US?
I went I change my $15 prepaid base plan to the new one saying it now includes unlimted incoming calls, and it said in my account that I already had it. I guess my question is when did Koodo upgrade to unlimited incoming calls on the $15 plan. I changed a few months ago when it started giving the 100 minutes but needed to change plans to receive that. I only noticed last last that I had it and assumed I needed to change my account to receive it. I’m happy about it just confused when this change took place. Thanks in advance if anyone get can me a answer on this.
Hi,I was wondering if the prepaid credit card charging top up is down or not cause for several days I have been trying to top up my account and this message comes up.
Recently I switched my phone plan from a monthly post paid, to a pre paid plan. I am currently travelling overseas and intended to use it as a cheap way to keep my phone active (to receive texts or calls and return them through other means). It wasn't until speaking to about 4 people (and mentioning international travel to each one) when finally I was told that pre paid doesn't work overseas. Unfortunately by then I had already set up and paid for 360 days of service that now doesn't work. And since I'm overseas with a phone plan that doesn't work I can't set up a call back to cancel and request a refund. A supervisor was supposed to call me but never did before I left for my trip. Does anyone know if an email I can use to contact them?
Hello there, I was double charged on a top up. I called and was told I would receive a refund — but no refund has been received and I can still see the extra funds in my account so it doesn’t look like it’s been processed. Can someone please contact me. Tiffany Low
Seems like Koodo/Telus is countering Freedom Mobile’s prepaid unlimited talk & text $99 yearly plan. I just noticed Koodo has a “360 days” prepaid offering shown on the front page of the prepaid site, however there is no other info anywhere other than having to follow the “activate now” button. https://www.koodomobile.com/en/prepaid-plansIf I am understanding the verbiage correctly, if you prepay a plan (any prepaid plan??) for 360 days you will get 60 days “free”? This also looks like it’s only geared/setup for new customers/activations only. I did not see any offerings or abilities for current prepaid customers to switch to this.Any more details here would be appreciated.
I am on a Koodo Prepaid plan Unlimited SMS texts. When I go to the US will I be able to just receive SMS texts for free if I don’t buy a U.S. Roaming Text Booster? I don’t need to send SMS texts when I am in the US so I would like to know if I can just receive SMS texts for free while in the US if I don’t buy a U.S. Roaming Text Booster. From what I have read a Koodo Post pay plan allows free receive SMS texts while in the US but does a Koodo Prepaid plan so allow free receive SMS texts while in the US without buying a U.S. Roaming Text Booster? Thanks!
I’m on Prepaid. If I turn on call forwarding and then turn off my phone, will calls be forwarded?Or does the phone need to be on and connected to a cell tower?I understand that if I take my phone to the US I should be able to text and use data on TMobile 4G LTE, but I can’t receive/make calls. So I could turn on call forwarding to my home OOMA phone (Cdn# but we’ll have it with us in the US). But do I have to have the phone on and in Canada for the forwarding to happen after I’ve set it up.Thanks in advance.
I would like to know thr procedure on how to activate new koodo sim from India. I got this sim card from VFS Global.
I cancelled my automatic top ups in April 2022 but have continued to be charged for the last four months whilst I have been living overseas and not using my Koodo account. How can I get a refund for the amount that has been taken from my bank account?
Hi ,my son (17.5 years - minor) who just moved to canada as an international student . wanted to get a sim and a pre paid plan.. is it possible to do so by going into a koodo store along with study permit and passport to buy and acfivate being a minor.

I didn’t top up my account on August 4th when the base plan renewed. If I top up my account now, will I have to top up again on September 4th, or will my base plan change to the date that I topped up? I don’t want to waste money by topping up now and only getting 10 days of use.
Hi, I have bought Koodo prepaid SIM card, but I am unable to finish payment, since I do not have credit card or debit Visa issued in USA/Canada. All I have is debit Visa issued in Europe, which is not suitable for payments.I am a newcomer in Canada, and need phone number as soon as possible. Can I go to a Koodo store, ask for activation assistance and pay with cash?
How do i go about getting into my account again.
Hello! I got my SIM card here in Montreal and I have a 30-day prepaid plan which includes 3 GB. I’ve spent only half of that amount, and yet I’ve faced many issues to access internet since yesterday. I can’t even use the browser and I made sure that everything’s set up right on my phone, just like when it was working. Also, the fact that the website’s a mess (I had to set up a new account to have access to the community because it wouldn’t allow me to do so with my Koodo one). Plus, I’m upset for the fact there’s no direct way to communicate with Koodo and there’s no mobile app, which makes checking info a tough task.
I can not port out my wireless home phone due too a flaw in the Koodo system. Koodo treats my home phone like a cell phone, They send a text to authorize the transfer but home phone does not have text service. Thus, the request fails. I called Koodo several times to manually authorize the transfer with no luck.Is it possible to use the home phone sim card in a spare cell so it can handle text message? I tried but the sim card need a pin code.
How often to I have to top up my account for the sim to stay active and not loosing my number?(I want to travel for a few months outside of Canada and I have a prepaid sim).
how do I access my voice-mail?
