Got a pre owned phone last week and it’s showing in my settings “important display message” 

So, two issues - or maybe just one issue causing both things? 1- I get no notifications of new voicemails.2- I get “Connection problem or invalid MMI code” when I attempt to dial into the voicemail mailbox.  So, no way to access any messages that might be there. I’ve tried resetting my phone, running in safemode, resetting all network settings, reseating the SIM card, and removing any apps that I’ve installed within the last month - none of these have helped. Hoping that the community might have some helpful advice!  Thanks in advance to anyone that might have a clue what to try next :)  

Last week I paid off my tab to upgrade - this week a promotion was sent to me to wave tge tab on the same upgrade! How can I get the benefit of this promotion - I replied to the email and was told it was on my account but I don’t see it anywhere!

I have a tab balance of ~$100 and tab bonus balance of $150. If I pay off my tab balance of 100, what happens to the other 150? Do I continue to pay off that bonus balance amount on a monthly basis? And can I get a new phone after paying off the tab with the bonus amount still on my account or do I have to pay off both? TIA

This company is a scam and a half. Without any contact they changed the account number and my auto payments went into the air. After hours on the phone they blamed me, Misha threatened to cancel helping me and would not let me say a single sentence, no one could show me the change I made 2 months ago and no one could provide a signed contract besides my original from 7 years ago. Reps don’t give dealer numbers or provide you with anything to hold them accountable. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. THEY ARE HORRIBLE PEOPLE.

I’ve been using koodo for over 4 years and plan to get a new phone but do not intend to switch to a new phone right away. I understand if i don’t want to be charged for breaking the contract i have to be with them for 2 years, correct?

I am about to move to Canada, I land in a few days. I was wanting to know where I can buy a prepaid sim card when I arrive. Are they available in the airport? (I'm flying into Vancouver)

I’d like to purchase a new phone online to avoid paying the unnecessary $50 activation fee when you go in person to purchase a phone. However, I’m wondering if there’s a way to opt-out of the new sim card which also costs an extra $5?I don’t need a new sim card since I will be able to use my existing Koodo sim card with the new phone. I’ll already have to pay the $10 shipping fee for the new phone, but I really don’t want to pay the extra $5 for something I don’t need. I know it seems silly to get heated over $5, but it seems like no matter how I get a new phone (online or in person) Koodo is forcing me into paying some sort of extra fees and its frustrating. Any way to get around the new sim card fee?

Hello,I added Instant Voicemail to my phone plan on April 10 2023 and received a confirmation e-mail from Koodo saying my services were updated. If I understand this link from the Help section correctly, I should be receiving a MMS with future voicemails attached and not receive the traditional voicemail notification. Since then, I no longer receive the traditional voicemail notifications as indicated, but I do not receive a MMS when I receive a voicemail; I still have to dial my voicemail inbox “the old way” to check my messages. My mobile data is turned on as per the requirements, and turning wifi off while using wifi does not make a delayed MMS appear in my messages.I have a Google Pixel 4a and have not blocked Koodo’s messages in the past. What number should I be receiving the MMS from? Are there special settings in the Pixel 4a I should be loo

 I just purchased a preowned iphone 11 pro maxIn general settings, under ‘Parts and Service History’ the display is saying “unknown part”any way I can fix this??The full message is: “ Unknown Part - unable to determine if your phone display is a genuine apple part. This could be beacuse the part is non-genuine, not functioning as expected, or installation is incomplete.”Thanks for any info

There are some green lines on our iPhone 11 screen, it wasn't dropped on the ground or soaked in water. I am suggested to use some iOS system repair tool to solve the software issues, such as Tenorshare or Joyoshare UltFix, are they really works? Any one used them?

My phone is stuck on “SIM card updating”. It was working fine before. I did not touch anything.  Tried removing and putting back the SIM card. Checked my account and my phone number is active. I don’t have another phone to call Koodo for help.

Hi does anyone here have a TCL 20S pro that did the update recently it did mine and my husband automatically overnight and for the past week he cant do any outside calls after 2 rings it hangs up and says no response call timed out I went to Telus technical solutions I have done 2 factory resets nothing works has anyone had the same issue ?

I double checked my address and it was right. Eventually, it returned to the sender. So now I don’t know what to do. Where I can contact regarding this issue?

Hello, I am currently in Portugal for 2 months and I’ve put my plan on seasonal hold. I’m now trying to do my taxes but the CRA and my bank need to get in touch with via my QC phone number (got a France # while I was out here). How do I manage this considering I have to either receive texts or make call + waiting time for certain services ? In this particular instance, my credit card needs to be unlocked to have access to some documentation but I have no good way of getting them on the phone for less the 1 euro a minute…. Help me please, not sure what to do here.Theo

I tried converting my physical SIM to eSim as per instructions on your website and now neither my physical SIM nor my eSim work. I received an error during the conversion process that it failed, after that it was no longer working and there is no option to convert the physical SIM anymore.  I’m using iOS 16.4.1 and I was connected to the Internet at the time of the conversion. Chat is of no help as the assistant doesn’t recognize the problem, and even if it did, it wouldn’t help to schedule a call as my service is not working.

I purchased new phone and VM does not answer calls.  I can access my VM but no one can leave message, the phone just keeps ringing without VM cutting in.  How do I fix this?

Can I upgrade my phone without account holder present? I am the second name on the account, but does he physically need to be with me to do my upgrade? 

My son has had a tablet/data plan (tablets with data plans are registered to a phone number, that's not useable, and i guess just allows the tablet to access data) he's had it for 2 years and was recently payed off.  I wanted to upgrade it to a cell phone, but every time I try to order it along with a new plan, it comes up with an unknown error “please refresh or try again later”…. And it doesn't work later, I've been trying for weeks.I'm assuming this is because of something to do with that unusable number.…Anyways, I'm not sure how to resolve the issue, if anyone is able to tell me how, it would be greatly appreciated!

Hey all, I used the feature in iOS 16.4.1 to transfer physical SIM to eSIM so I could utilize second phone line (other phone would be the source of the physical SIM in my iPhone 13 Pro).  after following the instructions the transfer was stuck on “Activating...” for over 30 minutes.  at a certain point I received a pop up telling me the eSIM failed to activate.  now the information is gone from the physical SIM and the eSIM does not work.    I have tried: 1. read a ton of FAQ/Community posts, 2. Toggle Airplane mode, 3. restart phone 4. reset network settings I don’t want to remove eSIM from my device because I won’t have anything left. Appreciate any help possible!

I inadvertently deleted the phone number of a person I was texting and now I don’t know how to get in touch with her.   Is there any way you can recover that information?  Text numbers don’t seem to appear on my bills

Android Koodo subscriber to Android Koodo subscriber: PNGs in text messages result in "one or more media attachments were removed" error. JPEGs work fine. 

Question. Hoping someone can help. Currently in the U.K. Have an iPhone 11.. EasyRoam is enabled. First day here I was able to text to people back home. Second day here and unable to text anyone except others who have an iPhone. Can’t make calls back home. Can’t access my voicemail. Shut the phone off and turned back on and it’s still not working. Data is working. But not being able to text or call. Any ideas on what’s going on?? Thanks so much. :) 

J'ai passé une commande pour un téléphone et un forfait, pris un rendez-vous téléphonique avec l'assistant koodo, et je n'ai recu aucun appel, plus d'une heure après le rendez-vous... si vous offrez un service comme ça pour une commande, j'imagine même pas le service quand il y a un problème.... Donc, comment je fais pour ANNULER ma commande puisque vous n'avez pas l'air intérressé a me vendre un cellulaire?!?
