Modifying Voicemail Message

Hi, I’m looking to reset my voicemail to default. I do not have a greeting, but I had recorded my name when I set it up and it plays when you reach voicemail. I’d like to remove this and have the voice recording just list my number instead, “You’ve reached xxx-xxx-xxxx”. I could not find any support articles about this though I may have missed something.

For anybody else stumbling on this post looking for an answer : to replace your personal greeting by re-establishing a standard greeting or just your phone number, please schedule a callback through Koodo Assist, and a rep will help you reset your voicemail.

To set up a system greeting that announces a short greeting and your phone number, please follow the steps below.

Access your voicemail by long-pressing the one key on your phone and entering your voicemail password (if or as required).

  • Press 3 (to Manage your Greetings)
  • Press 1 (to Manage your Personal Greetings)
  • Press 6 (for the System Greeting)
  • Press 9 (to hear your active System Greeting)

The System Greeting should erase your recorded name.

If you need to activate the system greeting,

  • Press 3 (to Manage your Greetings)
  • Press 1 (to Manage your Personal Greetings)
  • Press 1 (to Activate a Greeting) - if not already activated, the system should prompt you to activate this greeting
