I put on my number on seasonal hold, and I had to do it through a live agent, as it’s not an option available online. On my bill, I see that Koodo has charged me 15 dollars for that service change; this should not have been charged as the only way to get it done is with the live agent.Obviously I cannot schedule a callback, as the number is suspended (I am back in Canada on August)-how can i ask them to rectify this fee? I do this every year, and this is the first year that I see this charge on the bill; in the previous years, the fee was not applied.Thanks, c
Approximately a week ago, I had to contact the police via 911 services @ 3am. I live in Regina, SK. When I used my mobile phone to make the 911 call, it instead connected me to the 911 call centre in Saskatoon, SK which is over 300km away. The phone rep had to then transfer my call to Regina’s 911, which took time. Luckily this wasn’t a problem this time, but in another emergency that could be wasting time!Is there a setting or method on my account to set the 911 services to the correct city? Shouldn’t this be something associated with my billing address? Or Geo Location? Or the cell phone tower I am connecting to?How do I get this fixed so the next emergency call is safe?
My phone randomly started having issues with text messages and calls. After spending 2-3 hours talking to tech support, my phone reset itself, and deleted all my photos from the last few years . I am soo upset, as I had some very sentimental photos on my camera rolls and I cant find then on my back up or google drive. When I went to my computer, they had been removed from there as well. Although the staff I spoke to was very kind and helpful, the only thing I can think of that could have caused this reset was the advice given by the staff member. Can anyone let me know why this reset happened or how to get my photos back? Thank you
Hi there! I have an account (with plan & tab for myself) and I added a new line for my partner. They have their own phone so I just need to buy the SIM card and add a their plan. Koodo has this ”5$/month rebate on the new added line” as long as the new plan is 40$/month or more (Quebec). But when I process the order, the rebate does not seem to apply itself. Does anyone know anything about this?Thanks in advance!
I’m trying to click ‘save’ at the final part of the Automatic Top-ups page, where I am clicking save in order to confirm I’m okay with the PAD terms, but it’s hidden underneath the text explaining all of that… I can’t click it. Is this a glitch? I am on an iPhone, should I try on my laptop instead? I’m not able to currently but I’ll give it a shot later if there isn’t a fix for this. Thanks !
Hello, so every single time my power goes out my koodo data just stops working. Why? I can still text and iMessage but why am I not able to open google or anything? I can’t even check to see when my hydro comes back on… it makes no sense that every time my power goes out my data just doesn’t work.
I’ve tried several times to transfer my old phone number from a different provider following the instructions outlined using Self Serve but keep receiving the message, “An Error Occurred”. Not sure what I’m doing wrong (if anything) or wether the online service/activation is down and can’t find a customer service phone number to call for help. Anyone had a similar problem? This is very frustrating! Thank you
I received a call supposedly from Koodo and the person offered me either an Iphone 13 or Samsung something because I have been a “good customer”. The person asked for my PIN and my email address. Apparently it is not unusual for Koodo to ask these questions by phone. Here is the phone number: 7782147565. I could not check if it is a legit number of not (the number is located in my town though).I’m speaking with a representative tonight but is there anything else I can do until then?
Hello Guys,Thank you for your time!I was a koodo customer until not long ago. I came to China and so suspended my phone number. Now I saw that the suspension is already expired so I lost my phone number as well as my self-service account. I am still in China, which means I don’t have a valid Canada phone number to schedule a callback. I don’t have a valid self-service account anymore neither. How do I get back my old phone number and start re-subscribing? I really need the number, I filled all documents using that number. I cannot schedule a callback as I am in China without a valid Canada phone number right now. I cannot find the email address for koodo customer service either (believe they do not have one). What should I do?I am so desperate, thank you so much for your help.By the way, I will return to Canada soon. But I need to get my number back before that for many reasons. Thank you!
I got my daughter a new phone which had on and off issues the first week, we thought was service because of where we were located. Phone had no service (except when using wifi), spent two weeks using the online robot doing all the fixes it told us to, couldn't get a call back due to shift work. Finally spoke with a tech vis call back on Saturday, did everything he said as well -yes it is the phone. Let me put you to the web store to get a replacement. Oh wait they are closed until Monday. Place a call back ticket for web store - takes three days. Now they tell me the 30 day window is closed. 9 years customer, four phone lines and a $600 dollar phone they tell me I am stuck with. This is not fair if they do not have a number to call for effective customer service. Very disappointed.
I have a used Alcatel flip phone from the US. I just got my Koodo sim card but it says ‘invalid sim’. I realized it’s locked so I entered IMEI for Koodo to unlock but it says ‘invalid IMEI’. I triple checked the IMEI and I have the right 15 digits. Why doesn’t Koodo recognize the IMEI? Is there another way to unlock it?
