According to Telus I am in a purple 5G area, but I have been running Speed Tests on and off and my numbers are barely 4G never mind 5G.I have a 6 month old Koodo iPhone 14 Plus and I am on the $60 5G Can-US plan. I have tried different troubleshooting like resetting Network settings, taking the SIM card out, etcHere are some Speed Test numbers which are mostly dismal - but what throws me is every now and then (but not often) there is a decent number. The 180 is the best I have seen. Any suggestions?
I have been getting repeated calls (around twice a day on business days) from the number 1-888-338-1487. I usually don’t pick up, but when I do it either hangs up or on the one time I made it in time they asked for my father who is no longer the owner of my account.I had called back and it said it was Telus and brought me through the automatic menu and I eventually told the customer service person that picked up that I would like to be taken off their call list.However, I still get calls from them. I don’t want to block a real Telus/Koodo number in case they need to reach me but I don’t know if this is a legitimate number they use.
Hello, I have account with 3 lines of which I am the owner and yet all promotional text messages are being texted to my wife’s number, they’re addressed to me but sent to her number. How do I make a change to have them sent to my number instead. Thank you in advance for your help.
Can I share my data with someone who hotspots from my phone while I’m on easy roam in the US?
A recently purchased a renewed Pixel 7 that showed a popup saying “Sim 1 Not Allowed” when I put my Sim card in it. Call, Text and Data don’t work, however I’ve confirmed through Self Serve that the phone isn’t locked to a specific carrier.
I just wanna deactivate my sim but they give me random suggestions why?Tell me how I deactivate my sim.

Hello I need some help from you guys!I did a stupid thing ever!I got phone call from +1 (844) 962-1419 says call from Telus. I didn’t answer few times but on third call I did.The guy was offering me the new phone plan which was with Koodo 50G/$34. I thought it’s a good deal so decided to go for it.long story short, it was after my nap so my brain was 100% working and gave all my information (address, full name, phone number, date of birth and SIN NUMBER!!!! he needed because I didn’t have driver license)After the call I got confirmation email from noreply@koodomobile.com says my order is in process.And agreement from do.not.reply@koodomobile.comAfter hanging up the phone call I felt it was a scam so I called them back and cancel it. I got cancelation email from koodoservice@mail.koodomobile.comCould someone check if this was scam or legit?
Today is my self-install date, so far I’m getting no internet connection and my self serve says my order is being processed. What time should I expect my service to be available on my self-install date? Thx
I just Signed up for Koodo Internet and I selected Jan 5th for my Activation Date but I don’t see it in my welcome email. Billing term states Jan 12th. How do I check my Activation date as I already set my cancellation of my existing Internet service for Jan 5th. I want to make sure I have the correct date.
Hi,I have a problem with receiving calls and text messages from other networks. I asked my coworkers who are with Freedom, Fido, etc. to call AND text me but they said the call goes straight to voicemail. I did not receive any of their text messages either (even though they sent one).I think this all started last week, when I went back to Koodo from Fido via a winback offer. I was originally a koodo user from 2018 until now. Took the black friday deal of Fido and ported my number there. And then back to Koodo when they called me with a winback offer.It seems like I can call and text anybody just fine. Data is also working great (5G). I have also tried some methods that were posted here before such as: None of these work for me. I also contacted Koodo Assists with a scheduled callback but it seems like they can’t reach me either because it goes straight to voicemail, I guess?Thanks,
I found I can convert my physical card directly to eSIM on iPhone 15, while the website said anyone need a voucher to convert, But this time I changed a sim card but same number, I can’t convert it directly on iPhone now. anyone know why I didn’t need one before but this time I need voucher to convert?

Hi I have some questions about the home internet service Koodo provides.Is there any activation fees and or router or modem rental fees or is it purely 55 dollars a month for koodo subscribes plus tax? Is it cable based? how long does this deal last where subscribes get it for 55 and will it change after you lock it in thanks for any help
I purchased a BYOD Data plan and am expecting delivery of a SIM card. I received the email that said "My order is on its way" but there is no tracking info in the email. The email shows Order number: HFO36783317 which is a hyper-link to UPS. But the email says the package is "via CANPOST REGULAR MAlL".The order date was Nov 23 and shipped on Nov 25. It is now Nov 30.I would like to know the tracking number.
I just signed up for Koodo internet and my start date is next week. I got my order confirmation and there's no info about whether a tech needs to visit or not. Does that mean no visit is required?
Hello, Had a quick question for everyone. I was looking at the cellular towers in near Haliburton. I was looking here and I noticed that there are no Telus towers in that area. I find this odd because I get great reception in that area and my phone never “roams”. Does Telus piggyback off other carriers? Can someone explain how this can be? Rogers cannot offer LTE internet to my location but Bell can. Unfortunately, the Bell tower has been full for years and will continue to be so for some time. I was thinking a decent Koodo/Telus plan could do the trick and I would stick it into a phone with hotspot or an LTE router. If I want to go the latter route, I want to figure out what towers it would be using. Thanks!
Has anyone used Koodo's Easy Roam in the Azores. The Azores are part of Portugal, however Koodo's Easy Roam country chart does not specifically indicate the Azores as part of Easy Roam. Anyone who can assist, greatly appreciated. I am still waiting clarfication from Koodo on this matter.
We have some friends and family that are also using call control directly through the TELUS Mobility provider. The TELUS Mobility call control feature includes a “Voicemail Redirect” toggle in the preferences section where it gives the users the option to allow incoming callers who failed the screening prompt to leave a voicemail instead of denying callers completely. Also, the TELUS Mobility call control provides their users the option to add more than the standard 10-digit numbers for acceptance list (such as international callers). Are there any options for this with Koodo?
So I have been trying to communicate with Koodo Refer a Friend at the email koodomobile@support.sparkrefer.com for over 2 months.. All they keep saying is they are investigating and will contact me after.After 7 emails and 2 months of waiting NOTHING is going on.I included the refer a friend email from my dad and still nothing from themI have a feeling they just dont care at all?Anybody else having this issue?im wondering with all of this bad customer service if this is worth staying here?

I have a EPP discount on my bill through my employer, and I just upgraded my phone today and chose a new plan.Will my EPP discount carry forward with this new plan or do I need to send off a new form requesting the discount, since I got a new phone and plan. thanks!

Hi! I called 18336681818 to request a win back deal. I was told I didn’t qualify. Then ten minutes later I got a call back that I did qualify, it was the same person. I wasn’t 100 percent sure it was Koodo so he offered to send a verification email which came from telusservice@i.telus.com any clue whether I need to be worried about Spam?
I am new to mobile phones and now have a Can-US Plan $60 @100GBI make cellular phone calls and send texts pictures etc., by cellular within in Canada Does texting by itself within Canada require data?Does sending video/pictures within Canada require data?Is the process the same in the US re cellular phone calls and texting video and pictures?Does the US require data roaming be on for phone calls and texting etc., within the US and to Canada?Thanks
