Koodo asked me for a credit check to become new client, is this the soft hit or hard hit?

If it is the 1st time you sign up with Koodo, it is likely a hard credit check.


I have signed up for Koodo twice in the past 8 years with a 3 year gap in the between terms, both times was a hard credit inquiry.

If you cancelled, your account was closed. So when you signed up again, they considered you as a new customer and activate similar to the 1st time.
