What features are available in Koodo Prepaid? I’m with Public but I’m thinking about switching for Call Control, Instant Voicemail, Visual Voicemail, and eSIM.Can anyone with an account confirm that these features are available?

I do not want a monthly account.  I would like to give someone my tablet loaded with data to facetime on christmas day.  i can’t seem to find one time only purchases 

I just switched to postpaid account. But haven't completed the port yet. Is there a way to transfer your credit that was on prepaid to postpaid account?

I want to ask if prepaid plan include international roaming (except for US). Thanks

Hi all, I’m about to buy some data on my prepaid account, if my phone dies or I decide to upgrade my phone, do I lose the data remaining that I’ve paid for?

Hi All.. We picked up a Koodo pre-paid SIM today. The plan we have is  $25 with unlimited talk and text.  This is the exact text from the website:$25 Unlimited Text & Picture Messaging, Unlimited Canada-wide Calling and 250 MB of Data with Automatic Top-upWhen I log into self service, I see my usage, and it says 0/100 minutes. Just curious why is shows 100 minutes when the plan says unlimited Canada calling? Did I miss something? Thanks a lot! 

I have a monthly plan, if I want to change to prepaid plan. Can I keep my previous phone number and using the same SIM card?

I saw the promotion and want to get the promo price, but I’m still waiting for my new phone to arrive (bought elsewhere). Is it possible to get in on the promotion now or can I not get it until I activate the SIM card with the awaiting phone? And do promo price carry on after it ends, if I set up the autopay? Ie. is the promo plan, the base plan that I’d be working from in the future?

I can't type in a phone number I want they are all pre-rolled. Is it possible to chose a number for my prepaid SIM?

having a hard time getting into my prepaid acct. i need to know if my acct is closed or is still being used from the person who has stolen my phone.

If it’s the beginning of my monthly bill cycle and I haven’t paid it yet, but I switch to prepaid, what happens? Do I still have to pay for the monthly amount that I didn’t use as well as the prepaid base plan? Or will it turn into some kind of credit? I tried looking this up and even asking an agent and no one could give me an answer. Should I pay for this month and then wait until the end of the month to switch to make it worth it??

I’m in Canada, I have a koodoo prepaid activated phone but I haven’t used it for quite a while, like over a year at least. I need a phone to get a sms text sent to me for verification for work, so I tried logging into my prepaid account so I can add minutes but at login it says: “ Your login failed. Please try again. ” If I try to register a new account to my phone number it says “ The phone number entered is invalid or you may have created your profile already. If you've forgotten your password, please click here ” If i try to reset my password the page says: “ ForgotPassword/LoginUnsuccessfulUser_LoginDisabled” I need help, thanks.

Hi, I am trying to login to self-serve on prepaid to add credits to my phone and I know I am using the correct User ID and Password and it doesn’t work. I then try to reset my password and get ‘’ ForgotPassword/LoginUnsuccessfulUser_LoginDisabled ‘’. Help?

I have several older deactivated sim cards from Koodo. They are the right size and are just sitting there in my desk.  Do I need to run out and buy another one to open a prepaid account?

Hey there, I recently switched to Koddo from Freedom because Freedom’s signals were good. I used Koddo but its the same thing. I want to get back the charges that I paid on my pre-paid plan. I saw on Koddo’s website that switching customers get 30 day trial/ they can cancel within 30 days and get money back. You have to stay under a min and text amount in order to qualify for refund. Please let me know if what I am saying is correct

Hello everyone,I am in the process of switching to a prepaid account but I’d like to get a new number. If I choose to get a new number instead of transferring my old postpaid number, will my old account still close automatically? Or will I have to call Koodo?

I just wanted to talk to someone and now I can’t get a call back until Friday? that’s ridiculous. My prepaid account was double charged for my normal top up. It said it failed the first time said my account was not charged, so i did it again and it said 70$? So it obviously was charged. I just want help to get half of that back and preferably before Friday. There should just be a number we should be able to call.

I have contacted koodo prepaid support reps before regarding port protection and was told that port protection is not available to prepaid customers.I placed another call yesterday and spoke to a prepaid support rep about my concerns. The rep proposed a process which I agreed to, whereby a note will be added to my account which requires the koodo porting department to go through an extra verification step prior to implementing a port out.This is not a perfect solution but at least it presents an extra hurdle against illegal porting of a prepaid line. 

I struggled to purchase an iPhone online with Koodo self serve.Can prepaid user buy iPhone at all (from Koodo’s online Shop)?Every time I logged into my prepaid account,  and add phone to my cart, it requires another login.Do we have to become monthly user in order to buy phone?

Hi,   My wife and I have been using the $15 prepaid plans for quite a while, and have used the automatic top-up for 10% off each month.  Now that that discount is no longer available, I’m wondering if an upgrade to another prepaid package would eliminate that benefit.  I have no intention of touching the top-up setting for my account, but am not sure if that kind of action would be unavoidable in the upgrade process.  Anyone tried this?  Thanks.Chris

Hello,Can you please add the 250 MB Data - FREE, to my Current  Data Boosters, that is included monthly? I have just switched my SIM card over to a newer phone that can access the Internet, etc. in a better way than the old flip that is being retired.Or, is there something that I should do on my Self Serve login to make this happen?Thank you for your help with this.Allan 

Why is the website advertising Prepaid Sim cards for koodoo for $10 in their stores and on Amazon...Go to store they want to charge $20?  Call support they say only participating stores, so i go back put in my city and the store I was just at popped up.  Beyond frustrating and they also sent me to Telus to buy the card which was a whole new level of hell.
