I’m thinking of getting an unlocked iPhone SE (2nd gen), but I want to confirm if it will work with Koodo prepaid BEFORE I buy it. When I look through self-serve FAQs it asks me to put in the phone’s IMEI, but I don’t have this since I haven’t yet bought the phone. Can you please confirm?

Yea that shouldn't be a problem at all! If youre buying it from a store from anywhere in Canada it'll work no problem.

All phones sold in Canada after December 1, 2017, are unlocked as mandated by the CRTC. The mention of an “unlocked” phone is no longer a selling point, though some retail chains still use this term. If purchasing the iPhone SE (2nd gen) second hand, ask the seller for the IMEI number. The model number for the iPhone SE (2nd gen) is A2275 (Canadian and US variants). If all checks out, the iPhone SE 2nd gen should work well on prepaid.
