Cannot port phone number to prepaid

I have just activated my prepaid. When I logged in self-serve and tried to port over my Koodo post-paid phone number, it would not let me.

It says to contact customer care. 

I have scheduled a call back for Koodo and they still haven’t called. 

Why am I not able to do it myself on self serve?

Sounds like you have port protection enabled on your postpaid account.  Just wait for the callback and they can release your port protection.
