Android shows data usage while I was out of range for a week.

Data Usage on phone shows heavy usage during a time I was far from any tower, WIFI only.  Koodo warned me I was running out of my GB booster.  Can I find out what  Koodo has for my usage?

Next time try to disable ‘mobile data’ and use WiFi only. Also, some applications, such as WhatsApp allow you (under setting) to identify ‘WiFi only’  (NOT mobile data) for download of attached media files. One other method to reduce mobile data usage is to enable ‘Data Saver’ (Android ‘Setting’ and ‘Data Usage’). I manage to minimize mobile data usage by doing all the heavy lifting using WiFi only.

yes just log in to your Koodo self serve.  you can see your koodo recored usage there.

For your phone, make sure the data usage does not include wifi (there should be a toggle for that)

Kodo won't be able to see what your data was used for, due to privacy reasons. Did you update done apps perhaps, or some heavy browsing? Nowadays 1Gb doesn't get you far, unfortunately...

I was hoping Koodo would show when the data was used, so I could figure things out.  I should not show any at all while out of range.  Wifi is not selected in Data Usage, so it should only be showing what I’m getting from Koodo.  I expect it to agree.  If I am being charged for data when I know I’m not using any, that is a concern.

Well, as Dennis said, you can see in self serve when data was used and how much. Keep in mind though that the times seem to be off, usually it shows mine having used data in the middle of the night when I used it during the day. But the amounts add up in my case.

If your phone shows data usage, and koodo’s data usage matches (or is close), then it is very likely to be accurate.
