Can I ad data without changing my plan? I just need a couple of extra gigs to see me thru to the end of next week.

I can not port out my wireless home phone due too a flaw in the Koodo system. Koodo treats my home phone like a cell phone, They send a text to authorize the transfer but home phone does not have text service. Thus, the request fails. I called Koodo several times to manually authorize the transfer with no luck.Is it possible to use the home phone sim card in a spare cell so it can handle text message? I tried but the sim card need a pin code.  

I want to switch from being a prepaid Koodo customer, to a monthly plan. Can I do this and have the new plan immediately activated with the SIM card I already have?

Hi there,I will go to USA for a short 5-day trip, end of Aug. I need keep my service (data ) with Koodo while I’m in the US. Any tips? What’s the best and cheapest way  to expand my current plan? Should it be added via activating Internationals Data Roaming?I appreciate any help. Thanks

How often to I have to top up my account for the sim to stay active and not loosing my number?(I want to travel for a few months outside of Canada and I have a prepaid sim).

I want to activate international calling from my number. I dont have any addons in my account , but would like to make calls in case of an emergency.

Hi there, I have paid off my 27/per month tab however it is not reflecting in my new monthly balance. Shouldn’t my bill be 27 dollars cheaper going forward? Thank you in advance

Hello everyone,I am writing to make some clarifications about the 3 types of Tabs as mentioned in the title. I have not found any comparison being made between these 3 types. The Koodo website doesn’t have any information either.I intend to sign up for a $0 upfront tablet plan, with $15/month for 4 GB data. They ask which Tab I want to choose. The monthly fees for the Basic, Mid and Plus are $10, $15 and $33 respectively.Firstly, if I choose the Basic plan, does it mean I pay $15 (4GB data) + $10 (tablet) per month = $25/month?Secondly, with the difference in monthly Tab fees, does it simply mean I pay off the tablet quicker with Tab Plus as compared to Tab Basic? In other words, if the tablet is worth $305, it means Tab Plus takes 305/33 = 9.2 months to pay off, and Tab Basic takes 305/10 = 30.5 months?But doesn’t the tablet plan state that you pay up to 24 months

Hey Community! Ive seen similar threads and have experienced the same issue. New phone arrived in the mail with a new SIM card, and in order to activate it I need two-step verification. I can’t receive a text to the number associated with my account (phone lost), and when i select the option for an email notification, it says something like “your email must be active for 48 hours to continue” which is the same message I saw someone else receive, I’ve had a Koodo account with this as the only email address for years… Help!

With online shopping for a new phone and tabIt says "free returns" and "30 day money back guarantee" Does anyone know the conditions surrounding this policy?  Thanks in advance! 

Does steam+ run off my home network or off the data on my phone plan?

Why am I getting so many calls from a number that starts with V?when I look at it it is from random phone numbers I don’t recognize.can,t Koodo or Telus do something to block these??????

On weekends usually experience more difficulty obtaining service than weekdays.Appears to be planed & routine., Friday night to Mon morning. To have better service on weekends is there an extra charge?

I am unsure as to why I am using so much data. This morning at 10 I added on an extra 500 and its gone!! I checked my email for less than 3 minutes and that was it!! I’m confused….

Hi there,I have a unlimited Canada-wide plan with Koodo, but this is the second month that I’m being  overcharged for the Airtime service.I’m sick and tired of paying extra fees for different services, without my information or permission,  and am thinking about switching to another service provider. Can you please help me to understand what Airtime is and how I can get rid of this service????

I am planning to order a new phone/ plan for a family member on her own Koodoo account, but I am trying to figure out how the payment structure will work. For instance with her previous plan, she would get a bill in the mail and have to take it to the bank to pay it off. No problem.Now since I am ordering this new setup for her online, and since she doesn't have a credit/ debit card of her own to pay for things online, I have to put in my own credit info in order to pay for the $10 shipping fees basically. Which is no problem either.I am just wondering if when I do that, will I also get charged for the recurring monthly payments her new phone will bring afterwards? As if her account/ profile will save my credit card information as hers and charge everything moving forward to that? Or, will everything remain the same as they were before? 

was texting away like normal. texted, put the phone down. a minute or two goes by and i receive a text. i look at it, swipe so i can reply and it says my code is wrong. Its a swipe code with the dots on the screen. Ive tried it over and over and restarted the phone and tried again. currently my phone is off and im a bit frustrated. What happened ? is the system down ? did my phone change on its own ? 

I'm currently on a 12GB 4G plan that is not capped, I see a newer plan for $60 with 20GB but it says it's now capped at 100Mbps.You think it would be a noticeable difference for a heavyish user?Did a speed test and it was around the 360 down and 60 up mark though that may mostly be bogus, just not sure if I should make the switch if quality of use goes down. 

I am not able to change existing base plan $30 at 4G speed to $40 at 4G speed. How can I just pay the difference amount and use the updated  base plan  $40 at 4G speed with the same plan expiry date?  This feature is available with Rogers, Chatr. I do not want to forfeit existing amount and start a new plan.  2022

I moved from BC to Alberta. I want to ensure that I no longer get charged for PST. I recently got a new Calgary based phone number.

I have a Koodo Wireless Home Phone since 2016 using the ZTE WF721. Now lately the phone line keep getting disconnected while on the phone. We noticed the signal status bar goes to red or sometime 1 bar. We usually get 4 bars in the past. I have to turn the unit off and wait 10 sec to turn it back on and it will goes to 4 bars. I been doing this quite frequently lately. Why is your signal keep dropping?
