I moved from BC to Alberta. I want to ensure that I no longer get charged for PST. I recently got a new Calgary based phone number.

+4Did you receive a bill in which you were taxed incorrectly since you switch the phone number?
No. My next bill will be the first since I switched my phone number to AB. But I have been living in AB for a year now. I changed my billing address to my AB address last August (2021), but have continued to be billed for PST. I thought PST should have stopped since I actually resided in AB.
+4The tax is based on the phone number, not the address on the account so it should update on your next bill. If it doesn’t, come back here and we can flag a rep to look into it for you!
