Hello! Current bring-your-own-phone happy Koodo customer here. Last night I had a great deal on a Samsung S22 256GB in my cart and sadly today the deal ended before I was able to complete the order. I tried calling support to see if they would still honour the price I had yesterday and the support person said unfortunately there was nothing he could do. Has anyone had any success getting an expired deal honoured?I dont buy a new phone often, I’ve had this one since 2016 and was willing to pay $40 more per month to get this deal and stick with Koodo longer term. It didn’t sound like there was anyone else I could talk to today but just putting it out here to see if I was wrong. Kicking myself for missing the deal by a few hours. Thanks!
Hi There! I am looking to change my plan and I can include a new phone. The message I am getting is: Heads Up! Due to global supply challenges, this phone’s currently on backorder so you might experience shipping delays. Please note: Billing for upgrade orders will start as soon as your order is approved. My question is: Will I be paying for the new phone “tab” before I even get it? The order can be approved and I don’t have the phone yet?
Not currently with Koodo.I have a brand-new SIM card still in the punch card. I think I had it from when I purchased a phone in the past and got an extra SIM in the package. Is it possible to select a BYOD plan and activate online? The auto chat just keeps sending me in circles back to the phone page.
I am considering upgrading my phone using tab mid. The website states that plans start at $50 and my current plan is $45. Do I need to get a more expensive plan just to upgrade my phone using a tab? or can I upgrade my phone and keep my existing plan but just pay the tab fee monthly?
Hi, I have seen others posting about having problems while trying to buy a new phone online. I tried via my phone and via a computer and two different browsers and the it gives me an error message before or right after entering the confirmation code. I know my card isn’t the problem. I wonder if this problem is solvable online. There is a deal right now until July 4th and I’m afraid I'll miss it. I’m not going to be able to go in person at koodo before then. It is a little frustrating. Thank you!
I currently have a $50 plan with Koodo and am using a Pixel 4. I’m thinking of just buying a new Pixel 6 pro and swapping out the sim card. I’m hoping it’s that easy, however I’m not sure the best way to go about it. The pixel 6 pro is listed for 1129.99 at Bestbuy. I’m wondering if there is a cheaper way to purchase this phone. Can I buy directly from Koodo for a discount? Is paying it down by way of a tab cheaper than paying up front? Any thoughts would be appreciated. Thank you.
Hi, I have purchased a new Samsung Galaxy S21 5G mobile from Koodo, and within 2 months the device stopped working with abrupt behavior. The mobile is getting switched off and when I am trying to switch it on by pressing power button the screen get appear with “SAMSUNG Galaxy secured by Knox Powered by android” (start screen) and this initial message remains on the screen till the mobile battery get drain off and finally it's getting switch off. I have tried these several times but am facing the same issue and can not proceed further.
I have been with Koodo for 10 yrs with very little issues, I now looked into a new phone OMGThey want me to up my plan from 35$ to 60$ a month, I DO NOT NEED or WANT a new plan. Especially not 25$ more for the right to buy a new phone They are charging more than the retail price from Motorola and then telling us they are giving a discount. Why is it that legacy customers can not get the Starter Plan Prices, clearly they are in the system but Not available on rate plan change for existing customersI have a hard time figuring any logic to these absurd requirements in order to pay for a service that once was affordable
I recently just upgraded my phone online, and today the phone shipped. The email stated the SIM card in the box has been activated. Does that mean I'll have 2 phone bills, or will it only work once I put it in my phone and change the sim card on the self serve website? Haha. Just want confirmation so I don't randomly get 2 phone bills lol
Hello,I've been using a Samsung Galaxy A71 4g for now a year and I would like to change the phone for something more convenient for my needs like maybe a flip phone or simply return the phone and use the SIM card with a used Phone from somewhere else. Also Since I selected the 10gb data plan, it seems like I no longer have access to the 3gb plan anymore. Is there also a way I can fix this?
