In the Koodo web portal for prepaid accounts, only voice and text usage is shown. How can I check usage of my 250MB per month?
Geolocaliser mon telephone koodo
Comment on fait pour swapper notre sim si le service automatique marche pas pis qu on peut pas programmer un rappel avec un agent si on a pas de sim dans notre telephone
I have ordered a few weeks ago a new sim card with number, and after a few days when I tracked my order it said order cancelled, and it's been weeks since I don't get my refund from my purchase from koodos. Which would be the way to contact koodos?
Hello! I’m hoping someone here will be able to help me out :) I currently have Monthly plan, however I’ll be moving abroad in the near future and its unclear if I’ll be returning to Canada (thus putting my account on “hold” is not an option). I’d like to switch to PREPAID so I can continue to have service without having to worry about cancelling my account and such but rather just let the number expire.Could anyone confirm if this is possible? How do I go about it? Am I able to keep my same number when going from postpaid to prepaid? Thank you!
I have the Koodo prepaid plan where it auto deduct‘s payment every month. Why are we still not getting call control on these plans? it’s been a year since you said it’s coming
Hi everyone,I am moving to Europe but would like to keep my Koodo phone number active for a while longer. I figured the basic prepaid with roaming add-on is the cheapest option. Do you know if I can move from Koodo postpaid to Koodo prepaid and keep my number.Thank you,Marija
I think there should be a $25 credit for prepaid accounts that are referred, as well as accounts that clients migrate from prepaid to postpaid. I personally know people who would never have changed from prepaid if it wasn't for someone they know pointing out the benefits of them switching to postpaid.
Hi. I have an extra sim card from ordering a new phone on a postpaid plan. I was wondering if another person can use it to register a prepaid plan.
I have seen the official “how does prepaid plan work” paragraph but it is still quite confusing to me. If I get a plan with 3 GB of data, doesn’t the traditional prepaid plan work until you use up your data? It seem to say that I’m still expected to pay the base plan amount every month. And if I don’t top up after 90 days my account will be expired? What’s the difference between the prepaid plan and monthly then?
Been trying to active my sim but I’m stuck on the payment stage. Am I only able to pay with a US or Canadian credit/debit card? I’m trying to pay with an Australian visa debit card (the card definitely works, and I’ve tried two different ones). Note: Only a credit or Visa Debit card registered to a Canadian/U.S. address can be registered to your account. Other International credit/Visa Debit cards are not accepted. I assumed this was only meant for automatic top-ups? If not.. that really puts me in a catch-22 of neither being able to open a bank account nor get a phone number.
I bought a new phone and had to buy new SIM card as old SIM wouldn't fit. I changed to new SIM number in my self serve account. Now I have no working SIM cards , no email to activate and cannot call 611. I would like to keep my account. And I am stuck !
Just want to double check the process of switching from my monthly plan to a prepaid plan is correct as the follows; Get a prepaid SIM > activate > port old number > then the plan will be switched and I’ll be charged for the portion of the monthly plan that I’ve used (as I’m switching mid-cycle) then the prepaid plan from there? I’m also curious as they’re having a promotion for the base plans until Feb. 16 - will my prepaid base plan stay at this price even after Feb. 16? Or is it a one-time deal and revert to their regular price after the promo expires? any help appreciated - Thank you!
I set up auto top up with my prepaid card. I added my debit card information in my account but I can’t see any pre-authorised debit (PAD) information in my bank account. I need the information to meet some bank requirements. I have multiple accounts associated with this debit card and I’m assuming the PAD will be on the default account that Koodo takes money from? My first autobilling will start tomorrow. Please let me know how it works. Thank you!
hello, How do I get a prepaid plan to my esim. Its already activated but when I go to pre-paid section, it says invalid sim # so confused Hope someone can help
Hello, I bought a prepaid sim card off amazon and I went online and activated it. When I log into it says the account is active and working. I've topped it up again to make sure but when I place the sim card into my phone it says that I dont have a sim card. I have a Samsung s8. I'm a first time koodo customer. I've tried restarting, restarting my network settings. Is there anything else I can do myself? Or do i gotta go into a store. Thank you very much for any help.
Hello, should you be able to use WiFi calling on a prepaid plan?
Hi there. My mom in law has a prepaid phone. I want to buy a data booster for her so that she can go online....but unfortunately we made her an account many years ago and don't have access to that email any more.and didn't have luck switching to a new email. Is there another way to buy her a booster other than self serve?
Generally I don’t have any issues with the 2 phone lines I have through Koodo (one a plan, and one a prepaid), which is fantastic. Being a deaf customer, I relied on both phones being consistent, and hassle-free allowing me to pay each bill online without worrying about having to contact support or enter the Hearing world and place calls to worry about anything. Both the plan-based phone and the prepaid phone are on a text-based plan (naturally - seeing as mine is a deaf household), which is exactly what I and my daughter need, and the ability to top up or pay the monthly bill online every month enables us to use the texting-features of the phone without worrying about having to hear to keep our services. However, when something goes ‘wrong’, Koodo becomes one of the worse service providers I have to deal with. It’s shocking how a phone company doesn’t have a phone number you can call to help solve an issue. How such a popular and well-known service provider doesn’t have a publicly-acc
I stopped paying for my baseplan because I stopped using my phone. Now I want to restart, but when I enter my login info, it says log in is disabled, contact us. How do I start back up? I do hope my booster minutes are still there.
I tried it all, phone reset, network reset, do not disturb. Still some calls randomly goes straight to voicemail. This is in Kitchener Ontario area. Koodo support callback also sometimes randomly goes to voicemail. Service Canada calls from No caller ID, that call too randomly goes to voicemail. I am out of solutions. Please help. I am missing important job related calls.
Hi, Please help me with the following questions. Can I buy a prepaid SIM without a Sin number (I am New) Can I change my Payment method in the future In the website there is a section saying a connection fee of 45, what is that? (I thought it was free) Once SIM received, how long does it take to get it activated? How can I check if my phone is compatible with the network or not. If it is compatible, it should be working without a glitch, right? I mean, do I have to look for anything else to see if it will be working or not? How International calls are charged when I am on a prepaid plan ‘$40 per 30 days’Sorry for throwing out too many questions. Thank You
So I’m a monthly customer, meaning I have to buy minutes every month to top up my account. My plan expired and my phone got wet so I couldn’t update it. My phone turns on now & I just tried adding my monthly minutes to top up my phone but every time I try calling *611 my phone attempts to call out & just beeps and hangs itself up. Does anyone know why that is? I need my phone to be topped up so I can verify who I am on my one drive so I can gain access to my homework or else I fail. I’m feeling pretty annoyed right now has anyone ever experienced this before ?
I have a Koodo SIM card for monthly plans but I want to change to prepaid. I know there is a separate SIM card for prepaid and the number on my monthly SIM won’t work when I try to sign up online. Is there a way to use the SIM card I already have and switch to prepaid? I know I’d probably have to call it in since I can’t online but I want to know if anyone knows if it’s possible first
