Hi all, I’m about to buy some data on my prepaid account, if my phone dies or I decide to upgrade my phone, do I lose the data remaining that I’ve paid for?

Nope, as long as you keep your baseplan alive, your boosters are there to stay. No matter how often you change phones :)
