Long time monthly customer with paid off phones (mine and my husband’s) I must upgrade our iPhone 5s to an iPhone 11pro, may I keep my same great Koodo plan 6GB/$40. I’d probably go mid tab, or would I have to pay full up front to retain my plan? Also would I just transfer the same nano SIM card from old to new phone? Thank you 😊
I’ve been using the Back-to-school Koodo promotion of $40/month for 10GB, since August 2021. This promotion claimed that this rate is available to me for up to 24 months. However, I was suddenly told that starting from my July 2022 cycle, my plan rate would increase by $5/month and I would have to pay $45/month before tax.I understand that phone bills are rising along with other living costs, but what about the terms that you guys promised when I signed up for this plan??? Shouldn’t the raise not apply to the promotion duration of 2 years??? I did not sign up for $40/month for 11 months + $45/month for 13 months. I signed up $40/months for 24 months. This is unfair. Please change my bill to the promotion rate that I initially signed up for. The koodo customer service has been horrible, and I have been unable to reach any helpful agent. The chats have been useless. PLEASE get back to me. Thank you.
I got a new iPhone 13, I activated my sim and plan to the phone I’m currently using (iPhone 8) I tried putting my SIM in my new phone and my service won’t work on it. Do I need to phone customer service? Or go to where I got my plan?
I am travelling to the US soon and wanted to put Easy Roam on my 2 phones to be able to text each other and call when required while away on holiday. I am wondering if my one phone has a data block for pictures on it can I still use that phone with easy roam?
HI ,I have added the package for international calling .but it is still not activated.please help me with activating that service
I have a monthly plan that has Unlimited international messaging (text & picture) does that apply to sending as well as receiving texts while in the USA
When my existing Netflix account is transferred, do I need to change Netflix login email address to the one I am using for Koodo?
I’m having trouble activating Discocery+. It’s been 4-5 days since signing up for Stream+
Hey! Wonder if anyone else has experienced this?I activated roaming when I landed in Ireland on my first stop (11:35am). At 12:01am I was charged again when I landed in another EU country. Is roaming meant to give me 24 hours, or is it charged per “day”? Or is it because it’s different countries (which wouldn’t make sense in this scenario since the EU eliminated roaming charges between EU countries)?
I don't understand the "Tab Bonus" concept. Specifically, where is this bonus money coming from? Is it taken from out of monthly payment for the phone service itself? And if that's the case, wouldn't it be just the Tab by another name? This seems to be a stereotypical "too good to be true" situation and I can't help but think there's some kind of "Gotcha!" hiding in the fine print or background.I've read a few responses in this forum regarding this same topic. It almost seems like, in simplest terms, the Tab Bonus is a sort of bribe to ensure customer retention for two years. Is that basically it? (BTW, I have been with Koodo for more than ten years.)
I added extra data for a recent vacation. Now that I’m back, when is the best time to reduce it back to the normal amount? If I reduce it back to normal before the end of the billing cycle, will the extra data remain until the end of the cycle and my new cycle begin with my original data amount?
Hi there I have a few questions... Can the 5$ international minutes add on be used to call NZ? Can I only add it for a month or two or do I have to keep it on? What's the price difference of have vs. Not having it? Thanks!
How do I get a call back? I change my plan from 15 Gb to 20gb but it only gave me an additional 2gb instead of 5gb. I can't get pass the chat to get a call back.
I am outside of canada not able to do any change on so called self serve as for everything you have to talk with rep
Unable to find the Pay-Per-Use Intl Long Distance add-on through Self Serve.Looks like I’m running into the same issue as:
I am currently overseas in Portugal. I have easy roam on my plan, I have verified on my self-serve, both international data roaming and international voice roaming are activated, however I am unable to use it.. I have also tried contacting customer support both online and by calling in, however the kodoo assist wants to set up a call with costumer service by sending a text, which I obviously cannot access as my roaming is not working.
I completed my Tab plan and i would like to switch to a cheaper call plan. A plan with unlimited data
Have signed up for Easy Roam INT. Do I need to remove pay for use international roaming from my add ons? (Was part of my packaged plan).
Hello, Im trying to upgrade my phone plan and take advantage of the promotion going on right now. Currently paying $60 a month for 10GB and there is a promo for $60 a month with 20GB. When I press “switch phone plan” and go through all the steps, It won’t let me and comes up as unavailable with a picture of an ice cream. I bought a iPhone 13 Pro around June 5th if that matters - and I have a remaining tab of $315.
My wife and I are on the exact same plan and have been for a couple years. I have a lot of plan options to put my wife on, but only 1 $60/m option for all tabs for myself. What’s going on here? I tried a callback option but the call just goes to voicemail every time without ringing, so I can’t answer it.
Hi,I spoke to a rep, who was very difficult to understand, so I’m not sure he understood my problem. I have a Galaxy S22. I am past the 30 days and can’t return it. I wanted to find out if there were any other plans that were available for me that I could downgrade to. I don’t use anywhere the data available to me. Does anyone have any ideas or suggestions? I don’t want to walk away from the phone, I just want to be able to change the plan, change the phone - anything to make it all less expensive and still honour my commitment. Would I be better off going to a kiosk or trying again to speak to a representative? Thanks in advance for any suggestions.
To use pay-per-use data, does the data block add-on need to be taken off the plan?
I'm interested in the Stream+ add-on but wondering what happens if you have existing credits on your Netflix account (for example, from a Netflix gift card). Most likely, the billing is switched over to Koodo / Stream+ so your credits remain attached to your Netflix account, and will kick back in if you leave Stream+. But I would like confirmation of what happens. It would be nice if the “Learn more...” page for Stream+ explicitly covered this situation.
I’m looking to top up my data for an international trip (to the US - have already added roaming) but can’t seem to find a spot on Self Serve where I can do that...
so i just switched to a plan with 20gb a data, and i had no data before this, why wont it work? do i have to wait till the new billing cycle for it to go through?
