HelloI have two adds on which seems they are the same. But I pay for both:$5 Unlimited AIR Mins$2 for unlimited minutesI would like to confirm If I cancel the first one, I will still have the unlimited long distance incoming and out coming call. Thanks
I'm not sure what to expect. Any help would be awesome. When adding a line, do i get to choose the new number? We are adding a line for our child, and they wanted to know if they could choose the number they are getting. If so, would this be done before or after receiving the sim card?
Hi, I will use easy roam in US while travelling next week. My plan has unlimited Canada wide phone calls. my question: if I make calls in US -- to Canada, or US local , will I be charged for that? Thanks.
I transferred my service to Koodo and purchased the Stream+ service yesterday from a Koodo kiosk. The salesperson told me I’d get an email for activation but haven’t yet received it. I already have Netflix so I don’t want to be double billed. When I go into my account I see the add-on but I don’t see a way of activating it. I’m billed for my Netflix at the beginning of the month so would like to get this sorted in the next day or two.Am I being impatient or should I have received the email already? Thanks.
Where can I view my rollover data balance?
I am planning to change from another provider to Telus or Koodo because of the need for Call Control ability. Does the $15 starter plan have call control?I know that Koodo only gives call control to post-paid plans, not prepaid, but does this also apply to the online-only $15 starter plan? My old plan was a basic $20 plan and is very similar to this one. The main reasons I’d get this are call control and price similarity, if call control is not available, then it’s a deal breaker for me.Will I be able to bring my old number with this online-only plan? Is this an entirely online process or should I call Koodo to smoothen this process?- Since this plan does not offer picture texts, do I get charged if advertisers send me picture texts?I have never had picture texts in a plan before, do they count as part of the data plan or do they work separately? if I turn off my phones data, will it disable picture texts too? Are emojis mms or sms?On overage fees for picture textsI was reading a previ
Hi I’m trying to add a line to my account but I already have a Sim card for the additional device, but Koodo wants to charge me for a new Sim card when checking out online. Is there a promo code available to forego the Sim card when ordering online?
hi. I bought a phone with 2 year plan $45 for 10gb but right now koodo is giving 20gb for $45 after $15 credit. Can i change my plan now. Without breaking the contract.
Hello there,I have 1000 international free calling minutes add on active, but my call is not going through its says that international calling is not active on my number.Any help will be appreciated.Thank youAnil singh
Ive been a Koodo customer for 10+ years now, its coming up on the time for me to get a new phone. My current plan is a tab plus plan, $45 a month with 2gb of data. When i got to buy another phone it says my play is not tab plus( even though it clearly says it is at the top of the screen) and wants me to choose a tab plus plan of either $65 a month with 40 gb of data or $60 a month with 20gb of data. I want to stick with my current tab plus plan, i never go over my data now as it is, theres no need for me to have 20-40gb, thats insane to me. Id never come close to using it that much. Why are they driving away long time customers?
I can’t see that my data add-on is still there. Add-on was free from Koodo months ago, was shown on old webpage. Now it’s gone.
I received messages from koodo about streaming - I sent an email to koodo asking if this was spam as I don’t stream anything - no response - next thing I know I’m being charged for streaming, an extra $50 on my bill!! I scheduled a call back as Koodo does not recognize easy Customer Service as important. I spoke to the gentleman asking how this happened. His response was to walk me through removing this from my managed add-ons which I did. I told him I sent a message earlier indicating my spam concern - he put me on hold, came back and said he wasn’t sure how it happened. I said I would not be paying anything for any streaming….but of course, my account was never adjusted. Now I have to schedule yet another call back to fight the extra cost charged to may account. Is this how Koodo conducts business?
I pay $5 extra a month for visual voice mail. Yet for the last several months I have received the error message: unable to access visual voicemail. It was implemented and it worked and now it doesn’t. I am still paying the charge on my bill for this service I haven’t received for a while. Do I need an app? Is this gatekept by the make of my phone? If it’s just the fact my phone is too old I’ll unsubscribe.
My mom bought a $65 plan that comes with a new iphone with the intent of using the $65 plan with her old phone, and giving me the new phone to use with a “bring your own phone” $35 plan. Is that allowed? Or is the new iphone locked to the new $65 plan?
Hello,I bought an iPhone 11 128 GB under a 2-year contract with Koodo on Dec 22nd , 2020. I have been paying $45 for the plan and $33 for the device on monthly basis during the last two years. The 2-year period was completed in Nov 2022, but I am still being charged for the device. I was charged for Nov and Dec this year while the contract was terminated in Nov 2022. Any action should be taken from my side? Is there any contact number that I can reach out to resolve the issue? Thanks -- Shiva
Just a question, if I remove easy roam from my add on in self serve does it automatically go to pay per use and do I have the option of reactivating it in the self serve if I need it in the future, thanks
I was talking to my girlfriend in mexico and when I hung up due to some call problems and tried to call her again it was giving me this error. I can't see the pay per use add on in my self serve and I have 1000 min enabled international.
I just changed my rate plan at t my beginnging bill cycle date. This is my first bill and the bill came up to me today. I saw it but i was not satisfied, so i changed it today. Up to now, my current bill doesnt change a bit. Do i still need to pay the same bill this month? because the new bill of my change of plan starts next month? Not sure.
I'm thinking of changing my data plan, when's the best time to do this? Last time I change half way through my plan and I got charged for it.
Hi there,I've had the Long-distance add-on for years and have changed my base plan several times. It was never an issue. After I changed the base plan today, I am no longer able to call international numbers because "International calling is not enabled". From other responses in this forum, it seems like I'm missing the "pay-per-use" add-on for international calls. That's not showing up in my self-serve, so I can't fix it myself. Callbacks can't be scheduled until tomorrow, and I'm relying on this for work. Please help.
I bought a phone recently with $0 upright and a $60 koodo package. Later I realised I did not need 25GB of data and wanted to downsize my plan but my self serve account was only showing me a plan of $65. I asked the best buy employee I got the phone from and he said I couldn’t downsize my current plan, only upgrade it. Now however I see a better plan on my self serve account with $55 p/mo. Can I change my plan to this without it being a problem?
I am prepaid card user, I paid $25 for Unlimited text international, i am traveling outside Canada at the moment, and I cant get any sms from Canada please help, urgent😭 what can i do
I’ve switched to Koodo in summer of 2020 for the promotion they have with the LG velvet, and have been paying a consistent $56 every month w/ taxesI want to lower my phone plan to something cheaper but they don’t seem to have anything under $50.The help and FAQ pages don’t seem to help either as they don’t have anything to allow me to switch to a cheaper option.
