Question about provided number

I’m currently in the process of transferring my number from Bell over to Koodo (I haven’t received my SIM card yet).

My question/concern is that with the emails that i’ve received from Koodo, it shows that they provided me a number and it’s not my current active number.  Will this correct itself when I go through the process of transferring my number?  Did i do something wrong?

Koodo can't create an account without assigning a number to it. When your number is ported in it will replace the temporary number.
