I am trying to switch my rate plan from the 10GB 4G @ $37/mo to the 20GB 4G @ $37/mo, (Happy Day Deals) but am not seeing the 20GB deal in the plans available for me to choose from in self-serve.. How do I switch and get the deal?
Good Morning!I started this discussion post because I have a (seemingly) simple question yet I cannot find an clear answer anywhere. A lot of conflicting replies on older posts.Last Black Friday, I ported two numbers to Koodo, one for me and one of my partner. I was offered the “60$ per month” plan with 25gb 4g data and some other perks WITH an 20 dollar as well as a 5 dollar monthly credit for a total of 25$ off every month. This made the base plans 35$ a month essentially. Now, I was checking the self serve to pay a bill and an offer popped up, it said I can get 60gb of 5g data for 60$ a month. My question is, if I were to switch to this plan, because the base price is the same as my old plan, will the 20+5 credit also apply to this new plan. In other words, will I still be paying approximately 35 dollars because tax for 60gb 5g data? Thanks in advance for your help here!
I want to talk to a person, but I can’t schedule a call back because I only have an american number. I want to talk about options for pausing my account, but I can’t get a person!!! Thinking of just cancelling my phone completely because of this terrible useless lack-of-customer-service loop I’m stuck in. Help!
For the countries that are included in the free long distance perk, does it include mobile phones? For example, can I call France mobile phones or is it just landlines? This is not mentioned in the perk info.
Hello! I recently switched to a 5G plan and did a couple speed tests today and they are all at 4G speeds. You would think that this would be all automatic but is there anything that I could do? The speed tests I ran were on speed test.net and fast.com
I cannot find any information on calling from the USA, to a Canadian number, using US talk booster minutes. Does such a call require a long distance booster as well?
I’m trying to add rollover data for my 3 lines for the last 6 months, I think, and always i get this message that I should try in an hour. And the chat is doesn’t help at all.Do I need to use another browser or the plans are not OK?
Koodo monthly member, why do I need to buy a SIM card to change my plan?
I have seen advice to check your plan details to see if you have 4G/LTE or 5G support. My plan (pictured below) is quite old and does not state this information. How do I know what I am paying for?
I travel around the world a it and signed up for AloSIM. However when I try to install the sim on iPhone pro max 13 I get an error that the device does not support esim technology. Any ideas?thanks
On my on-line Koodo account page, the total number of phone minutes showing under the tab View Usage is 441 / 901. What do the 2 numbers represent? How is it determined and what does it mean?
what is the difference between Premium voicemail and regular voicemail

I just Managed My Add Ons and added $0 Easy Roam Add On. Do I still need to pay $14/day to use my plan data and minutes while abroad?
I want to cuminicate
Hi..I just noticed that Freedom mobile is offering a Canada/USA for 50 dollars a month with 40 GB of data included...would love to see koodo adopt this as well as 12 dollars a day to roam just isn't competitive anymore… Thanks D
I have two plans, but no longer need the old one and it’s a worse deal, what’s the process to transfer the number from one plan to another and then remove the old account? Both are with Kodoo under my account.
At https://www.koodomobile.com/en/help/easy-roam it says: “To access pay-per-use rates outside the U.S., you'll need to add the International Voice Roaming and International Data Roaming add-ons to your account if you want your phone to work abroad. If you're using Easy Roam while travelling abroad, you don't need to do this.”BUT, as I manage my add-ons the description of the International Data Roaming add-on says: “Your Koodo phone needs this free feature to use data when roaming outside of Canada and the United States. Make sure it's on your account before you leave, even if you've added Easy Roam.”Which one is correct?
I have a monthly, postpaid account with Koodo. My daughter has a prepaid account also with Koodo. How can I switch it over to add her phone as another line on my account without losing her phone number?
Hi there, I am living in Europe for one year but am returning to Canada for a couple weeks. I need to reactivate my paused phone number for this time, or buy a short term solution in order to use my phone when I am back in the country. Can someone please advise the best way to go about this? 🙏 💛
I currently have 2 different phone numbers with Koodoo, and on one I see lots of offers to change my plan to (specifically $55 for 50g), but on my other number I do not have the same offers. Can I get the same for both?Ideally I would like the $39 for 20g for both, but I can seem to find that deal on either number. I do not want any new phones, I want to use what we have.
Recently, I switched from my previous plan to a reduced speed but 75 Gig plan. It included 2 perks (international minutes, which I had before and which are super important to me, but would cost another 10 bucks if I lost them). I am thinking of switching phones. The only one on Koodo’s website that I am half interested in (Why is the new Motorola Edge not available????) is the Samsung Galaxy 23 (although I am so done with this annoying Samsung A52). At first every attempt that I made of buying a phone on Koodo’s website with tab resulted in a ‘you can’t keep your plan with this offer’ message. Now it says I can keep my plan, but ‘you can buy perks after purchase’ … To me that sounds like I will be loosing my perks, which I consider part of my plan.(BTW the number of phones available has markedly decreased or am I seeing this wrong? Do they really want us to sign up with TELUS? Is that it?)
BONUS8GBX6M - does this promotion work on prepaid plans? We can not seem to get it working. Thanks
If I change to this plan will I still get charged for raoming fee when I’m in the US and calling US phone number or Canadian phone number ?
