I have added 10 gb of data to my phone. It shows on my account as an addon but it does not show up on my phone. When does this take effect as I am running out of data. 

If it showed up in selfserve, the addon is active.

Your phone data limit settings wasn't set by Koodo though. It was set by user preference. I recommend you check cellular data section and move the data limiter up.
