Hi everyone. I got a new sim today and I haven't given anyone my number. I've gotten 2 calls from debt collectors on a space of 2 hours. They're mentioning a name I don't know. How do i stop this from happening? Or do I just change my number?
I left Canada for four months and removed my Koodo Sim during that time. I continued to pay my phone bill, but when I returned, I received no texts or voicemail from the time I was gone. I know people had sent e messages, but they did not arrive.Are those messages gone forever, or is there a way to retrieve them? If I remove my sim card, does that mean that any texts sent to me in that time disappear?Thanks

I have had Koodoo internet for my home for almost two years with no issues for my job I use a Cisco VPN daily. I have never had an issue connecting. The other night I noticed our wifi dropped once it came back on my VPN would not connect anymore. I have tired everything restarting, shutting down my computer. Restarting the router multiple times. I factory re set the modem. The internet is working fine on my phone and boyfriends work computer but no matter what I do ever since the outage my VPN will not connect. I keep getting the error message Internet connectivity. My IT guys are saying it’s the internet but I called Koodo and they say the internet is fine. I have been going back and forth all day. I had to bring my computer to my parents house and once on their wifi my VPN worked again. Please help how to i connect to my VPN at home again ?
So, I just got my upgrade phone, put the new SIM in and it says “Emergency Calls Only” and “your phone isn’t registered”, even though Koodo sent it to me. Now I’m without cell service. How can I fix this????
I am in Japan and I closed my account through chat bot on the website.However, I am somehow still in a subscription plan and getting charged even though I am not using Koodo service.I tried to call but the only way to reach out to them is using call back which you can set up through chatbot. But you have to have Canadian phone number since chatbot only let you input Canadian phone number.So I am getting charged for nothing but there is no way for me to call and even send the email to make a request.Those are the reasons why I am writing this post here and hopefully Koodo stuff read this and solve this problem.
We currently have fibre optic connection through Bell. previously our internet connection was via cable (Roger’s owned). If we switched to Koodo internet which of the two sources would be used to make the connection? Not really interested in going back to the cable supply. Thanks
I signed up for the premium package at the higher price only to get commercials on Prime and lost all the extra channels I had with Disney +. How was this such a great deal?? Prime is 9.99 a month, which is what we paid prior to signing up and was ad free. Why were we subject to ads and channel line up loss?

The SIM card I have is not working. I have been given a new SIM card. The “Change your SIM Card” fails because the verification code is not being sent out to my email address. All other emails from Koodo have arrived, there is nothing being blocked by filters. I cannot call support or have support call me because I currently don’t have a working phone.How do I get in contact with support?How do I get Koodo to send a verification email?
Asap i click on the Activate link for Disney. A disney page comes out saying an error occured. then brings me to their home page.tried opening regular account with just regular email. gives me email invalid error.the Other two is worked fine.i did not have a Disney account prior
Hello All, since March 21 … I have had nothing but issues trying to get the “ Prime” portion of Stream+ fixed/activated properly.Initially it was because of my existing Prime billed through Koodo and its just been one issue after another after that. The latest was today speaking to 2 levels of support with promise of a callback/resolution. After the call my subscription and receipts were gone!The call went well and I can honestly say have always had pleasant CSR/Tech support.Just noticed now that I can see my subscription has returned with Netflix/Disney activated. However Prime membership appears not to be activated even though I have the “Welcome to Prime” screenshot.Now I’m not sure what to do. After getting the “Welcome to Prime” how long should it take to transfer to my Amazon Account?Any assistance appreciated Thank you!
Hi everyone, I just got a phone call from somebody saying that because I've been a "Telus mobility" customer for a long time I qualify for "the discount." It sounded like a scam so I ended the conversation. Was any part of that call legit?
In chronological OrderSigned up w/ Koodo. Had 2 weeks od daily attempts to send pics w/ texts. Using Koodo, found a way to get/send texts w/ pics. Koodo announced a change and options are, Use the new settings or if they don’t work then buy a new phone from Koodo. Guess what, they don’t work. Nasty way of doing business. Used new settings, and was again, able to send/receive texts w/ pics. For no reason at all, settings no longer work. I have been paying monthly fess for a no half-baked service. That is, may only send receive texts but if has a image, ir goes to byte heaven and no tells the sender (me) or the recipient that there was message w/ pic, but that is kept a secret by Koodo.QUESTION:What were the old settings that had ip address starting w/ 74? That worked until Koodo fixed it to sell new phones.
Hello,Today I’ve been proposed some kind of Koodo wingback offering by phone (25$ for 30giga).The thing seemed legit as the operator on the phone knew my name when calling and he had some info about my previous Koodo account (like when I first opened a line with Koodo in the past, few year ago).Still as the process was very lengthy and extensive (like photo of driver license card through a webpage), I now wonder if it wasn’t a scam.Especially as the number is not referenced on the page of legit Koodo numbers I found here: https://community.koodomobile.com/privacy%2Dsecurity%2Dand%2Dfraud%2D232911/was%2Dthat%2Da%2Dscam%2Dor%2Ddid%2Dkoodo%2Djust%2Dcall%2Dme%2D7809115Number was 1 855 675 3397 and it was about opening back 2 mobile phone lines (SIM card are supposed to be ordered and delivered in the coming days)Anyone could confirm if legit or not ? I installed an E-Sim card from Instabridge on my Samsung S21. When I tried to switch over to use it in the US, I got a message stating: “If you switch, your phone will restart to install apps and features from Instabridge. Some apps installed by your current service provider will be removed and the app data will be erased."This is a scary message as it does not indicate what apps or data is being removed.Instabridge denies this is part of their usage. Samsung did not answer my query correctly.Does Koodo do this? And if so, what apps would be removed and data erased? Or does Samsung do this?Needless to say, I did not use the E-Sim and got refunded. But now I am leery on using any E-Sim card on this phone.
I went into my iPhones settings under Voice and Data and would like to know where can I find the option to disable LTE/VoLTE on the phone.
Long time Koodo customer. Happy with the service. Recently offered a much improved plan from Telus as part of an employee purchase program. Unlimited Data ( throttled after 50 GB ) for $45/mo on a bring your own device program.Because of long satisfactory relationship with Koodo, I want to see if they were prepared to offer any changes to my existing plan to induce me not to switch. Unfortunately I cannot find any way to discuss this with a live human being.Do I just assume that conversation won’t happen and proceed to switch to Telus, or is there some way to talk with a live Customer Service person?
Hello everyone,I am experiencing an issue with Koodo where I am not receiving any messages from overseas, including SMS from real people or bank codes(MFA). I have spoken with the senders, and they have confirmed that they have sent the messages to me, but I have not received them. Restarting the phone does not resolve the issue. Is there a solution to this problem?
