We have a security camera system that sent out a still image to [phonenumber]@msg.koodomobile.com

This stopped working last week.

Anyone have any insights on this?

Just tested it out and it appears to be working for me still.
I would suggest re-setting up this setting in your camera system.

You can also try using @msg.telus.com instead and see if that works.

Great suggestion.

I did a test from my outlook, sending a very basic email to omynumber]@msg.koodomobile.com and @msg.telus.com.  Both worked!

I’ll reboot the security system and see.

This one bounced….  or is being retried.  Still looking into it.

Quick update.

If I sent an email to phonenumber]]@ msg.koodomobile.com  or msg.telus.com it arrives on my phone as expected…..

HOWEVER, when I send the exact email from the mail server attached to my security software, the message never arrives.  NOTE: I’m sending the test message from the web client of the mail server, NOT from the security software.

Also using the web client, I sent a test email to my other email address and it arrived fine.

Is it possible that msg.koodomobile.com is blocking my FROM address?

FINAL UPDATE !

The good IT people at Koodo fixed the problem!

It’s now 6:10pm and an entire days’ worth of security notifications just hit my phone, all at once.  I did not make any changes on my end.

THANK-YOU KOODO !
