Hello. I bought a phone yesterday that turned out to be an American version. I inserted my sim and calling and data work fine, but I'm worried about roaming fees since the phone is not a Canadai variant. Does anyone know if I will be charged for using a Koodo sim card on it?
I would like to upgrade my phone.When I log into my account, there's one offer available that I can earn a $254.25 bill credit for 15months when I upgrade to select phones.If I upgrade to new phone, I have to change the plan over $60 as well. Currently, there's plan offer too. It is available to new activations or phone upgrades with the tab for existing customers. (Up to $254 in bill credits over 15 months. How nice is that?! When I checked after adding the phone and plan to the cart, the total amount of the tab and plan amount to be paid every month is displayed, and only the amount that credits are given only when upgrading the phone is specified at the bottom. The curious thing is that there are two offers, but I don't know why it says that only one gives credit. Nowhere does it say that i can't use both offers, but I'd like to check if I can get a bill credit for the plan.I appreciate it if you could answer to my question asap.
I was reading in the related topic that there is a way to disable receiving texts from email applications. Since the only text I get from email are spam/scams, I would like to disable them.@Flo Koodo (or any other Koodo rep that happens to be reading) you’ve helped people in the other thread with this issue, can I get a PM as well to make the texts go away - I have been reporting them, but they still happen Cheers
I changed my Koodo account email a couple years ago but my Koodo Community email remains the same and I have been unable to find a way to change it.
Hi, I am a current Koodo user,I have been trying to purchase the new iphone 11 + 50GB for $45 promo for the past three days.I keep getting error messages that something went wrong every time I am about to finish checking out. I assume it’s because the web traffic is probably heavy. But either way, at this rate, i feel like I will miss the promotion.Koodo Assist has been pretty useless so far. Can’t schedule a callback until Friday for me.I do not even know who to reach out to.Could I get some help with this?
When I call my voicemail I receive the usual announcement, but none of the number keys is responsive. If I press 1, nothing happens. Same with the other number keys. It goes through the basic voicemail announcement. Then the call fails. Have tried setting up voicemail again, and am unable to. Every way I try to get into voicemail has the same result. Otherwise, my phone is acting fine, I can send and receive calls.

I’m new to Koodo. I want to sign up for a plan and buy a new phone here, but transfer my phone number from my current SIM card to the new one when it arrives. I’ve found instructions for how to do this, however I’m not sure how to handle on the Checkout page where it asks permission to “authorize this number” (the new SIM card number which I won’t be keeping) to make changes on my account. Do I just have to phone someone or buy in-store to get around this? Thanks for any insights.
I am currently in Cuba. On the first day my phone registered fine on the local network and I had full roaming capabilities. The last 2 days my phone won't register. Turning off "select automatically" in network operators shows 1 network (36801) but registration fails. Any ideas?
I have a Public Mobile SIM and phone number. i want to keep this phone number -- but switch to KoodoI’ve already gone to the store to purchase a Koodo sim card (I have it here at home with me). I see that it has a phone number assigned to it already that isn’t my Public Mobile phone number that I want to keep. SO - i have a Koodo SIM with phone number i don’t want. And a Public Mobile SIM with a phone number I do want. How can I get my Koodo SIM phone number corrected?Thank you so much.
I just received a call right now from this number with an id name "koodo loyalty" but as they hear my voice they cut it. How was that!? This is already a RED FLAG! I am about to block the number!!!
I have a new iPhone 13 (mini) purchased from Apple. I’d like to transfer my number to this phone, do I need to take it in to Koodo. I am presently using an iPhone 8 unlocked and use Koodo as my cell provider.
I am a new customer and awaiting the delivery of my SIM card. The email updates I have received in advance of setting up my services includes the assignment of a new mobile number despite I requested the porting over of my current mobile number. Do I need to worry about this now or do I simply wait until I receive the SIM card for my current number to be ported over?
Since a month or 2, I keep receiving almost 3-4 times a week a spam email by message text.But the address use to contact me is: (myphonenumber)@msg.koodomobile.com, and those fraud guy keep having different email to send me this: “Votre plan NetfIix associer au (myPhoneNumber) a été bloqué en raison d'un erreur de paiement. I have gone through self serve and added easy roam & easy roam international. I cannot get connected to any mobile networks. I have tried both automatic and manual.
Look into simplify and secure a way, to not only see usage at any given time without having to ask someone or not rely on tracking that have technical issues, And also looking for direct information on having the ability to switch the SIM card to a decent without any extra cost or having to create a new account, or any nonsense due to I'm not fully knowing what companies or plans were available, and not knowing that I would actually need the option of an Esim as well as a physical due to underestimating the amount of data I actually use (^~^;)ゞ To simplify the info down and give you the questions I need to ask because I was not able to find the information myself.1. Can I get my physical SIM card change to an Esim with no issue and no extra cost?2. Is there a way to be able to access the self serve options for only a specific plan/phone? HELP! My phone was stolen and hacked and I just got back into my Gmail account luckily and found emails from Koodo congratulating me, etc. This absolutely was NOT my doing, I feel like I'm going in circles trying to get everything back to normal! What do I do!!!
I want to change my address on my prepaid Koodo account. The ‘city’ dropdown list does not include my town. When I type it in, the changes won’t save. So I added a nearby town that is on the dropdown list. But it’s not gonna align with my billing info. I think I need someone to hardcode the name of my town into my profile address. I’m concerned that this bug will trigger a problem next time I add funds to pay for monthly charge etc. I can’t get through to any human for help resolving this Koodo-side problem. So I’m trying this forum. Thanks for any assistance and/or for help reaching effective human tech service.

Hi I recently ported to koodo and observed since than that I am not receiving any verification or bank messages. can anyone help out.
I swapped in my new sim card yesterday and now find that I can’t be called by one specific friend. When they call me, they hear the dial tone but I don’t get any indication of a call coming in. We’re both able to call other people and receive calls from others. We haven’t blocked each other. We’re still able to text each other. What’s up with this.We shared an account with Fido so we called them and they were also very confused.
1 app, Stingray music not to name it, is not working anymore while I'm on data only. It works fine on wifi. I searched the internet, reinstalled the app, reset network settings, checked permissions etc. Tried pretty much everything I could find on google.Funny enough, when i reached my max data usage last month i was using the app and it hasn't worked since (koodo had auto disabled my data until the end of the month) Dont think that's possible but wondering if Koodo somehow could have blocked the app from using my data. Just can't find a way to get the app to work on data anymore.Any idea?Many thanks
