Recently joined KOODO, and not yet set up to save incoming calls. How do I do that and how do I retrieve saved messages? And when asked to set up a “voice mail number” how do I do that?
Hi, I have got a new Koodo SIM card and I transferred my old number to it The mobile number is good, However, the message number did not change to my old one. My number is *********9 The message number is *********4 Thank you
I’ve been a Koodo customer for some time (6-7ish years); I lived in NB when I first switched from my old provider, and kept my number (which worked flawlessly). The issue I’m having is I moved to the NWT, and changed my number accordingly. I can send and receive phone calls without issue, my data works fine, however when RCS kicked in (this was well after I had changed my number), it now shows my old number for some odd reason. I can send regular SMS messages fine, and they show up with my current number, however when I try to use RCS messaging, it shows as registered with my NB number. I’ve turned RCS on and off several times with no luck; just wondering if there are any other tricks that might fix the issue that anybody knows of?
Hi,It seems I've run into a problem with my APN settings for a second time, and was hoping someone may have a solution. The default APN settings on my phone cannot be changed, as all the settings are greyed out.Previously, i was able to bypass this by creating a APN with the exact same name&settings. However this seems to have been patched in a recent android or OS update, and you cannot create APNs with the same name. Now i’m stuck unable to send/receive MMS because the default APN settings are incorrect. My main question is this something that needs to be fixed by Telus/Koodo? Or is this something that would need to be fixed by the phone manufacture?Either way it sounds like i can root my phone to get access to the APN file bypassing the greyed out settings but i would like to avoid that if possible.I’m using a nothing phone 2 if that matters at all.ThanksChris
Recently I ported my number to the KOODO, but in my phone the SIM Manager section still show the old number that came with a new SIM. How can I correct my number in my phone?

I have a new friend who uses an iPhone and she receives my texts from my Koodo Samsung Galaxy S10e but I do not get hers in return. Does one of us need to change a setting somehow?
je me suis abonné a la messagerie vocale par texto (ou courriel) et je ne sais pas comment configurer ce service pour receuvoir mes messages vocaux sur courrier.
I would like smartwatches with cellular compatibility to operate independently from smartphones, essentially offering standalone plans or add-ons. It's surprising that Koodo, owned by Telus, hasn't shown much interest in providing this option. I'm amazed that Koodo and Telus aren't striving to stay ahead in the market. Particularly since, Virgin Plus a Bell subsidiary, is now offering Smartwatch plans with their proprietary NumberShare system. It's time for Koodo to catch up and offer similar features to remain current.
Hi there, I can't get through to a real person via the chat box, so I'll ask here.My new phone (S22ultra) came in the mail without a pin or box. How am I able to insert my new Sim card without the pin? I feel lost and frustrated as I currently can't do text or calls. Thank you for your help!
How do I transfer sim from iPhone 7 to esim on iPhone 14 says to contact Koodo. What do I do
Is it possible to connect the WHP hub in such a way that I can also use all the existing wall jacks in my home? I know this is possible with Bell’s home phone modem/hub and perhaps Rogers’ as well.
I was using an eSIM on my old phone. I recently switched to a Tab plan and received a new phone with a new SIM card. However, when I insert the SIM card into my new phone, it cannot be detected. I also tried transferring the eSIM to my new phone, but that didn’t work either. Now I’m stuck using my old phone, as the eSIM is still functioning on it.What should I do next?

My existing Koodo Prepaid phone is 8.0 Android (branded CAT, but mostly that’s extra stuff for contractors, otherwise it looks pretty standard Android). My new phone is a Moto G 5G 2024 sent to me by Koodo along with a new plan. That’s a 6 or 7 OS version jump. So here’s my questions: How likely is a large jump in OS result in some awful outcome during setup? (If it was to be really hazardous, I should not even try to move over anything other than the SIM…. but if it should work without much of a fuss, I’d like to try to bring over some other data) How much of the data produced by apps will I need to move manually? (Given the gap in OS levels, I’d be surprised if every app is currently available for the now OS….)The most critical parts are: Google calendar Google contacts Google gmail Google photos Some downloaded documentsUseful:Google Maps Apps from a few note taking apps Shazam items I want to purchase later A few MP3s of meetings from High-Q MP3 RecorderHow much of that should c
Hi Koodo Community,I'm having an issue accessing my voicemail from another phone. When I dial my area code and phone number and press the * key after the greeting (as I've done before), it no longer allows me to enter my voicemail password. Instead, the greeting continues to play, and it prompts me to leave a message. Can you assist me with resolving this issue? Thanks.
Hi There,My work involves helping homeless men.A little over a week ago, I had a 89 year old man who got his Iphone with Koodo SIM card stolen. The thief is using the phone without even removing the SIM card. It rang when I called abt 30 mins ago. He got access to the old man’s Facebook and Whatsapp. Unfortunately he is unable to sign in to Icloud and therefore he is not able to track the device.I know it is a long shot but Is there anything Koodo can do in retrieving the device from the thief?
Years ago I transferred a Voice Over IP (VOIP) number to make it my permanent cell phone number. It worked great except on rare occasions, I encounter apps that still consider my number to be a VOIP number and refuse to accept the number. It happened with UBER and SnapChat in the past but they now accept VOIP number. Today it happened again with ticketmaster. I can’t create an account as it said that my phone number is not supported. There must be something the telco (Koodo) can do to mark my number as not a VOIP number but a cell number. I am not sure where to go for help on this one.
I recently got koodo internet.Everything is setup, the modem is showing full connection; wifi shows a green light, but I can’t access any webpage, other than the wifi router page. Internet works when I connect directly to the modem.I’ve tried connecting through Lan 1 from my computer and still no success. They not send me attractivetion mail. On my Koodo cell phone how can I increase incoming call rings from two to six
I tried accessing my voicemail from my wireless home phone yesterday and when prompted to press ‘1’ to check the new voicemails, it wouldn’t do anything. Then I would hang up the phone and try again and the voicemail menu would still be running. Today, the voicemail menu is still running when I hit the ‘talk’ button on the phone and I can’t even make a call out.
I resolved the issue myself but decided to post here anyway in case it helps someone else.I have an Android 13 phone with Koodo prepaid plan. Mobile data works on the phone itself, APN configured as specified at https://www.koodomobile.com/en/help/setting-data-your-non-koodo-phoneMobile hotspot and USB tethering can share a WiFi connection but not the mobile LTE data. Settings > Network and Internet > SIMs > Access point namesI believe the entry labelled “TELUS ISP” of type dun is the source of the problem, but it cannot be edited or deleted, and I cannot create another entry of type dun to override it. SolutionEdit/create the APN specified at https://www.koodomobile.com/en/help/setting-data-your-non-koodo-phoneand change MVNO type from None to GID (IMSI also works)For whatever reason this causes the other entries to disappear, and mobile data sharing via hotspot or tethering now works without issue.
