My phone was set for RCS and I was using it. Then it just stopped. When I try to turn it on it says this:How come it used to work?
ello. I am on a third party e-SIMS that doesn't include phone service. Is there another way to access Koodo voicemail?
First off: Grey haired lady here.I am using a Samsung Galaxy S23+. On Apr 17, I changed my phone plan from 40gb at 4G to 100gb at 5G. Since then I have not had any internet. I checked my Mobile Network and it was set to LTE/WCDMA/GSM (auto connect). I then tried to change it to 5G/WCDMA/GSM (auto connect) and it told me to turn off Power Saving Mode or change its settings to use 5G. I went into the battery and turned off the power saving button. I do not know where to find the settings to change it to use 5G if there is a special setting for that. For a very short while after I turned off the battery saving button, yesterday and switched it to the 5G network option, I had internet. Fast forward to today and I again have no internet at all. I went in and changed the Mobile Network to try the other options with no success. I tried restarting my phone and no success. I even checked to see if 5G was offered in my area and according to Telus it is. So I am not sure what the problem is or h
I bought my wife a new Samsung Galaxy A16 5G which works well except enabling Wi-Fi Calling which fails with error message “The number entered doesn't match our records. Please re-enter your number”. After entering number and waiting for access code the phone continually displays error message and needs to be rebooted but still does not enable Wi-Fi calling. The previous phone worked well without issue. Please advise on setting up Wi-Fi calling.
Phone was working fine on Friday Mar 28. Sat Mar 29 I could no longer call or receive calls. Everything else works fine. internet and texting all normal. When I try to call out I get no tone or ring and after about a minute I get “Network busy” and the call cancels. Very frustrating since the phone is not quite a year old and has worked flawlessly since I got it. It is a Nokia G22 running android 14.I have been to my local Koodo and Telus providers and have not gotten any answers as to why this happened. The phone is in a case and has not been dropped or abused.
I have two phones on my account. My wife can text to a 6-digit number on her Galaxy S7. My Galaxy Note 10 even after a hard reset will not text to a 6 digit number, how come?
seeking the information to login to the koodo DM1000 modem.
I bought an new iPhone 13 through Koodo 3 months ago and already my battery lasts less than a day with little usage. My phone had full battery this morning and I just read some news article and played Sudoko for max. an hour and the battery was dead at 2pm.I does not seem possible to contact Koodo online? Do I go to an Apple Store or should I try to get a hold on some Koodo rep?
I am trying to use my own router as it has more LAN ports than the Boost6 (one port only). All the guides online mention that I need to enter the Modem/Router settings and find the “Bridge Mode” setting, I have done that but cannot find this setting drop-down, anywhere! In Network Status, it shows that my Operating Mode is “Router Mode” so where can I go to change this so it says Bridge Mode ?
I tried to refer my husband and when he clicked on the link in his email he got the message “ Sorry, you can't introduce yourself. Instead, share your unique link with your friends to get rewarded.” He has his own email address (from the same internet service provider as me) and is using the same laptop to retrieve and respond to his emails that I use for my email. Why does Koodo’s refer a friend program think that I am trying to refer myself?
I have some smart devices at home that connect only to 2.4 GHz band. I need to split my internet into 2 separate networks - one with 2.4GHz & other one with 5 GHz. How can I do this? It is Koodo home internet.
We have converted two phones to Koodo, one Samsung and a OnePlus. After going live, the OnePlus messaging app will not send photos from the gallery and will not download photos sent to the app by others. Have looked at all data settings and see nothing that looks like a change would help. The Samsung phone continues to operate as both did before. Note: the messaging app not working does not have the small paper clip and camera icons beside the text input field, the way other messaging apps and What’s App does, so one goes out to the camera or gallery and clicks share, and the photo appears in the app but when clicking Send, it instantly fails. With the received photos, when one clicks on it to download it, it spins for a while and fails.
Hello,my phone broke and the Sim card got broken in 2. How can I get a replacement Sim card ?Thank you.
Need help with this issue.I can’t make phone calls from my Koodo number, it just doesn’t ring at all. When someone calls me, he hears a ring from his side, and I receive nothing. Can’t reach my voice mail either. The mobile data is working. And I receive SMS messages from Koodo. What I have tried:1- Switching the phone off for a while and switching on again.2- removing the SIM and inserting it again. Any help would be appreciated.
I am trying to setup wifi calling on my Galaxy S10 but there doesn’t appear to be an option to enable this. Does Kodoo not automatically enable this?
Is there a way to stop, or block spam and fraud calls?, or do I have to change my phone number again!
So I upgraded my phone online and finally got around to turning it on and putting the new SIM card in this week. Did the usual updates and data transfers and everything went smoothly over my home wifi, but when I went to work this morning I quickly discovered I had no data and the phone wasn’t showing any data usage for the month at all… which it should have. I played with all the settings I could think of and nothing worked. When I got home I turned my old phone on to check what it was doing and it turned out I had a text message and two voicemails since I’d turned it off yesterday afternoon. Have I forgotten to do something to transfer my phone plan/number to the new phone? I couldn’t find any instructions anywhere indicating there was something else I needed to do, but maybe I’m just not looking in the right place? Now, I did have a very hard time putting the SIM card into the phone. It kept popping out of the slot, like something wasn’t quite aligned right. I managed to get i
Recently joined KOODO, and not yet set up to save incoming calls. How do I do that and how do I retrieve saved messages? And when asked to set up a “voice mail number” how do I do that?
Hi, I have got a new Koodo SIM card and I transferred my old number to it The mobile number is good, However, the message number did not change to my old one. My number is *********9 The message number is *********4 Thank you
I’ve been a Koodo customer for some time (6-7ish years); I lived in NB when I first switched from my old provider, and kept my number (which worked flawlessly). The issue I’m having is I moved to the NWT, and changed my number accordingly. I can send and receive phone calls without issue, my data works fine, however when RCS kicked in (this was well after I had changed my number), it now shows my old number for some odd reason. I can send regular SMS messages fine, and they show up with my current number, however when I try to use RCS messaging, it shows as registered with my NB number. I’ve turned RCS on and off several times with no luck; just wondering if there are any other tricks that might fix the issue that anybody knows of?
Hi,It seems I've run into a problem with my APN settings for a second time, and was hoping someone may have a solution. The default APN settings on my phone cannot be changed, as all the settings are greyed out.Previously, i was able to bypass this by creating a APN with the exact same name&settings. However this seems to have been patched in a recent android or OS update, and you cannot create APNs with the same name. Now i’m stuck unable to send/receive MMS because the default APN settings are incorrect. My main question is this something that needs to be fixed by Telus/Koodo? Or is this something that would need to be fixed by the phone manufacture?Either way it sounds like i can root my phone to get access to the APN file bypassing the greyed out settings but i would like to avoid that if possible.I’m using a nothing phone 2 if that matters at all.ThanksChris
Recently I ported my number to the KOODO, but in my phone the SIM Manager section still show the old number that came with a new SIM. How can I correct my number in my phone?

And i have the checkbox with VoLTE (active for sure)Pixel 7pro.Please, help me.
I have a new friend who uses an iPhone and she receives my texts from my Koodo Samsung Galaxy S10e but I do not get hers in return. Does one of us need to change a setting somehow?
