Hello Team,The apartment where I live has this phone access where one can punch in a unit number and it would dial to my phone. Then I’ll pick up the call, able to talk to the caller, and if i wish to open the front door for them to get it (friends, delivery driver), then I press button 9 on the keypads. It worked once before during the demonstration, but now it doesn’t. The apartment manager said it could be something to do with the phone provider, and i should contact to get a reset or something.please advise. thank you. Khiem.
When I try to convert a physical sim to an esim on an iPhone SE 2 (2020), I get the error below:There Was An ErrorUnable to Perform ActionThe iPhone has the latest ios, 16.6.The iPhone is not locked.I tried restarting the phone. I tried resetting the network settings.I called technical support and they did not know how to resolve the issue. They said I should buy an evoucher for $15 and then transfer the phone number to the new esim voucher. I was able to convert to esim on an iPhone 12, but not on the 2 different iPhone SE’s.Is the problem with Koodo or with the Apple iPhone SE 2?
Had a call this morning from a number in my area, very nice lady asking me questions, because she had a call from my phone # that was phishing for visa information, She was calling to let me know, was not asking anything personal , just a friendly mention.I would like to know if there is anything I can do to block this from happening. I use the phone mainly for business, and would not like anyone to get this kind of call from what appears to be my number.Thanks,
Hi there. I just got back to Canada after visiting another country where I was using Koodo roaming. Now when I use the voicemail button on my iPhone to access my voicemail, I cannot connect. I get an error saying “Error performing request - Unknown Error”. Can anyone help me solve this?
I just got a new Android phone Samsung 13A, I’ve downloaded apps. I’ve been trying to increase my income so I’ve been trying apps, some apps are brand new to the market. I had a phone through Koodo for 5 years until May and never had a virus. But wasn’t using as many apps before. I have like a stock trading app, a few games that I enjoy and have gotten paid. But what do I do? If I clean it maybe it will do more damage.
Hello I’m trying to put a seasonal hold on my account and am already abroad so calling is not available to me. I have already messaged Koodo on facebook, which was suggested to me by Koodo assist but nobody has gotten back to me and it has been over a day. Please let me know how else I can get ahold of a rep for Koodo.
Hi there, I am getting an odd issue. Sometimes I may get a call from work’s after hour system. I’ve been, recently, not getting these calls. My manager has to call me directly after the system tries my number a few times before moving on to him.We’ve confirmed that system has my number correctly. My manager is located in the States and he’s able to call me fine.I’ve confirmed that the System’s number is not blocked on my device.I don’t have Koodo’s call filtering system enabled on my SIM either. What else could be it?
I am a monthly customer with an old 3g Samsung Galaxy J3. I received a call telling me I need to upgrade, now have a Iphone 14 Pro but online it looks like the sim card is not transferable. I want to keep the same number, how do I know if sim card will fit and is it cheaper to order online? Tried a call but did not understand answer, I may go back to Bell.
Been with Telus since it was AGT and we recently switched from Telus to Koodo for our mobile phones (on Telus’s advice, to save $$). We noticed a real degradation in speed and functionality: no response from Touch Screen for 10 minutes; asking for password with no keyboard; “no server available” on multiple apps. Wondering if anyone else experienced the same difference in service and how you handled it.
I transferred my phone number, input the new SIM card, tried to enter my PIN but it did not accept. I tried to enter Koodo’s PIN but it was not accepted either. Then I got a message that my SIM network PIN blocked, Enter SIM network PUK. Can someone please email me to tell me how to unlock my phone? I do not have access to my messaging or my phone calls.
Hi All, I recently followed these instructions to update my phone’s Access Point Name for Picture and Group messaging compatibility:This link under the tab “Updating Android settings for picture and group messaging compatibility”https://www.koodomobile.com/en/help/picturemessagingchangesPicture and group messaging works fine but my hotspot would no longer work for connected devices. They could connect but would not have access to the internet. I did multiple restarts of devices, tried two laptops, changed the hotspot password, and forgot the network on the connecting device, no luck. I switched back to the original settings and my hotspot is working fine.Any thoughts? Using a Nokia G21. Thanks!
I have the Samsung Galaxy A53 5G unlocked from Samsung Canada. And despite some other members on Reddit saying they have 5G service throttled to their plan. My phone still can’t get 5G signal even after doing the tricks including switching network modes, swapping perks, and removing and reinserting my SIM card. I am in a 5G signal area and my mom’s iPhone on Public Mobile has 5G service everywhere. My plan is the $50 40 GB plan I got in the self-serve.
I have followed koodo step that transfer my phone number from virgin to koodo.I can receive phone call and call out, and sign in koodo online, it shows successfully transfered.And I called virgin that they told me I already cancel their service.But why I can’t receive and send text message.When I text back “YES” within 2 minutes.
I am struggling with the transfer to my new device. I thought I followed the online prompts but things are not quite right. I installed the new sim that came with the card then proceeded to transfer info from my old SE to the new 14. Some info works but cannot make or receive calls. Was I supposed to just move my old sim to the new phone?
Hello. I have a Oneplus 10 Pro phone and VoLTE and Vo-WIFI doesn’t work. I don’t need Vo-WIFI to work but with the upcoming 3G shutdown I want VoLTE to work for better peace of mind. I currently have “Koodo VoLTE Access” listed in the add-ons section in my account. VoLTE is turned on, on the phone. This isn’t enough to activate VoLTE.
Hi there, This is issue is not new, but I think it’s gotten worse recently. So here it goes:I am currently in a rural corner of Nova Scotia, where connectivity is admittedly poor.However, my partner and I both use Koodo, have the same plan, and the phones are sitting next to one another on the window sill …. difference: his phone (a 2018 Motorola, maybe $100) has enough connectivity to provide a hotspot with acceptable latency for video streaming, while I was not even able to provide ANY internet connection via hotspot. As I said, that phenomenon is not new, but it’s never been as bad. After resetting the network, I am now able to create a very, very, very, very, ….. poor connection. Definitely not good enough for video.As I said, it’s gotten worse. The last time we visited here, I was actually better able to use the internet on my laptop with using the phone as a hotspot than trying to access email, messages, youtube directly on the phone. I have Wi-Fi calling enabled, but it almost never is activated. My cell phone service is horrible in my area and if I only have one bar of signal wificalling will not be activated. How do I set the preference to be towards using Wi-Fi? I'm using a Galaxy S8. When I tap on wifi calling no other option is available.
