Activating Wifi Calling

I am trying to setup wifi calling on my Galaxy S10 but there doesn’t appear to be an option to enable this. Does Kodoo not automatically enable this?

Hi ​@EnviroCulture, the wi-fi calling is not activated automatically, you would need to register your phone for the first activation. 

You can find the Wi-Fi calling option in your Phone app, press the 3 vertical dots in the top right for Settings and you will find the Wi-Fi calling toggle switch. 

You will need LTE service and a Wi-Fi connection to activate the service. Once you toggle it on, you should be re-directed to a webpage. Confirm your phone number to receive an authentication SMS with a code. Input the code on the webpage, confirm your E911 address, accept the terms and conditions and the service should be active.

Hi there,

So wifi calling is something that has to be enabled on the device if you have an applicable phone plan. As its a feature in the device, koodo cant automatically turn it on as you have a choice to use the feature if you want it. But the feature should be available for an S10.

Do you have koodo prepaid or postpaid? If you have prepaid, it is only available on the postpaid service. More info on wifi calling can be found in the link below 🙂👍
