So I upgraded my phone online and finally got around to turning it on and putting the new SIM card in this week.  Did the usual updates and data transfers and everything went smoothly over my home wifi, but when I went to work this morning I quickly discovered I had no data and the phone wasn’t showing any data usage for the month at all… which it should have.  I played with all the settings I could think of and nothing worked.  When I got home I turned my old phone on to check what it was doing and it turned out I had a text message and two voicemails since I’d turned it off yesterday afternoon.  

Have I forgotten to do something to transfer my phone plan/number to the new phone?  I couldn’t find any instructions anywhere indicating there was something else I needed to do, but maybe I’m just not looking in the right place?

Now, I did have a very hard time putting the SIM card into the phone.  It kept popping out of the slot, like something wasn’t quite aligned right.  I managed to get it in in the end, but could that be part of the problem? 

Hi ​@JMZ the SIM card sent with the new phone is not activated. You can either take out your old SIM card and use it in the new phone or activate the new SIM card in your online account, here is a guide https://www.koodomobile.com/en/help/koodo-sim-support


Oh my god, of course it was something that obvious, lol!  Yeah, that absolutely worked.  Thank you so much!  I’d seen that part in the FAQ but hadn’t scrolled down far enough apparently.
