I have a place in the city and on an island. Can I access Stream + from both locations?
I recently switched to the $50 CAN-US plan. Can the 50GB of data can be used while in the US, or does the plan only have CAN-US calling and messaging? Also, if I am able to use the data while in the US, do I need to manually deactivate Easy Roam, or can I just continue using my phone as-is without the $14/day charge?
I’ve seen a number of posts regarding new plans saying “ 100 GB of CAN-US Shock-Free™ data ...”. It looks like the wording on the new available plans have changed to say:“ 100 GB of Shock-Free™ data roaming at 5G speeds and unlimited calling & texting within U.S. and Canada.“and that there are no plans anymore that say specifically say “CAN-US” for data. Does the above plan with the new wording still include free data usage in both CAN and USA?Here is a screenshot of the plan:
Hi there, with this plan: 100 GB of CAN-US Shock-Free™ data at 5G speedEasy roam is listed as perk of the plan: Easy Roam is a great feature that allows you to keep using your phone when you’re travelling abroad. It doesn’t cost anything to add Easy Roam to your plan, and you’ll only be charged for the days you use it ($14 per day U.S. and $16 Internationally). For more info, check out our Easy Roam help page.Which is really confusing... Questions:Does it mean that I can use my data in the US without roaming? Do I pay $14/day to use my data in US? Do I need to turn my data off? How does this work?
Changed over to $60 - 100GB plan. It’s states on my email :USA talk, text & dataPrice per month: $0.00Does that mean there is no roaming fees for data or phone use while Im in the USA?No more $14/day fee?
So I’m a bit confused- does this mean I don’t need visual voicemail anymore and can stop paying for it?
Koodo has the new 60$ Canada-USA package. On the included features, it indicates “Unlimited Canada-US messaging”, which means that international SMS/MMS is not included (other than canada-US).One of the perks available is listed to be “Unlimited international SMS (from Canada). Can someone clarify whether this “perk” includes sending international SMS/MMS while in the USA? Otherwise it doesn’t make sense.
Which countries doesUnlimited international messaging (text & picture)* cover? I know it’s not offered anymore. I want to know this BEFORE i agree to replace it!
Does anyone have this plan? If so, can you explain it, please? Does it mean that I can use the data in the us without roaming?
Hi, If I add a TAB on the existing plan, what will happen to my exisitng monthly credit on the exisitng plan? and also I was expecting to find an expiry date for the monthly credits applied on my bill. However, online and also on the bill PDF it shows as "Mthly credit" with no date anywhere.thanks and have a great day!
I have a 10GB plan with koodo, and somehow it sends me a message saying my data is paused, because I've used 100% of it. So I check to see how much has been used, and it says 7.28GB. That doesn't make any sense to me when I pay for 10GB. Help please. Is this a glitch, or something?
To cancel “Device Protection Plan” call 1 844 225 6333. Koodo does not have anything to do with it. It is insurance plan with mobile shop. Just want to share this info .
Hello,I want to call my chase bank in the US from Canada and they have a 1-877 number. Will it be charged if i call?
Is Koodo home internet using the same modem for all plans? If you want to upgrade speed can you just go online and change your plan?
I requested stream+ on October 28th and received the activation email, which I activated the account. I am not able to activate the individual streaming services as it is not showing up on my account. Can you please check what is going on? Thank you!
I occasionally get special offers from Koodo via SMS for add-ons. This month I was offered a special data add-on which I'd like to add to my wife's plan but not mine. The method of accepting the offer is by replying to the text. Is there a way I can add the offer to my wife's plan without changing mine. Both our plans are identical otherwise, a fairly basic plan. Thanks!
My mother has a postpaid plan. She’s currently in China and mainly just needs to receive text messages for 2FA. Maybe she’ll send a text or two at some point. To avoid data charges, she’s got iphone Cellular Data turned off. EasyRoam is NOT added on.What IS showing on the Add-ons are: International Data Roaming … and International Voice Roaming are includedBut she’s unable to receive any text messages. I spent an hour with Koodo customer service/tech support today and was told that phones nowadays require data even for texting. That the only solution is to turn Cellular Data ON. However, my mom is reluctant to test and be subject to the $10/MB pay-per-use if it accidentally incurs data. And I find this advice dubious anyway. What’s the real issue / solution here? Or is tech support guy right?
Is Koodo internet available at Cherry Valley, Ontario?
on https://www.koodomobile.com/en/help/call-forwarding?search_api_views_article_search_fulltext=Call%20forwardingthe following seems contradicting:Note: Only the ‘Call Forwarding unreachable’ feature can be used on Prepaid.Call Forwarding typeDescriptionActivation codeDeactivation codeCall Forwarding unconditional Note: Prepaid accounts don't have this functionalityForwards all incoming calls to another number*21*#21#First how can Only a call forwarding be used on a prepaid account and at the same time Prepaid accounts don’t have this functionality? Begs the question is there call forwarding on a prepaid account?Secondly, if there is call forwarding on a prepaid account can you confirm the monthly. charges are $3.00 plus $0.60 per minute for each call forwarding, plus can you confirm if the one minute is actually. for 60 seconds used or is it for any number of seconds 60 and below? So if the call is 19 second the charge is $0.60 or is it $0.60/60*19 or $0.19 for a 19 sec call? Then a
I just signed my son up for the $15 starter plan but all of his friends are sending MMS texts which he can’t read. I’m assuming this is because they are pictures? Is there a way to add this to the plan? My other son has a grandfathered plan for $25 and pay-per-use Data but that doesn’t seem to be available anymore and it seems ridiculous to pay $35 for a talk & text only plan just so he can receive MMS texts. Sounds like Public Mobile might be an option but I’d really rather not switch
Hello. when I try to access the feature Call control on x3 different browser and on my smartphone via Wifi and LTE, I get a couple of briefs flashes of it trying to open and get this: Looks like something went wrong. I’m currently on a $55 monthly plan, but I’d like to switch to a promotional $35 prepaid plan. Besides the differences in data, calling, and some other features, are there any pros and cons I should know?
Hello I currently have the $65 4G plan 50G and would like to switch to the $65 5G plan 75G. Will my $20/month credit still be applied?
I am interested in changing over to Koodo, and would like to move my two exisitng numbers. However, when I add the BYOD item to my cart, I do not have the option of adding two of them. Does anyone know how this is possible? I.e., I’d like to have two lines for $39 each, both with 10GB.
