I have subscribed to the Stream+ Bundle and have read many help articles, FAQs and forum posts, but I cannot seem to link my Prime account. I have disconnected my subscription from Google Play and been in touch with Amazon support twice, they are unable to help at this time. I just get the usual “existing prime members are ineligible for this promotion” error. When I spoke to the last help agent, they told me my membership must be handled by the 3rd party. What is the trouble with the account linking? Can you help please?
Canada-US roaming with data, talk and texts I have this on my service now. Can someone please explain to me exactly what it means. thank you!
I am a Canadian customer who has just signed onto Koodo’s Stream+ Premium. I already have existing accounts with Netlix, Disney+, and Amazon Prime.Linking up my Disney+ and Amazon Prime accounts presented relatively little problem (the latter ate up what remains of my full-year’s Prime membership so I’m dealing with Amazon for them to process some kind of refund; the process is painful). With Netflix, however, I am having issues with the links that were sent by both the Netflix support team and Koodo. The Netflix link in the body of their email asks me to “ Click here to link Koodo to your current Netflix account. No need to cancel or create a new one.” It sends me to the webpage/web message down below... The one sent by Koodo takes me to their self-serve web page, whereupon login, the activation link for Netflix flat out sends me to the webpage/web message below... Can someone please help? Perhaps a Koodo tech support can provide some assistance in this matter? Both Netflix’s a
I’m going to be taking a 7 day vacation to the United States next month and currently I’m on a Canada only plan for 40$. From what i understand my options are:Easy Roam $14 / Day when activated (potentially $98 for the entirety of the trip) Switch to Canada/USA plan for $65 / monthI guess my question is are there any extra fees or issues I would run into if I were to switch to the Canada/US plan for the month and then switch back once I’ve returned that would make it more expensive than just using the Easy Roam and potentially racking up a $98 bill. Thanks
Hello Koodo experts, I'm currently on the $60/month plan with unlimited talk and text + 60Gb of data as seen in the attached picture. It specifically states that unlimited talk and text includes "Text and picture". I'm considering changing to the $50/month plan but I noticed it just says unlimited talk and text and doesn't mention whether picture messages are included or billed at pay pet use rates. I'm hoping to receive clarification as to whether the $50/month plan does include picture messages or whether that's billed as per pay use. In the event I do change plans I was also wondering if there's any additional fees as a result?I applgize for all of the questions. I'm fairly new to being with Koodo and want to make sure I'm not being charged for things I don't want to to. Thank you for your time!
Trying to add stream+ and once I have entered payment information and continue, it brings me to an error page (something has went wrong).
When I clicked ACTIVATE from within my Koodo account Disney+ sign-up went as planned but after choosing the full catalogue it went to the payment page...Koodo account now says: Active, Start streaming, but Disney+ keeps asking for payment plan…Called Disney, they just see incomplete sign-up for my email. They say Koodo link wrong. How do I get a new activation link for Disney+?
I’m on the previous version of Stream+ which gives me Netflix, AppleTV+ and Discovery+. I see that the new version of Stream+ keeps Netflix, loses AppleTV+ and Discovery+ and adds Disney+ and Amazon Prime. Will the old version that I have be grandfathered for existing users like me? If so, for how long?
With the Unlimited International SMS, does this mean I can send texts AND pictures from Canada internationally free? or just text messages? Thank you!
Hello I’m travelling and scheduled a callback since I wanted to transfer my sim to a new phone but it didn’t work. The time for the callback is 9am tomorrow. Would that be PT or ET? Also any idea why I can’t use the Apple eSIM transfer feature?
Currently, I have Telus Home Internet and Koodoo Mobile. I sign up for Stream+ in Telus to get Amazon Prime, Netflix and Disney+. However, my Amazon Prime account already has a yearly membership of $99 dollar. After linking my Telus account with Amazon Prime, I currently don't know where that $99 went. Telus is charging me the full amount and I don't the rest of that $99 dollar getting refunded. I called Telus Home Internet, and they referred me to Telus Mobility, and then Telus Mobility referred me to Koodoo because my phone number is with Koodoo. I am currently $99 down with no answers and don't know where to get one.
If I subscribe to the Stream+ I understand that if I have an existing account with one of the streamers, billing will switch from them to Koodo. What happens if I’ve prepaid a year for Amazon Prime? Will I lose that pre-paid amount from Amazon?
I'm trying to compare pricing to see if it's a valid deal to switch my Streaming services to accept the Koodoo bundle deal but their noted "basic" pricing isn't what I actually pay - Netflix $23.30/mth, Disney+ $11/10/mth ($133.99/yr), & Amazon Prime $11.09/mth. As nothing aligns with their pricing I don't know what the actual bundle price would be? Note, I live in Saskatchewan/Canada.
I’m thinking of trying Koodo Home Internet (with the 30 days’ trial.)Please tell me your experiences. Are you satisfied with the download speed? Are you satisfied with the WiFi coverage? Do you see the benefits of WiFi 6? Have you had outages? Anything else you can think of?Specific questions:I’m currently billed for Koodo phone service. Will internet service be billed separately? The “Legal Stuff” says “Costs associated with the return of equipment are the responsibility of the customer.” Is this true? Thanks
Hello,I currently have two lines with TELUS, and I’m looking to move my secondary line to Koodo on the $15 starter plan. The question is, I currently have my primary line on a physical SIM and my secondary line on an eSIM. If I open a starter plan online, how do I get it on an eSIM, as I don’t have an available SIM slot? The online portal is forcing me to get a physical SIM, and it says to go in-store to pick up an eSIM. However, I can’t find any instructions on the activation process.I appreciate any help anyone can provide!
How do I change my plan from Premium to Basic?
Hello, I’m not receiving text messages abroad. Both from my bank (2FA) or my friends I’ve asked to text me to test. I have international data roaming and international voice roaming set to on in my add-ons but not easy roaming as I’ve had bad experiences getting charged.I’ve restarted my phone a few times already. What is wrong?!
Is it billed on the existing mobile plan monthly bill or otherwise?
I've looked all over and can't find it explicitly stated weather koodo will block non-phone devices that use a phone plan's sim card like some other carriers do.So, does koodo ‘reserve the right to cancel plans’ or whatever if I were to use a sim card in a different device for the data? If sign up for a plan with a massive amount of gigabytes I'd like to be certain I could use them how I want.
I just changed my plan to the $60 per month Canada-US roaming with data, talk and texts. Does that mean I can be in the U.S and my plan that I have over in Canada (1oo GB of data, unlimited texts and calling) will transfer over once I am in the U.S? I go to church in the states every Sunday and every Wednesday and I want to be able to text/call/data over there. So I’m just double checking that the $60 plan that I just switched over to, will allow me to be able to text/call/data in the U.S with no extra charge of course, the same as I do in Canada. Also, my free perk that I chose was “Unlimited long distance” .. however, it says my add-on per month is “unlimited long distance” and that I’m paying $3 for it but yet it was the option that I chose for a FREE perk. So I hope I’m not getting charged for that even though it looks like I am but it also looks like I’m not….
This is a bit convoluted. I created this account to get a phone for my son +/- 3 years ago. Since then we have transferred the account to his name in Dec 2023, and I am wanting to set up 3 devices under this account as well as needing to change the name on the account as I have gone back to my maiden name. Is this something that can be done online? Or will I need to speak with an agent? Traveling to Koodo store isn't possible at this time. Thanks!
I live in the Lower Mainland. I have elderly parents who live in the Interior. Is it possible to add a second line with a local number for the town they live in?I am thinking of getting a simple unlocked phone designed for the elderly and adding a sim card for their area to my account. They do not require internet access or any bells and whistles. It just confuses them. They need big buttons and loud volumes.
I would like to switch to a cheaper plan but Self Serve only offers me the same or more expensive options. My husband is also a Koodo customer and was offered a plan that I would also like. It was $35 for 30 GB of 4G data per month. I currently pay $60 for 60 GB of 5G data. How can I get the sane offer he received?
Ive been trying to change my Perks all day through Self Serve and keep getting an error saying to try again in an hour..but its been all dayIt looks like you can’t choose a Perk right now. Please try again in an hour. Hi! I want to open an account for my boyfriend because he doesn’t have a credit card. Is there a way I can open the account and put it under his name? Because if he calls people, I don’t want my name to be showing on the other people’s phone. Thanks! 😊
